The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

Terrible portion sizes. Paid for a large cod and child and then cod was comprised of 1/3 of a typical cod fish & chip serving.

This used to do great food when I was last there years ago. Visiting the area again so thought I’d get some good fish n chips! It was terrible. Chips limp and not freshly cooked and dripping in grease. Fish was big, and cooked fresh, so should have been good, I’m afraid not, the fish was absolutely dripping in grease and all I could taste was grease. Really disappointed. Sad to say I won’t be back. Food was awful ! A waste of £18.

I know it is popular, but I can’t see the appeal. It is old fashioned in decor, menu choices and crockery and is very much a school canteen experience. The hot chocolate is watery. Queues were long. Tables are not cleaned, as you’re required to clean your own table and those that don’t are left there dirty. Above all, prices are expensive - £5 for hot drinks, £5 for cakes, £10 for a jacket potato and £16 for a meal.

Food is amazing, fresh and delicious! I recommend to everyone! The reason I come back to Skegness is this fabulous company and their excellent food 🥰🥰

It was closed and shop emptied of everything The shop was deserted and everything cleared out. It looked as though it wasn't: trading any more

It’s a genuine pleasure to write this review! From the moment we arrived and we were warmly welcomed by Ozy (who even remembered us from our last visit over a year ago), we were made to feel very special even before choosing a table for us to eat! It was my wife Joanne’s birthday and we also took her sister Linda with us to celebrate her recent birthday - from our previous visits to The Royal Fish Bar we knew we wouldn’t be disappointed. The fish was cooked to order and perfection – very large Cod cooked in a very light batter with a large portion of chips for Joanne, Linda and myself – what’s not to like! But the icing on the cake is Ozy himself who truly goes above and beyond to make your visit a special occasion – and one that we will be repeating later this year when we take our caravan to nearby Sandwich. A sincere thanks to Ozy and his lovely wife Meriem for making our visit so special – looking forward to visiting again later this year! Chris, Joanne and Linda

We called in one early evening for fish and chips whilst on holiday near Tenbury Wells. The fish was tasty and juicy and there were plenty of chips. Good price, too. We have already booked another holiday for next year so will probably call in here again.

Overpriced ridiculously! Bought a portion of large fish &chips but the fish looked so small I have never seen such a small sized portion of fish .As I won’t be going again definitely paying £9.50 for fish & chips which is ridiculous.

The fish wash ok but the Chips were disgusting and has you can see by the photos your fish and chips do bot fit in the Box mmmm

Kingfish is the best fish and chip shop for miles. Consistently high standards in both quality and service with a smile. They work so hard and cook everything to order, so nothing is preprepared. Why is it that they have queues outside the doors? I’ve been a loyal customer for over 7 years and will continue to be so. Thank you guys for your never ending professionalism and care.

Passing through the village we decided to drop in for a light bite and drink before continuing our journey. Was greeted by the pleasant landlady and took our food order. Sat by the wood log burner (nice) . The sandwiches when served were very tasty and well presented. If passing thru do pop in and give them your custom.

Unfortunaltely the chicken was just not fit to eat, it was completely over cooked and 1 fillet barely the size of coke bottle lid Chips were ok

Had an icecream stop on a sunny October day (they do exist) service was friendly and welcoming and I particularly enjoyed the Mega Icecream. All was good value too
