Ben Nevis Takeaway in Highland

Very disappointed with my takeaway tonight won't be back and would not recommend such a shame used to be a lovely place.

Ordered a take away due to not been able to book a table somewhere. Asked for delivery to our hotel. £71.50 for a takeaway for 4 PEOPLE!! Just pizzas, fish and chips and 2 extra portion of chips. 3 bloody hours later and we were still waiting for the order, we tried calling but the phone was clearly off the hook. Food luke warm by the time it arrived but by that time I would of eaten my partners leg!! Driver scurried out and away with no apology. Absolute terrible service.......

Great service, very tasty pizza. Highly recommended and would use them again, if I was in Fort William.

Even though they were busy the staff couldn't have been nicer! Quick service, tasty food. Definitely recommend garlic bread as a side 👌

Ordered on just eat was missing juice and curry sauce, you get a very small bit of fish and a tiny amount of chips, pizza was burnt, they came back out with the juice and curry sauce a hour later this is a joke no wonder they have 2 star on here AVOID

went here and tried to order food to be told the firers were not hot somebody forgot to put them on was rather disappointed as it was dinner time and we were looking forward to eating we did order a pizza for our child and he did enjoy it as it was just a 12 inch cheese couldn't go wrong maybe glad we never got food after reading other reviews on here

Staff were lovely and very friendly. Food was average, nice enough. Lots of cheese on the pizza. Price not too bad for 2 of us. Good enough if you need to hit that spot

We ordered form here about 5 years ago and hated it back then, so really it's our own fault for going back.. But hey ho, we thought why not try one more time. I have actually never seen anything like this in my entire life. I ordered a “chicken kabab" and what came was something you would find on an opporation tray after just preforming a gall stone removal procedure. I first I thought to my self, "are they having a laugh".... But no, I was presented with an inch thick pizza base with over cooked rubbery chicken pieces planted on top. Anyway, the salad had no lettuce with it, the garlic mayo came by the gallon and the coleslaw tasted like it had been grated through an old rusty tennis racket. My conclusion is this.... One, a dinner lady was dragged in and forced to work just after laser eye surgery, or two, Carol C from rate my plate got a job here. The only good thing to be fair was the can of cherry tango....it was spot on.

Been ordering from you now and again for long now but compare 2008 and 2018 shop went from nice amazing food to terrible. Made order tonight for chicken kebab and by taste one bite and look at it I'm actually scared to eat it and made me no being hungry anymore it's absolutely disgusting how each time I order food it's getting worse and worse ...shame used to like this place thats my chicken kebab from tonight order :(

Refused to deliver to pur accommodation which was only 3 miles down the road from their location. Absolutely ridiculous. Get your act together.

I feel robbed. Without a doubt the worst chippy, actually the worst meal I’ve ever had. The fish was tiny (and cooked in dirty oil), the chips had obviously been sitting, the onion rings and the pakora were burnt. I’ve never left a review before but honestly, this place shouldn’t be selling food. Good fish and chips is not rocket science- you actually have to try, to be this bad!

went in for fish supper, a single fish, the supper had 10 chips the single fish was only a small half , paid £17 ,, waited half an hour as the cook was late in and the other staff could not do the cooking , never again

We had takeaway pizza, which was tasty and good value, and quick service. Does do delivery, but we drove there.

Won’t answer a phone order 9 times out of ten. Asked about this one time and the boy behind the counter said they were busy and only had two members of staff on shift (on a weekend may I add), also considering there were 4, not 2 people in the food prep area. If they were staff and not on shift they shouldn’t be behind the counter, or if they were on deliveries, they could at least help out if not put on a delivery. Constantly texting/on mobile phones while serving customers, chatting with friends and generally disinterested with paying customers. Not open half the time and not worth the hassle when they are open. The food is sub standard at best. Only really worth going for chips when cooking something and only use for convenience as on the same street as I live on. Pizzas are disgusting (avoid at all costs!!!), and the cleanliness has been questionable the past few times I’ve been in. (Muck and grime on the window sills and the floors don’t seem to be mopped on a regular basis). Would only go here if desperate now. Which is a shame because it was really quite nice a few years ago.

We arrived relatively early in the evening and had our order taken by a disinterested young lady. 10 minutes after our order was taken, she informed us that there was no fish for the children and none available for adults either. The choices for replacement were exceptionally limited and our food took a total of nearly 40 minutes to be ready. The chips were ok. Hot and well cooked. The nuggets were ordinary whilst the scampi was ok. Aside of not actually knowing what food was available to customers, it was the complete lack of customer service that irked me. There was very little apology and no real effort to actually rectify the situation. I had to explain to the young lady on the til how much refund she needed to give us for the lack of fish in my meal and the exchange for the children's chicken nuggets. I didn't have the option not to tick a circle but I wouldn't recommend this takeaway at all.

Los días de amable, Sammi,, feliz y hablador. Un chico trabaja duro pero seco ni sonrisas, en absoluto. La comida estaba recién hecha pero chips, producen en masa y sin sabor, y la pizza, no tan bueno como solían ser. Muy decepcionado, la reforma parece genial, pero necesita la comida y el personal parecía en algún tipo de formación en servicio al cliente. Estos días la gente tienen mucho donde elegir, y para conseguir el negocio, usted necesita estar ofreciendo la mejor comida y servicio.

Great fish and chips . No fancy food . Great good old fish suppers as I remember as a kid . The staff were very jovial and we're quick to take your order and was served in quick time . Thanks guys

Had chips and they must have been frozen before they were cooked as some of them were still cold. A bit disappointing. Friendly staff though

Después de un día en las colinas anticipaba pescado y patatas fritas en Fort William. Lo que una mala elección este lugar resultó ser. Realmente ha ido cuesta abajo. Después de esperar 17 minutos por 2 cenas de pescado que estaba esperando un pescado cocinado frescos y patatas fritas. Por desgracia las patatas fritas eran terribles - aunque preparado por que eran simplemente pálido y correosos. No tanto la mía para comer a pesar de haber sido muy hambrientos que podría haber comido un gato scabby. Los dos nos parecía tener una y media pedazos de pescado cada una. El bateador no era fresco y el media pieza de pescado seco y lúgubre. Mi marido piensa que esta pieza ya se habían preparado antes de la compras, así que no es de extrañar que estaba seco.

Pizza era de mala calidad. La base era duro y era más queso de salsa de pizza. Me pareció que tenía queso en no una pizza de tostadas. En las zonas donde había salsa de pizza era insípido. Me siento personalmente no me pareció o orgullo ser llevado a hacer de la pizza saliendo de sus hornos. Que no era el caso me siento hace unos años.

Pizza era el mejor que he tenido. Patatas fritas eran geniales, pero no mucha sal en ellos. Pero el gran inconveniente era que todos los niños corriendo la tienda música era muy ruidoso. Es una verdadera pena la comida es fantástica, pero los niños que me desanima..
