Pizza Hut in Edinburgh, City of

The time that I had went to Pizzahut was as early lunch time so when we arrived we had to wait a bit for the pizza but it had given me and my family time to help ourselves to some stuff from the salad bar. The salad bar was stocked up like it should be and the staff were always making sure nothing was emptied out. The pizza itself was fresh and met my high expectations, there was a wide variety of pizzas all having a perfect balance of toppings, there were a few pizzas that stood out to me which were the cheesy garlic bread which had the perfect balance between the perfect garlic flavour while keeping the perfect cheesy top. The other pizza that stood out to me was the barbecue pizza which had the perfect balance between Smokey bacon sweet sweetcorn and the perfect barbecue glaze. There was an ice cream machine that was surprisingly clean and was surrounded with the toppings and sauces for the ice cream. Overall I was fairly satisfied with my visit and would love to go again.

Went in for tea yesterday and wish we hadn’t. Service has changed to ordering yourself at table with a QR code. Pizzas were greasy and one of them was supposed to have had a dash of Barbecue Sauce but was covered in it. Chips were poor. Daughters chocolate Brownie and Ice cream was the best bit. Dont think we will be venturing anywhere near Pizza Hut for a long time after this. Total waste of money.

Visited Edinburgh with my son for the first time this week. Stopped by on Tuesday night. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. But staff should have kept the annoying Chinese customer quiet! (assuming he was customer and not staff) He was up and down out of his seat chatting to the staff and when we went to the drinks machine he made some non sensical comment to us. When we were leaving he asked my son how old he was and what school he went to. This is unacceptable, peculiar and very creepy. I replied “he doesn’t go to school” and walked out (as we were on our way out anyway). Anyway it’s not pizzahuts fault but it affected my visit so it needed mentioning. On a positive note. The food was superb!!!!! (But quite pricey)

Took the family In today for the afternoon buffet pizza we’re replenished plenty of times as was the pasta .good value for money but what struck me most was the staff who dealt with so many different nationalities coming into the restaurant and had plenty of patience serving them

Have eaten here before. Food was fine, service good, so we decided to pop in again as we hadn,t booked anywhere. When we went in no one else was there. we ordered our food ,a starter and a main and waited , we ended up being served everything at once. My wife also ended up with an extra pizza to boot as the kitchen had made the wrong one. Food was o.k. Service chaotic and the place had zero atmosphere. Awkward.

We had a really good experience at this Pizza Hut. We opted for the buffet as it is exceptionally good value. The food choices was regularly replenished and their was a good choice. The service was good too.

The cost of your dining experience is a joke compared to your competition in the area. The only reason we went to you was you were empty and the other places were full. £70 for food and drinks! This is an absolute case of daylight robbery. I’d pay that for a good meal out not a pizza…and a moderate pizza at that. Your prices have started to supered better food establishments and if it wasn’t for the fact our kids were hungry we would have walked out. Cost of the drinks….you can get multiple 2ltr bottles from Tesco for that! On the day you didnt have ice, refillable drinks and you don’t take cash!! For the or e you pay I’d expect better standards across the board. Won’t be back after that. Every time we have gone it’s got more and more expensive to dine. You have lost a customer to poor pricing and poor experience.

It was packed and the salad bar looked unclean and messy. I had a pizza, ate the first slice, went to get the second one and there was a giant greasy hair stuck to the pan under the slice I ate and the remaining pizza. I was sickened. The guy said he would refund it all as I sat there whilst my husband ate his. They should have taken his away too so that we could eat together but I was satisfied they were refunding us because of the experience. I find a fee days later they just refunded mine. I complained but they wouldn't do anything. Dirty smelly and with incompetent staff!

If I could leave zero star I would do so. Quality of food is disgusting. Salad bar with no edible options (some raw onions, mayo salads and cheap nachos to pick from). This food couldn't justify even the lowest prices. When you scan your order to pay online it is not allowed to continue to checkout without leaving even 5% tip. I always leave tip, I just find it totally rude to be forced to leave tip. Avoid at any cost!!!!

When you’ve spent the day traipsing up and down a new city with a group of kids… a Pizza Hut can quickly turn into a happy pit stop and certainly keeps the kids and teenagers satisfied! It’s the standard formula food and salad bar but the staff are nice and welcoming towards children and the atmosphere is relaxed. Thanks

My children wanted to go to Pizza Huy so we went yesterday to the Pizza Hut at Hanover Street Edinburgh. First we stood for 20 mins waiting to be seated and was greeted by a rude man approx early 20’s no manners. Then when we were seated decide to have the buffet at £14.99 per person and there was four of us. There was hardly anything out service was slow and pizza tasted awful. When we got home at night all four of us felt ill we won’t be back. It’s not the cleanest either.

También tienes una zona de entrantes gratis y te la pones como un buffet Nos quedamos con el trato tan amable de los camareros, uno de ellos español que él fue quien nos tomó nota. Resumiendo, comidas aceptable y camareros de diez.

Nice staff but pizza had little or no cheese. Apparently head office have cut amount of cheese. Real shame

As you'd expect really. Good pizza, comfortable layout. Really not a fan of card online and ordering it online from table though,.nothing technically wrong with it but sometimes you have cash not card. Quiet and enjoyable non the less.

Me and my partner went in for lunch today we had the buffet which costs us £40 you could eat as much pizza as you wanted .. have as much salad as you wanted ... unlimited refills on drinks and ice cream factory unlimited... good selection of pizzas and pasta which was yummy.. staff very friendly smiley and always up for a chat! Had a fab experience TIP IF GOING : DONT ACCEPT CASH.. CARD ONLY PAY AT TABLE WITH A QR CODE

They have one staff member who is highly disrespectful and Mis behave with family people. He is racist and abused my family today in reply to a very polite question. I am going to take legal action against this harassment to my family against Pizza Hut Avoid this place as staff is highly inefficient and can’t manage huge crowd

Desperate for something to eat with two elderly ladies one of which was on a mobility scooter we struggled to find a restaurant in the area with disability access. Good old Pizza Hut! The staff were pushed to say the least! But we were welcomed...

We visited as had meerkat offer, we couldn't get the app to work but the manager was fantastic helped us and had to process it manually. The menu is now very basic but the food we had was lovely

Excellent service. Timothy our server took time and consideration to explain things relating to the menu and ordering etc. Very clean premises and toilets.

We had a lovely dinner here and got exactly what we expected to get at a Pizza Hut - a great pizza without all the fuss.

We ate here in October 2020 and were genuinely pleased with the meal so enthusiastically went back this week but it wasn't a good experience. The food just wasn't fresh. The place was empty and I'm not sure that was just down to COVID.

I’m not sure anyone updated Pizza Hut regarding the pandemic restrictions easing. The servers insist on seeing you have checked in, and then you have to place your own order. Your items are passed over with little warmth or interaction. It felt like the restaurant...

We came here for lunch while in Edinburgh and both got the unlimited buffet for £8.50 each and bottomless drinks, the service was very good and the waiting staff were very attentive and were always caming to bringing out more pizza and keeping the drinks...

Hospitalidad "nueva normal"; ordenar en una aplicación, sin recargas, precios deslumbrantes por pizza congelada, todo realizado en completo silencio (¡diablos, incluso ponen algo de música en la estación de Waverley!).Así sería Pizza Hut en Corea del Norte.

la otra mitad y yo prácticamente construimos pizza hut con la cantidad que hemos comido a lo largo de los años, PERO en esta última visita las pizzas estaban tan grasosas / aceitosas que también podría beber aceite de oliva de la botella y 2 pizzas nos costaron 48. ¡MÁS SIN RECARGAS! ! Ate here on a Tuesday early evening. Restaurant was not too busy so not a long time waiting for food to arrive. Friendly efficient staff. Not expensive.

I recently visited Pizza Hut, with my girlfriend and her sisters, when on a day out in Edinburgh. It was a bit of a disappointment to say the least.It's 30th Dec.. end of the year.. it's busy.. I get it. But c'mon! It was a 60 minute wait *after* ordering food, as they were completely backed-up with orders - because they were short-staffed - so why continue to take orders? Or at least hold off until you're back on track? The food was tasty - but a bit pricey - and the service was good (when it arrived). The staff were superb - considering - and if it weren't for them (5pm, Mon 30th), this place would be getting a much lower score. If a manager was working, or in sight, I'm sure service would've ran a lot smoother..? Something to think about, maybe.

Entró para tomar una pizza individual. Tan pronto como salió, supe que no sería genial, pero le di un mordisco y sí, sabía horrible. Mi otra mitad y llamé para almorzar aquí el domingo y fue encantador. El personal fue muy amable y acogedor. Teníamos las picaduras de queso para comenzar y luego cada uno tenía una pizza. El bar de ensaladas era ilimitado, así como la recarga de bebidas y había muchas opciones. El menú también tenía una buena variedad!

En Edimburgo por un día y opté por una pizza. Otros lugares estaban ocupados, pero Pizza Hut parecía tener mesas y entramos. El espacio disponible en la mesa estaba bien si eres delgada con un asiento que me permite sentarme una vez que mi esposa acercó la mesa hacia ella. Deberíamos haber copiado las actitudes de otros comensales y simplemente entrar y elegir sus mesas preferidas y esperar a que nos sirvan. Podría ponerse al día. ¿Quién sabe? We popped in today with the festival being on and expecting it to be mobbed. We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too busy.We always seem to get served by the same waiter in here and he is lovely - always treats you like a long lost friend.Buffet was good - pizzas were brought out constantly. Ordered off menu for the little one and they gluten free pizza they made was well received!Delicious food, excellent service - what's not to love?!

Tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para el servicio a pesar de que era muy tranquilo. Pedí café y agua, el café era un trago que no se podía beber. La pizza era muy pequeña y no muy caliente, las alitas de pollo eran increíblemente caras teniendo en cuenta que solo había 4 de ellas. Me cobraron 25 por la pizza de mi hijo, y al personal no le importó menos.Nunca más.

Service moyen, pizza bonne mais sans plus... La nourriture reste grasse mais il y a le buffet de salade, un point positif ! Toilettes peu propres...

Visited pizza for lunch on a Sunday place was a chaos no control although there was plenty staff around.

Visited Pizza Hut tonight as a family with a young child. We were offered a booth by a gentleman server. On our way to the washroom the blonde lady serving our area was arguing with the other server who had seated us. She then refused to serve us and after 20 minutes waiting we left. Disgraceful.

Nice place to go. Cheap prizes, good pizza but for me there is too much dough n it taste like a bread roll with topings on it. I prefer thinner. Anyway its quite good.

This place was wonderful, me and my friend had a fantastic meal with Neil? as our server. Everyone we spoke to staff wise was extremely friendly and polite. The food was also excellent.

Visited for lunch on a rainy day in Edinburgh with my partner. The Pizza Hut buffet is extremely good value for money, £7.99 for all you can eat slices of pizza, bits of pasta and a salad bar. The unlimited drinks are good value too! Variation of pizzas is pretty good for the price.

We visited as a party of 8 (4 adults, 4 children), one of our party is a Coeliac so we deliberately chose Pizza Hut because they pride themselves on having a Gluten Free menu… this was a bad decision by us.

Thank you to the excellent Manager and trainee waiting staff. We had a lovely meal. Pizza and garlic bread is fab. Had the individual special but they didn’t have individual deep pan pizzas so they brought each of us a sharing one. Gorgeous. Far too much though but it was boxed up for us to take away.

There are a number of Italians on the same road and we tried them all whilst on holiday. However we all agreed you couldn’t beat these pizzas. Really hot and delicious. They offered to box up for us too. Great service too. Couldn’t fault it.

Teníamos ganas de comer pizza para el almuerzo o la cena antes de tomar el tren para ir a casa. Encontramos el Pizza Hut más cercano y almorzamos, optamos por el buffet de pizzas ya que no tuvimos que esperar a que llegara la pizza. Tenían muchos diferentes y también pasta con dos salsas diferentes.

Este Pizza Hut tiene un bar de ensaladas y eso es lo más destacado del lugar.

El personal aquí es realmente amable y ofrece un servicio por encima de lo que cabría esperar de una cadena asequible. Es un lugar realmente pequeño y bonito con un ambiente agradable y el personal está realmente al tanto de lo que es y no es vegano: la pizza vegana de jackfruit es increíble. Realmente no puedo hablar lo suficiente del servicio del personal, se convertirá en mi lugar habitual de pizza.

Serata fredda in quel di Edimburgo, optiamo per una pizza dal sapore inconfondibile come quella di questa catena.

Went in for a midweek buffet lunch. Waiter was so lovely, friendly, and helpful too. Pizzas were a bit slow coming out eventually but then got better.

Visited this restaurant with my boyfriend on 3/1/2019, greated within a short space of time and taken to a table. The restaurant had clearly been very busy as there was numerous dirty tables and the members of staff were clearly exhausted, desipite this our order was taken shortly after being handed the menus by a waiter who was clearly very experienced as he had the ability to recite the menu!

Nice late night snack, really friendly staff, quick service, place was spotless, not too busy but it was late at night. Food was great, nearly went back for more.

Went here on Sunday just last week. We love Pizza Hut but this one was awful.

Went here just to try the cookie dough, which my friend has recommended. We ordered the sharing size milk chocolate cookie dough, it was so big! served in a long plate with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream on it, while the cookie was still freshly baked. It was very good! Although it was kind of a bit too sweet for me, but the texture was perfect :)

We waited nearly 40 minutes for a table but the restaurant was busy, once shown to a table had to wait 10 mins to place a drink order then a further 10 mins for our food order, only half the food arrived and when we asked for the rest of the order, they asked if we had even placed that order, the salad bar was nearly empty, ordered another set of hot drinks, my son had finished his ice cream an still no hot drinks when we enquired they hadn't been made, so told them not to bother an just give us the bill

I certainly wouldn't normally come in here, but with an hour to kill and a stomach to fill, it made sense.

Visited this restaurant late on Saturday night, arrived around 9.45. Very disappointed in the quality of pizza, we ordered a pepperoni with cheesy bites crust. The main pizza was paper thin, barely any base to it!!! Not worth the £22 we were charged for it. Will never visit a Pizza Hut again, overpriced and poor quality.

Pizza was lovely, service was okay, but the salad bar was a disgrace. The lettuce was brown. Half the items were gone and not topped up replaced. Asked for some potato salad and thought this might prompt them to top up the rest....it didn't. Wouldn't hurry back.

The place was loud and after a full day of touring sights it was not the best choice. The food order was slightly messed up, as our starter came after the our pizza, apologies were given, but a discount would have been better, but I was too tired to argue the fact. Unfortunately we were sat near 4 students who were excitedly loud. So we couldn't wait to eat and go.

First time here and whilst the food was tasty we found the service poor. We were greeted eventually by a waiter who wiped his nose on the back of his hand!! We opted for the buffet and the same waiter said ok and wandered off. We didn’t see him again for 20 mins, but had sorted ourselves out. We were then asked 3 times in less than 5 minutes if everything was ok - twice by the same waiter!!

Arrived here around 12:45 on a Wednesday afternoon and was greeted by why I perceive to be the manger as he was wearing a shirt.

I’m gluten free and the staff had good GF awareness and menu has reasonable options. Location is good and restaurant is pleasant. Only thing was service - slow to get food and then slow to pay (surprised me as it wasn’t that busy, but their did look like only one waitress on). If they offered some form of digital self pay then I would have used this. Would go back.

Food in every Pizza Hut is largely the same, not to everyone's taste but I like it. However, this is my favourite Pizza Hut purely because of the staff - very helpful and friendly, can't do enough for you.

Habíamos reservado una mesa para las 5 pm. Llegamos a 1655 informó de que habíamos reservado una mesa, que tenía que esperar 10 minutos para que nos sentaran. La orden estaba tomando rápidamente, pizza y bebidas que se sirven rápidamente. Entonces todo empezó a ir mal. Me aclararon un plato mientras el resto de nosotros aún estábamos comiendo. Entonces nunca volvió a clara ya los platos. Nos las arreglamos para atraer la atención de una camarera de 30 minutos después de haber acabado de comer. Aunque pedir servicio que pensé que había insultado a ella. . . El aspecto indignado que nos dieron. Pedimos postres que luego tomó 25 artículos mo por venir. Por suerte no estábamos en una prisa. La comida era adorable, pero decepcionante por el servicio muy muy pobre.

Non seulement les jeunes serveuses vous recitent leurs discours avec un regard avide (Mais tant pis je ne leurs en veux pas ce sont des étudiantes qui se font de l'argent de poche) mais la qualité des pizza est vraiment décevante sans parlé du buffet d'entrée qui manque tres certaienemenr de variétés.

Lo visitamos en vacaciones con niños 6, el servicio era extremadamente lento y nos pusieron en una mesa sucia que tuvimos para que alguien venga y servirnos después de esperar 20 minutos. La comida era buena, pero el personal necesario de formación claramente carecía de liderazgo o de formación. Estábamos rodeados de vacío mesas sucias nuestra mesa nunca fue aclaro hasta pedimos pero sólo parcialmente. Pedimos postre que tardaba siglos en venir y luego fue equivocada, ni disculpa. Servicio muy pobre y falta de atención. No volveremos.

Para una comida rápida merece la pena. El servicio es muy rápido y adecuado, aunque no se molestan es hacerse entender si eres extrangero. Correcto

Cuando nos fuimos, en principio nos sirvieron bastante rápidamente por un caballero encantador. Entonces todo empezó a ir mal.

Visitamos ayer para el almuerzo. Inicialmente estaba bastante tranquila pero un poco más concurrido, lo que fue bueno, ya que significaba que los artículos de buffet estaban siendo utilizados luego repuestos más rápido.

Pues eso, una franquicia que tampoco conocemos mucho.

The decor is bit dated . The service is slow but friendly . The food is decent with many combo deals of pizza + salad . The dessert was good too. Overall VFM.

Came here with my partner and 4yr old son, the food was ok, the salad bar was a bit dried out a could do with a refresh but mainly the 2 male members 1 of them I think was in charge just walked around like headless chickens not doing much and kept disappearing where as the 2 female were running around serving tidying up, cleaning. There seemed to be a lack of organisation and leadership.

Eramos ocho personas y nos atendió un camarero amabilísimo llamado Neil. Atención cinco estrellas. Comimos dos menús para compartir que incluía pizza, acompañamiento de diverso tipo de patatas y postres. El buffet de ensalada era libre y gratuito, y también el agua. Pagamos 7 libras por persona y no podríamos haber comido nada más. Pero lo que más nos llamó la atención fue el excelente trato por parte del staff, en este caso de Neil. Es para agradecerselo que escribo esta opinión aquí.

We went here at lunch time, and they had a set price for unlimited pizza pasta and salad and all Pizza Huts do. This Pizza Hut was very clean and all the food was regularly replenished.

Personal amable. Limpio y ordenado. Comida Estándar Pizza Hut, no es diferente de cualquier otra realidad. Única verdadera decepción/problema era varias luces estaban parpadeando y debería de ser cambiado. Oí un miembro del personal les llama "luces de discoteca" en forma de broma a un cliente que habíamos pedido que nos cambiaran lejos de ellos.
