Two visits while staying in Ullapool, very attentive staff, nice atmosphere, good basic food on both nights, good value and we would certainly recommend

I chose the fish burger with a Japanese twist. The cod was chunky & juicy and the batter delicious & the pickle adds a different interest which works really well. I hesitated over my choice as it was an unknown option for me but I was not disappointed as it was delicious. The rest of the family had the cod & chips were again first class. Only warning…….go easy when ordering the size of chips as the portions are very generous. When next in Norfolk will definitely pay a return visit.

14/11/24: even the small chips were big! 21/08/24: exceptional lightly battered well- done haddock, chips & Irish curry! 14/08/23: disappointing lunch today. Ordered on UberEats. No peas available to order. Had pudding chips & gravy. Looked like a half portion of chips and everything was just warm. 01/06/23: Sausage, chips, peas & gravy! Delicious, good sized portion!

Good food alongside best service in wanstead area.Always the best in my orders.Love to go there and collect my foods.Highly recommend

We actually came twice. It was really cosy and nice food. The fish pie was delicious as was the salmon but my friend felt the sea bass whilst nice would have been much nicer woth a sauce. Lovely staff and not unreasonable prices

Took friends this time to visit our old mate Andy ! Tiny portions but hot and tasty. Usual bad service and rude management but that’s the fun of coming to watch Andy in Acton ! I await Andy’s normal rude flippant reply ! When you work out which customer I am and apologise to us these reviews will stop

After a lovely walk we decided to have a take away coffee each . There was little or no coffee I. Either coffees , the beans must have been reused . Yuk !

Like one of the last reviewers said worst fish and chips ever had. I hope owner is aware how this business is not half as good as it once was. Visited 10/10/24 about 5pm. Girl who took the order was more interested in looking at phone and forgot to give me change. Then the fish and chips, which over the years were always good, were tasteless , batter overcooked and fish was mushy inside. We really should have complained but put half eaten in the bin. Will be trying somewhere else next year. Over the year we visit Lyme about 6 times but we will be trying different take a way when we come again.

When you arrive this place definitely has the wow factor, the way each table part of the same room but doesn't encroach on those next to you is very well thought out. We ordered drinks all of which came in good time, all the staff were friendly and attentive. A few of us ordered some nibbles all of which was lovely, would definitely return and recommend. Great venue for meeting friends, and intimate enough for a nice date night.

probably the worse fish and chips ive ever had the chips where not cooked properly and the assistant drowned the chips with vinegar even the curry sause couldnt drown it out...shocking and over price for the standard of food you get ..they need to get their act together.

What on Earth happened here? I'm guessing it has changed hands. Takeaway used to be superb. It's now awful. Soggy batter. Grey fish. Nondescript chips. We won't be returning.

Read this was THE place to check fish and chips in Beaconsfield, and I would definitely recommend it. I could the medium cod and it was very filling. Wish I had a fork for when it started to fall apart, but still very tasty!

My sons chicken goujons were soggy an chips were cold , my wife’s sausages were under cooked, an my fish an chips were cold my fish was soggy an full of fat an the fish was like Iceland fish an cost me nearly 40 guid , an this chippy won award's , well all I can say is how , it’s my 1st an last time in this chippy , never never had I worse , hey at least dick Turpin wore a mask an probably he could have cooked better , hey it wouldn’t have been hard

Excellent seafood menu in pleasant surroundings overlooking the Harbour. Would highly recommend the seafood it was very well prepared and tasty.
