The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Scotland

Decided to give pizza pad @ behind the wall a try. We were seated fairly quickly. Drink order taken and provided quickly, then food order taken quickly. Our order was for 2 pizzas and a side of fries. I did notice the menu was fairly limited for pizza choices, it would be nice to see this open up a bit more. Whilst our drinks and food orders were taken quickly the service itself was quite slow, we probably waited about 25 mins for the pizza to arrive. However it was fairly busy and to be fair it's quite new so probably still finding their feet a bit. On a plus note the pizza was made freshly and it was served very hot. The pizza was really nice, it had a lovely thin crispy base which we both love. The french fries never arrived at all, these are made in a different kitchen downstairs. We felt disappointed about this, it's a shame that the kitchen downstairs can't support the business upstairs a bit better than thay did when we were there. In the end we said to the staff to cancel them as we had finished our pizza and the fries still hadn't arrived - this was approx 45 mins after our order was taken. The staff themselves were very apologetic about it and ensured that we weren't charged for them. I'm of mixed views on the prices, whilst the basic pizzas are reasonably priced the extra toppings are a bit expensive side. The staff seemed really nice and took the time to talk to us which was really nice. I think with a bit of time to find their way this could be a fab place. I would absolutely recommend giving it a go.

Really kind and friendly staff, pizza was fresh and warmed up in the oven and they had a vegan option! Definitely will be back!

We ordered a chicken kebab, and we got a huge portion with garlic sauce and lettuce. The kebab was delicious, and the garlic sauce was even tastier. The service was very nice. We were there for the first time, and before ordering, we got to try the meat with sauce. We haven't had such a service for a long time. I recommend it with all my heart!!!!

Fish supper 2 medium fish £10.50 can't argue with that.. Good 👍

Great food, good service. But the one thing that constantly puts me off is the staff infantilisation. I never thought you just could be easily infantilised just for having something simple. I don't think I would be coming back here again if the staff keep doing this! Autism friendliness is, difficult to read in this. Not happy at all.

Order was made for above £ 100 , discounted (because of running promotion), but very poorly executed, almost row dough and thingy cheese , same with thiny meat pices, Fast service, but cheating in big way with the execution and use ingredients ( quality and quantity wise. Definitely big disappointment.

Thanks to my brother Abbas, he was very helpful, the chicken doner is also number 10. I felt at home while eating it. All Turks who come across it should try this place.

I had to contact the restaurant myself and go and collect the pizza because the driver cancelled my order and did not let anyone know….

I just tried this place for the first time, had heard good and was starving. I stood at the till for close to 10 mins while a lady served the one other person in there. There were two other girls standing right beside her who just talked to each other the whole time, (I guess they were waitresses for the tables with not a single person to serve) either of who could have served me. There was also a pizza/kebab chef with nothing to do looking at me who could also have served me. I ended up just walking out and came along to Marmaris, it doesn’t look as nice but they take your order straight away.

Went here last night because my usual chippy cafe zucchini was closed and I wish I hadn’t. Had to give at least 1 star but I would give it no stars if I could Chips where greasy - black pudding batter was like cake and soggy and thick and the paper stuck to it - fish batter wasn’t any better - £20 straight in the bin - would not recommend this place - EVER - go along the road a bit to the chippy on the corner of the bowling green - always fresh and delicious

Fabulous little cafe right on the main square at the village green. Great snack menu. Teas coffees etc. The girls are friendly and service is great. They are participating in August's " Eat out to help out: govt scheme which means you eat for half price mon tues and wed. It doesn't get any better
