the wrap has rock hard kebab meat . it went in the bin.😒

Food was lovely and it definitely works better if we share one lot of chips

Well the food we had was absolutely delicious and it was definitely a good call just to get one portion of chips to share between two of us as I didn’t struggle LOL!

Food from here is usually 10/10 not sure what happened today but the chips seemed very oily and at the same time they were not cooked inside was clumpy potentially refried items but I can't say for sure. Bread Bun was dry and hard to rip apart too. nice homemade garlic sauce. Fish was alright.

Got some lunch here from work and was delicious ,decent portion and hot and price fine.menu good eith great offers will be back very soon

Ordered cod& chips absolutely tasteless fish tasted nothing like cod chips were also tasteless and very oily batter on cod soggy complete waste of money never again.

Well I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of this food seems to have thankfully back to how it was. The food was excellent. Not sure what was happening previously but hopefully things are back on the up and up with this restaurant

Terrible. Food arrived quickly enough but was cold. Cheese wasn't melted on the chips, chips looked a day old. Won't use again. Waste of money. 😡

Popped in this shop earlier as I fancied a change from cooking at home. I ordered Fish Pattie & Chips, stood for ages waiting. When I got back home I threw the food in the bin, Chips were scratty the batter on the fish pattie was under cooked and soggy, batter is supposed to be nice and crisp. Waste of money so I shall not be going here again for food.

Absolutely Disgusting not only was the food cold it was inedible and the tiny bit I tasted was vile, I don’t know how that can be sent out to a paying customer. The chips looked like they had been stood for a week and reheated smelt like that as well, most were green and black and wasn’t even a full sized chip amongst them just scrappy bits of potato. The burgers were burnt round the edges as was the batter on them totally inedible. The fish (the tiny bit I tasted) was nasty, didn’t look fresh. it all smelt horrid like old oil. I can’t even say anything I ordered was fit for a pigswill, it was ALL put in the bin. This used to be the best fish shop in town, What on earth happened to it, because It certainly is not now and I would never use again.

For the second time this week, my food has arrived late and cold. When will Just Eat employ couriers who can speak English, read maps and follow basic instructions?

Best Cod in town Shame about the chips The last few months chips have been scrappy and luke warm .a full bag of chips you have 1/3rd of a bag eatable. Have to be microwaved as not hot and I live 2 minutes away

Food tasted OK, but was quite cold by the time it reached us.

Won't be ordering again we always pick up, chips are scrappy and have been like warm,had to warm them up ourselves,tried to give them another go but 3 weeks now and no better

I have received exclusively positive feedback about this establishment and felt compelled to experience it myself. The portion size was notably generous. The curry and chips were both excellent, and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

Ordered food to a new housing estate, so was very sceptical, cost £23 food didn't arrived as feared, rang shop to ask were food was to be to it wasn't there problem, and it was down to just eat and to contact them, discontinued number so obviously no joy, rang back to be told they would look into it and ring us back....its now Sunday no food no phonecall £23 down, appalling service beware.

First time order from this establishment!!! Out of the food ordered, the portion size was excellent and well worth the money - jumbo sausage, chips n beans & mixed kebab - the latter was, in my opinion uneatable - a lot of the chicken was gristle and not actual chicken, but the sausage, chips & beans were delicious! I'll order again but will stick to the doner kebab and stay away from the chicken!

were soggy cold and drenched in mushy peas "perfect for a mushy pea lover" I've always orded from here. but the first time I put Frydays fish n chips in the bin.

seal on packing was broken. packages were open too .

I didn't like the garlic sauce it was like a buttery garlic, never had anything like it. kebab tasted like what I would expect sweat to taste like 🤢🤔 chips and salad were ok but nothing really to my taste so wouldn't come back. Portions are good but way to overpriced regardless of portion size.

food was cold fish was grey chips was like warm ups food was greasy this used to be the best chippy in Middlesbrough the previous owner would be ashamed that they would allow food to leave the shop in this condition this is the 3rd order like this never again

Food normally decent from here but tonight couple items missing and one of the kebab meals was swimming in garlic sauce making the meal very unpleasant to eat.

It's just so lovely to eat Lilly white fish & pay a little bit more & get a ginormous fish good mannered staff it is a lovely clean shop 5***** from us

Small portion, not the best example of chips or sausage and batter. The food looked really good in the display but what I got served didn't look nearly as good.

Chips were great, so was the curry sauce. Was told the burger was good too and my youngest was straight into her food after having a bit of a picky week food-wise. Thank you. :)

Had fish and chips and curry sauce,they were very nice, portions are a lot smaller now as not many chips as got loads before and curry sauce was ok ive had better sauce,prices ok and menu good

Our order was late, which in itself wouldn’t have been an issue but, once again, despite requesting salt and vinegar, we didn’t get it. Also could have done with a few less chips.

My order didn’t turn up I emailed use over 1 week ago to let use no and still no further forward I use this site daily it’s a joke.

Didn’t send the can or bread bun. Chips were cold

tracked our food and it went miles away from our house so unfortunetly by the time it got to us about 20 minutes late it was cold which to be honest we never had a bad meal from frydays and usually highly recommend it so was very dissapointing hopefully it was just a bad night

First time ordering from here. Food was lovely and the portions were really good. We got two ‘small’ mixed kebabs and couldn’t finish it (even though we wanted to!). Best kebab I’ve had for a long time. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Ordered fish and chips and chicken tikka and chips. Food was top notch. Really chunky fish - which was massive - and the chicken tikka was gorgeous. Have used this takeaway regularly and the food is always excellent. 5 out of 5.

Food was not very warm when it arrived so needed to be put in the microwave.

Everything was lovely, thank you. The cod from here is excellent, beautiful and flakey, fresh. Great mushy peas and batter/scraps as well.

The portion size have reduced and the price has doubled!! Definitely does not do any justice at all! My kids got dinner got ruined It seemed like The fish and chips were both marinated just in salt and then fried in salty oil. It was one of our regular takeout for a treat, but definitely will not be going there anymore and I do request to anyone who wants to eat there check the salt so you dont regret like us putting £30 of food in the bin.

Stale rock hard pitta, garlic sauce had a strange taste and wasn't pleasant, just like the price at £2 for a small tub, I'd expect better. Kabab meat placed on top of the chips which left them completely soaked in grease and soggy. Kebab meat was nice & the salad was ok but the rest was disappointing. At £15 I'd expect a lot better for a kabab considering what other local competition offer for similar price

Well food was nice and I remembered to add chips for both of us. However, there was no salt and vinegar on mine and no vinegar on my partner’s despite stating that they were required. Also the boxes didn’t have extra wrapping on them but this didn’t really matter as the food was still hot as it was in one of those extra thick bags.

Food was delicious as usual but due to an error on my part my partner ended up without chips to go with his fish so we shared mine

Food was delivered quickly, so it was still hot. Fish was so fresh and white. Chips were perfection. Batter lovely and crispy.

Portion see was underestimated! I cannot describe how full I was after such a delicious meal. Thank you guys, keep up the hard work and stay consistent with your food.

The food is normally excellent, I'm guessing I ordered at the wrong time of the day. The fishcake was stone cold, it tasted like it was made a few days ago and certainly was not fried to order. Same with the chips and the battered sausage, you could tell it had been sat around for a while. Pity as this is usually a weekly treat. After two bites I put the whole lot in the bin, was'nt even worth microwaving.

Food was stone cold and the chips were disgusting more hard bits than chips and loads were all black, they need to be ashamed charging so much for rubbish.
