The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

We were in Edinburgh for the Christmas holiday, 2024, and we did all sorts of tourist things and walked and walked and, yes, walked. Kilderkin was a fantastic spot to stop, eat delicious food, drink our weight, and experience a fun and welcoming place. We are from Denver and we will be back because of places like this -- with friendly, helpful, and welcoming people working the pub.

I have seen Pizza Plus many times and their collection deals £9.99 for a large pizza, I decided to try their Mexican Pizza (pepperoni, olives and peppers) and also their double pepperoni and honestly it is as good or even better than Dominos. I will get from here again, and if you're local I recommend you do too.

Soy un poco parcial, ya que me encanta cerca y comer aquí con frecuencia. pero no hay mejor pizza en este lado de la ciudad (lo siento civerinos, todavía te quiero tho). morattis es el más cercano a la pizza familiar honesta que se puede conseguir y acomoda cualquier cosa que puedan. No puedo describir lo afortunados que somos también tener este lugar cerca de nuestra casa y entre nuestra casa y lugares de trabajo y tan cerca del casco antiguo de Edimburgo!

La mejor comida para llevar en Edimburgo. La comida siempre es fresca, caliente y bien presentada. Desde que me mudé del área no he estado por mucho tiempo. Fue tan agradable ver que el estándar sigue siendo tan alto esta noche x

never had a bad meal from robertos once in the time between being me born and them closing down, anyone who ever left them a bad review isn't seeing heaven. I'm not religious but i do think that their pizza was sent down to earth from god to cure humanity's problems (war, famine, etc.). Best chippy pizza i have ever had, not a dry topping in sight. Roberto always made sure my mum got her special fish supper bc he didn't discriminate against glaswegians. We lost a titan of saturday nights but heaven gained another deep fried angel. The greatest artists are never appreciated in their time and roberto's was to duart crescent what van gogh was to holland.

If you go in or order collection on the app it's a decent kebab. Order for delivery and its a shocker. That's 3 times now its been over 45 minutes and I've had a cold greasy dumped on my doorstep. I think you can probably tell I'm not going back until it changes hands again. Such a shame a once great kebab shop has gone down the tubes. Let's play spot the salad!

We had a takeaway with pizza's, it was ok but bit doughy on the base and a lot of cheese. I would go here again (but pizza's aren't for me) and try other things.

The lady who took our order for pizza was not pleasant at all. She was grumpy and unwelcoming. Pizza itself was not even average. The dough didn't seem to be fresh. Definitely don't recommend.

Food arrived freezing cold Would never order again after the joke of a £3 "partial compensation"

I’ve been to No 1 Kebab several times and always had a good experience. They have a great selection to choose from, and the kebabs are always a good size — definitely filling and worth the money. One thing that really stands out to me is the service. There’s one staff member in particular who’s always been especially kind and welcoming, which makes a big difference. It’s the kind of place I know I can rely on for a solid meal and a friendly atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it.

The food was served quickly and was cooked fresh. Owner said the pizza sauce is all home made and so is the kebab meat….which you could tell. Was delicious 😋
