The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Scotland

We popped in here for dinner before heading to the cinema. It was our first ever visit to this branch and we weren't overly impressed. Firstly, this is now the nearest pizza hut to us as they closed our locals down which we find hard to believe because our locals were always mobbed with ques out the door but this branch was practically empty. The service was a bit hit or miss, we were served by 3 different people, only given 5 minutes to read the menu and order this was even before getting our drinks? Our mains didn't take long to arrive and some were a little undercooked. No staff member ever approached us to see if everything was OK, we then ordered desserts but these took forever to arrive! They didn't taste the same as they used to and definitely not worth the price! Then we asked for the bill but this again took about 20 mins. The atmosphere of pizza hut definitely wasn't there, for example yhe ice cream factory was just sitting on a table, bowls of sweets sitting on the table, not like it used to be attached inside the wall with all the dispensers. The salad bar wasn't great either many things have disappeared. Pizza hut used to be a favourite but its easy to see why they are closing down everywhere...

Really kind and friendly staff, pizza was fresh and warmed up in the oven and they had a vegan option! Definitely will be back!

Decided to give pizza pad @ behind the wall a try. We were seated fairly quickly. Drink order taken and provided quickly, then food order taken quickly. Our order was for 2 pizzas and a side of fries. I did notice the menu was fairly limited for pizza choices, it would be nice to see this open up a bit more. Whilst our drinks and food orders were taken quickly the service itself was quite slow, we probably waited about 25 mins for the pizza to arrive. However it was fairly busy and to be fair it's quite new so probably still finding their feet a bit. On a plus note the pizza was made freshly and it was served very hot. The pizza was really nice, it had a lovely thin crispy base which we both love. The french fries never arrived at all, these are made in a different kitchen downstairs. We felt disappointed about this, it's a shame that the kitchen downstairs can't support the business upstairs a bit better than thay did when we were there. In the end we said to the staff to cancel them as we had finished our pizza and the fries still hadn't arrived - this was approx 45 mins after our order was taken. The staff themselves were very apologetic about it and ensured that we weren't charged for them. I'm of mixed views on the prices, whilst the basic pizzas are reasonably priced the extra toppings are a bit expensive side. The staff seemed really nice and took the time to talk to us which was really nice. I think with a bit of time to find their way this could be a fab place. I would absolutely recommend giving it a go.

Consistently cold chips and overpriced.

Ordered at 17:15 with an estimated delivery time of 35 minutes. Arrived at 19:17. Would have cancelled the order but estimated time changed over 5 times. Needless to say my son was hangry and almost missed as so close to his bed. To make matters worse the pizzas were overcooked (kids one crusts burnt to a crisp), over seasoned and items were missing eg garlic butter for doughballs.

Order took over an hour and a half pizza was cold and didn’t have sauce as I had said if they didn’t send don’t accept the order then I ordered cookie dough and ice cream and received this tiny little cookie with no ice cream that cost me it of money whole food was put in the bin

Good food at a good price Had a burger and chips for only about £5 I didn't have to wait long for my food either

Waited over an hour and a half to receive stone cold, average food. Won’t be ordering again. When we called to find out where it was we were told they were extremely busy and few drivers on. Well, don’t take orders you can’t fulfil in a reasonable time and to a decent standard.

Thanks to my brother Abbas, he was very helpful, the chicken doner is also number 10. I felt at home while eating it. All Turks who come across it should try this place.

I recently ordered on the website and my delivery was handled through uber eats the driver cancelled the delivery and didn’t give me my order I then phoned the store and spoke to 2 staff members who were amazing help! They remade my order and delivered it through there own service and added a complementary side (they didn’t have to but insisted) great customer service and staff working there and extremely grateful for there help and assistance!! (And very good food of course:)

The food is always great no matter how busy they are. The 2x pizza deal for only £10 on Mondays is insane and the servers are so lovely every time I go in. Probably the main reason you should live in penicuik. 10/10

Food was delivered 1 hour 20 minute later . Order was paid online but driver demanded extra £6.50 for delivery and was very rude ! If itsvout if delivery range shop coipd call ams cancel the order. Rather thn driver at my door holding food and wanting more money ! Well never gonna order from them again . Also food cold
