Best fish and chips we've had in a log time. Fresh, crispy and tasty. Service was fast, polite and friendly and fairly priced. Atmosphere was quiet yet welcoming. Highly recommend this fish bar 👍

Waited in queue, which was fine, not the first visit to this chip shop, but not the same, the girl on the counter took order, when she was serving up, I said to her the fish was on its own, so she through the box of chips! When she was putting the order in the bag, she checked receipt, I asked are you checking, that you didn’t charge for those chips she said no, I’m checking I charged you for water. I thought she was rude! I took the order then drove to where we were going to eat them. We dished out the boxes, and the one of the sausage and chip orders, didn’t contain a sausage! The order was quite expensive, I don’t mind paying for quality, but felt short changed, with un-polite service. I won’t be bothering again, a customer lost!😡

Bang on average. I guess once you've had Enoch's or The Galleon, all other chippies are basically greasy and not crispy. The batter here is DEFINITELY not crispy!

Food was ok, it was very very clean and the staff where very helpful and friendly. Definitely would come back. Great views of the sea.

The tea rooms are in a stunning location and make a great destination for a walk. We walked up from the car park in Lynmouth, it's a about 2 miles along the path. The walk was lovely along side the river which is a fast flowing stream. The path is challenging in places and a little rugid. But having a great destination drives you on. Great staff and good food. One highlight was seeing a Dipper (a small rare bird).

food is tasteless and soggy. only thing making it a 3 star is the portion size. i ordered a medium fish and chips, i got way more than i bargained for.

Absolutely horrible food, the worst place I’ve been too. Wouldn’t recommend.. save your money & go elsewhere. £30 order waste of money. Chips were cold & burnt fish had no taste to it nothing but bland didn’t enjoy one bit of it. Customers always right… don’t think of your profits the customers make you the money…

Excellent Quality and Quantity. Light crispy batter. All freshly cooked to order. Very friendly welcome. Very clean. A fish and chip restaurant of outstanding quality - and not expensive

Wow I love this bloke!! Everytime he takes my calls or dishes up my chips I get a feeling which is indescribable, whatever happens I want this kid to stay if there I’ll be leaving! Keep him at all costs Stoke holy cross..

Good sized portions, tasty - would order again.

Chips were dry so i asked for some ketchup on top and they said 50p
