Pizza Hut in Edinburgh, City of

We haven't eaten in a while in a pizza hut, and I can say I saw a huge difference. Pros The buffet of 20 British pounds was worth it. We ate a lot and was totally worth it. The quality of the food was impressive A lot of different pizzas and salads had so many options . The ice cream was a decent one for a machine made . Most of the staff were friendly except one guy was a bit stiff and abrupt Wasn't full, so we got seated fast. Plus, after a few mins, the store was full Cons The concept was a bit new to us Slow Internet connection.

Great staff. Good good. Made us feel very welcome even though we hadn’t booked and they were very busy - it was during Edinburgh Fringe season. Waited a short while to be seated but we were constantly updated as to the status of our table. The food was very good indeed and so was the service. Very reasonable prices. Would definitely return

Small restaurant but plenty of friendly staff on hand to help. Quick service with good quality food. Love ordering online with the QR code as it gives customers plenty of time to decide what they’d like to order without any pressure. Good deals also easy to find through this online ordering system.

Posizionato in modo strategico con entrata su due vie diverse, la pizza è abbastanza buona, viene offerto il buffet delle insalate. Voglio fare i complimenti a George che ha fatto differenza, super gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato molti consigli sulla Scozia e ci ha raccontato un po’ la sua vita. Grazie George! My wife and I have just returned to our budget hotel having eaten there, and, now just read the reviews. We were warmly welcomed, shown a table, and a waitress came to us and took our order for drink and food, no ‘messing’ with QR codes, no mention was made of them. (We are both well over 70 yrs of age, wonder if that helped?). The food came relatively quickly, (we both had a pasta dish), vey hot and very flavoursome. No complaints whatsoever. Only criticism, (we were there at 1700 hrs so it didn’t affect us in the slightest) was that there was a sign on the door saying they were closing at 1800 hrs - an international chain in a capital city - in such a prominent position???

Average all round really. Very little atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff were fine but had limited interactions with the customers and a strong preference to have you order and pay via the QR code on the table. The food arrived pretty quickly but didn’t say hot for long.

Arrived for a booked meal, we were sat down and told to order via the qr code on the table which seemed impersonal. When the kids drinks came we asked for straws and were told where we could go get some. Seemed like staff couldn't be bothered to do anything. Plates weren't cleared away after our meal and the gluten free pizza was burnt. Wouldn't recommend which is a shame as we've been to plenty of other pizza huts and had a good experience.

Went here to eat and was grateful to get inside and seated out of the rain. Everywhere was packed as you can imagine! I think the first waitress was quite new and seated us in the corridor area on a tiny table - not good enough. Asked to move and was seated at the back and then it was great. Plenty of room out the way, nice salad bar and lovely pizza. Had to order on the app but help was offered if we struggled. We were grateful to get in anywhere at all to be honest so this was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

During the Fringe you’d expect it to be busy right ? Pizza Hut wasn’t that busy so we went in. Several empty tables and waited half hour to be served. Staff not to busy but we were ignored so we walked out. We got a vague apology but staff didn’t seem interested. Pizza express opposite side of the road. Mad, Mad busy but we got served immediately !

Vandaag rond 21:30 de pizza hut bezocht. We werden niet opgevangen bij de entree, dus ik liep de zaak in om te vragen of we wat konden eten. Er reageerde na enige tijd een jongen achter de bar en die zei dat ik terug moest naar de wachtplek om geplaatst te worden. Ik liep helemaal met hem mee en werd daarna aan een tafel geplaatst. Hier moest ik de maaltijd via de QR code bestellen en dat probeerde ik. Ik wilde graag een pizza met 2 toppings: kip en ananas. Dit lukte niet online dus vroeg ik de hulp van dezelfde jongen met lang haar. Deze gaf echter aan dat ananas als topping niet mogelijk was. We gaven aan dat we de week ervoor dit wel hadden besteld en gekregen. Volgens de medewerker was dat niet mogelijk. Nogmaals aangegeven dat we dit wel hadden gekregen, maar wederom werd dit ontkend. Er werd verder geen hulp aangeboden door deze medewerker en we hebben de zaak direct verlaten. Slechte beurt en service van deze medewerker, omdat de week ervoor we prima werden geholpen door het meisje met de piercing. Helaas!

this pizza was the worst pizza i have ever had. absolutely tasteless and half cooked, very little toppings. 2 other tables beside me complained and nothing done for either of us. when staff asked if meal ok and told it was terrible all waitress did was smirk and smile. Save your money and go somewhere else

Luke warm pizza, lasagne is bland and cheap, presentation is awful and not worth the money spent on it so don’t waste a penny

Our first waiter was very friendly and he gave us very good service. Later we got, what seemed to be, a very inexperienced young girl who managed to smash our plate to the ground. After that she totally misunderstood our order and gave us four desserts instead of two.. But the pizza is great :D

My husband and I really enjoyed the all you can eat pizza, pasta and salad bar lunch. There were lots of pizza options, including multiple vegetarian which I was pleasantly surprised about. It was all fresh and the salad bar had lots of options. The soft drink package was also great with a lot of choices. We received great service here and although it became super busy the lady was still very polite and attentive to us. Highly recommend, great value!!

We popped in for a BBQ Americano pizza to share and few drinks on way home. Popped in for dinner. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Food and service was also great. One of the waitresses took a bit of time to explain the various meal deals which also saved us money on our order.

Fuimos para pedir una pizza para llevar, buena atención, incluso la chica que nos atendió era española y no solo facilitó todo sino que viendo nuestro pedido nos recomendó ofertas para que saliera mas barato mejor cantidad. Buen servicio, espera un poco larga pero imagino que por cantidad de gente pero se podía esperar sentado en una mesa sin problema, y pizza buena como suele ser Pizza Hut, además, pizzas pequeñas por 5 libras asi que muy bien para salir del paso y aun mas cuando estas en un apartamento cerca.

Called in here very busy, have to say staff where fantastic smiles even though its was extremely busy. Manager on shift on the Sunday night couldn’t do enough for us and still found time to be chatty. Some very RUDE customers who think to treat the staff like second class citizens is disgusting. When a place is busy expect to wait and have respect!! As for the Tap water consumption customers!! What a joke buy a bottle of water and don’t be so greasy. But still expect to be served with speed as after all they are only having Tap water. The staff can only put up with so much rude customers and that’s why it may come across as they are rude !! Next time give your Waiters waitress and Manger a bit of respect and humanity over all excellent place to visit fresh food great staff and excellent Edinburgh experience!!.

Despite our previous visits that service unpleasant, this time i found new staffs more welcoming and attentive. Pizza was lovely and they managed to serve it fast! Far better in compare to the past but still needs some improvement specially the toilet needs some facilities such as paper towel and soup

Hola, acabo de ir a esta cabaña de pizza, el servicio de comida era terrible, excelente comida, pero el servicio es una broma, estaba esperando siete minutos en la puerta, esperé a mi servidor como lo haces en Pizza Hut, que estaba parado allí haciendo algo hasta ignorarme, luego decidió ir a sentarse y luego dijo: oh, se supone que debes esperar, ¿cómo se supone que debo esperar durante siete minutos como un tronco mientras me ignoras? Su comportamiento general fue que de los clientes que no quiero que escuches, estaba comiendo mi entrante, luego él dijo: oh, deberías comer tu pizza, se calentará. Luego pregunta a todos cómo está la comida, luego me pregunta de manera agresiva como si me estuviera gritando. Sat near the door but it was very busy and that table was found for us within seconds, pizza was lovely, kids enjoyed the ice cream factory, however, the salad bar I thought was very poor as not alot of choice to be had, yes it was busy but they should allow for that, other than that I cant fault the staff nothing seemed to much for them.

This has to be the worst Pizza hut I've ever seen. First of all, either you wanna be seated or you have no idea where to order because there's no real desk for orders and payments. We wanted to take away so we wandered around looking for someone who could take our order. One helpful girl who was extremely busy promised to come back to us and take the order. After that she had to run around some more, since the place seemed to be seriously understaffed. Eventually we ordered, just to discover a while after that the type of dough we ordered had finished and we walked out empty handed. Luckily no one had remembered to take our payment, otherwise there would be another adventure with reimbursement. Complete chaos.

Après 4 minutes, il nous place... 2ème surprise, il leur manque 2 sortes de pizza et 1 bière !. Le buffet de salades fait peur, il manque plusieurs sortes, la salade verte n'est pas fraîche, les sauces à salade sont à moitié vides. La serveuse tire la gueule et parle mal aux clients et le jeune gérant est arrogant. C'est la 1ère fois que ça nous arrive dans un Pizza Hut.

We visited this restaurant on Tuesday 28th May, and were provided with very friendly service, despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy and there were not a lot of staff on!

The attendant is on the phone when we entered. We found a take and sat there, the attendant asked is to get up and wait for us to be seated. The entire store is empty, we got up waited and she competed her phone ignoring is completely and then asked us to seat in the same table we sat before. I thought that was just a formality in pizza hut but then when asked about the vegetarian buffet options she said, I don't know there should be some onions leaves and as we are bound to make veg pizza something should be there. We are taken aback and immediately vacated the premises. It is racist unprofessional and the worst service I ever got in a restaurant. Avoid at any cost. There are far better restaurants nearby.

We were a party of 3 adults and 3 children. We were given a table which accommodated us comfortably. The pizza was good and the salad bar was fine too. The kids loved the drink refills. There was a slight mistake with one item on our order but the waiter left the incorrect item and also supplied the correct one so that wasn't a problem. The staff we interacted with were all polite and friendly. A good experience.

No es un lugar al que vaya, pero recibí visitas y un niño pequeño cuyo favorito es Pizza Hut, ¿qué puede hacer usted? Sin embargo, la pizza era encantadora y el servicio amable. Aunque disfruté de mi comida, solo le he dado un 3 ya que el servicio era un poco lento y descuidado (estaban muy ocupados), el bar de ensaladas era un poco bajo y fuera de algunos artículos y el área frontal donde estábamos sentados se estaba congelando cada vez que se abría la puerta, por lo que el restaurante podría pensar en hacer algo al respecto, es un área grande y en una noche fría en Edimburgo, no muy cómodo.

During our stay in Edinburgh we ate twice at this Pizza Hut restaurant and enjoyed our meals both times. The salad bar area is kept very clean and the staff are friendly. Our pizzas arrived promptly and we were able to find some room for dessert :)

Just seen a member of staff at this store in tears whilst the manager completely ignored her, and then he told her to leave and not come back. She was clearly very busy and stressed yet he did not care. This is an appalling way to treat any person, and I definitely will not be back. I hope the women is okay, and that the manager sorts out his awful attitude.

The pizza was excellent with fresh good-quality very tasty ingredients. The salads were fresh and very tasty too. The staff was fast and friendly. Would totally recommend.

Went in here with the family for sons birthday treat, we waited 20 minutes to be seated despite the bottom half of the restaraunt being empty, when weakses why we couldnt sit there we were advised due to staffing shortages. By this time other potential diners had came in waited and left when no one approached to greet them. We would also have left if it wasn't for my son asking for a pizza hut for his birthday meal.

Took some young relatives to Edinburgh for Christmas market and went here for lunch because they live Pizza Hut. Out server was one of the best I have seen in years. I think her name was Shirley. She hustled around the place never stopping for a moment’s breath. She was friendly and kind to the little ones, taking a moment to stop and compliment one of girl’s singing. She dealt with everything with class and grace. Pizza Hut, this young lady is a shining example of getting it right.

Came in here last week for a bite to eat. Very busy and had a fair wait for my pizza although was offered (and accepted) a free refill of my drink while waiting so not too bad. Decent food at a reasonable price - what more can I say really?

Pooed in for a quick bite to eat an a quiet Tuesday lunchtime. Stood around for ages whilst being looked at by staff but ignored, when we were offered a seat after 10 minutes of no one coming to take our order we got up and helped out selves to the buffet and drinks. The buffet pizzas were between cold and warm. So we just had a couple of slices, paid and left.

We took all you can eat , 7,50 gbp for unlimited pizza , salad or pasta.decent food . Too expensive drinks tho

Se siete stufi di mangiare haggis, hamburger e fish and chips e vi manca il cibo italiano questa puo' essere una via di mezzo. La pizza normale non aveva una bella faccia, abbiamo preso la versione pan con pepperoni e tutto sommato non era male considerando il fatto che si e' in Scozia. Insieme alla pizza si ha accesso a un buffet con insalata, verdura, condimenti e nachos. Per £2.90 si ha il free refill di pepsi nella versione 'diet' di vari gusti. In due abbiamo speso sui venti pound per meta' pizza da condividere a testa (riempie) e da bere.

I needed a quick meal on the run. I found this location to be basically the same as the ones in the USA. It is decent food and the price is pretty good for Europe. The garlic bread was real good. The service was prompt and the servers were pleasant. I would say go, especially if you have the whole family to feed.

El servicio estaba bien, nos dejaron en nuestra mesa durante un tiempo considerable y tuvimos que acercarnos al personal de espera para tomar nuestra orden.

When returning from going down The Mile and up Calton Hill and passing so many high end and expensive places this looked very appealing. It did not look or feel like a traditional Pizza Hut. Most in Europe have an independent atmosphere and menu options.There was no line to get in even during Festival, but the place was very busy. The wait staff was efficient and attentive and was a student from the States and gave us pointers on how/when to visit Old Town. Their gluten free Pizza and pasta options were the best we had on this 3 week trip through GB and Ireland. The open salad bar was clean and fresh and the drink options were similar to a pub with good wine and beer selections. Great location, and priced like a pub and much lower than the 3-5 star neighbors in this part of town. Families were there and the way the dinning room was set up, everyone had a personal booth or wooden inclosure and felt private yet open.

We went at a very busy time and after a short wait were seated. The pizza was as usual at a Pizza Hut . Very busy place great service and food.

The food tasted okay and was brought out on time. The salad bar was the best part, as it had a lot of variety. Overall, it was a decent meal, but nothing exciting.

Nunca pensé que vería el día que me doy un Pizza Hut evaluación de 5 estrellas. Como vegetariano no he puesto mis pies en un Pizza Hut durante más de una década, pero ahora tienen un menú vegetariano en línea blog y sus restaurantes/stock de queso vegano. El servidor en esta rama era increíblemente servicial y es parte de la razón para una evaluación de 5 estrellas. Ella vegetarianos, ella nos ayudó a elegir opciones veganas y se aseguró que todo era vegetariano preparado. La pizza era preciosa - base y la fisura 4 coberturas elegí funcionó muy bien. Como una pizza individual son muy caros, pero de nuevo nuestro servidor recomendado una oferta que era muy razonable.
