¡Esta es la mejor pizza que he probado fuera de Italia! Declaración audaz Lo sé, pero es verdad! ¡Es tan perfecto! Consejo superior - Debes comer en, lo he tenido para llevar antes y la vez que lo he llegado a casa ha perdido el calor, así que definitivamente para la experiencia completa - COMER EN! Pasé por una fase de comer aquí al menos 4 veces al mes y no he ido una vez y no estoy 100% satisfecho! Cuando quiero impresionar siempre llevo amigos y familiares aquí y siempre quieren regresar y seguir y seguir sobre lo bueno que es para meses después.

Comida, servicio, bebidas, postres. Tan bueno. Muy lindo y agradable ambiente. Sin duda volveremos y experimentaremos esta maravillosa pizza! Recomendar 10 / 10

We had a last minute reservation here after a long day and it was great! The pizza is amongst the best I have had and the ingredients were top notch! The chef in the kitchen was clearly passionate and took every care to ensure the pizzas were cooked to perfection. We loved the food. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is the service was lacking at points, it felt a bit rushed and chaotic, but well worth a visit!

Ordered collection. 5 minute wait was fine. Service with a smile. Toppings were of decent quality. Pizza dough was good, chewy and a nice crust. Thicker than normal but I like that. Marinara was tasteless sadly and the cost/size of the dips just left a bad taste. £2.50 for pesto aioli is greed. Not even close to the likes of Wanderers Kneaded, Razzo, Don Bassilico in Fife or Paesano in Glasgow.

All right pizzeria if a bit chilly. However pizzas bland, staff keen to get you out as quickly as possible - and they charge for chilli oil! Would not recommend - much better pizzerias in Morningside and in Edinburgh.

Friendly staff, delicious food, a cosy atmosphere, and fast service. The best place in Edinburgh for dinner. I recommend.

I cant believe people would rate this one star we originally were going to pizza express but we didn’t have a reservation so we walked into matto and asked for a table we immediately got one and 5 minutes later we were asked if we were ready to order we prefer and then our pizzas arrived almost immediately the pizza was 10/10 and it was relatively cheap so if your out in town with not really any plans to go somewhere I highly recommend this place

Amazing pizza, bit the focus on delivery when you have customers waiting Iver an hour for pizza that they said would take 25 minutes is shocking. The delivery drivers were in and out and all the qhile, we waited and waited. Disappointed in the service

Absolutely stupid the choice to not allow table booking!! Pizza was quite good but not very good, there ere better Italian pizzerias in town. Ambience is nice. Quite expensive for the quality of pizza ingredients.

Need to rethink seating policy Turned up for a table at 8pm tonight. There were 2 tables of four free and was told we had to wait. We waited then asked why we could not have one of the 2 empty tables and we were advised it was their policy only to give the tables to more than 2 people. They said it was Saturday night and they were very busy. Yet there was no queue and you cannot reserve tables. It’s a shame we have been going there for some time and really can’t be bothered being shoved to the side for a table that may or may not spend more money than us that may of may not return. I may not return. Shame. The food is quite good. Civerinos in hunter squareis way better - and you can book !

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in Edinburgh!!! They have a wide variety of delicious choices, prices are reasonable and the wine is great. Veggie options too!

I love Matto- love the style and the vibe. I kinda miss super chilled out restaurant’s but there is a risk coming within . My fiancé mentioned to the waiter that the burata salad tasted super sandy (I don’t think the ricotta salad was washed properly) Beers took like 20-30min to arrive which the waiter mentioned it. But still…not from the waiter part but from the manager part a check would be maybe helped the situation 🤙🏻 One of the waiters was great tho. So as the pizza 🍕

Amazing and speedy service (Giorgia was lovely), really cool decor with fantastic pizzas, at really reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

We had been recommended this place by a family member. They don’t take reservations; it’s first come, first served. We arrived 6:30pm on a Friday and get the last table although more space had opened up by the time we left about 1-hour later. I had a spicy pizza with chilli-honey on it. Quite different but really good. Nice relaxed atmosphere with pleasant service. It’s a must if you are in the Morningside area of Edinburgh.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had. I was only in Edinburgh for a week and I ate here 3 times because it was so delicious and the ingredients were such good quality. I was partial to the margherita pizza and arancini - best I’ve had since I was in Italy.

Been here a few time (the Morningside branch) and the pizzas are always great. Ordered two to collect last night - the pumpkin puree and sage, and the roasted aubergine and artichoke. Both were excellent - a good amount of cheese and the bases were perfectly fluffy and crispy for my taste. Staff are friendly even when it's busy and we only waited 20 minutes for pick up. Love this place!

We are thrilled by this new addition to Morningside. As locals we have now been twice and had multiple takeaways. The pizza is always brilliant with interesting flavours. Very reasonable restaurant prices and friendly service. We enjoyed the special pizzas so we can try something new! It is always packed inside so seems to be popular with everyone!

Best food I have had in a long time. After travelling in Scotland eating at several places this was really tasty. Starters were delicious. But besides that the atmosphere was great. Super nice and friendly ladies taking care of you. And I have watched the cooks in the kitchen, they worked seamlessly and super efficient to get the food out on a busy night. Deep respect also for the guy coming from downstairs who came up for the dirty dishes. All in all go visite this place in morningside.
