Ordered chicken pakora absolutely disgusting taken out of the freezer microwaved then deep fried inside chicken was dry and batter thich and inedible you get 3 could not eat one also my son wanted a king rib. It tasted like it came out of a hospital ward it tasted so weird a strange chemical taste son took 2 bites from it. I tasted it and it was binned. The chips were ok Would not recommend

Dried up burnt horrible kebab meat , I thought the first time was a one off but nope this is how they serve kebabs , 60% of it went in the bin. This place used to have amazing kebabs with juicy tender soft meat , what happened?

The worst service takes the most time

Have ordered for delivery a few times months ago. Was always more than a 2 hour wait staying less than a mile away and food was average. Ordered tonight after hearsay of faster delivery. We waited 2 hours had to phone to see where it was. Food was cold, cheese wasn't even melted on the stale chips and the driver was off his face

I ordered two spicy chicken cheese burgers but somehow as I opened the box after I got back to my hotel, they turned to just two chicken burgers...! What happend to the cheese...? And spicy sauce...? It was rainy, too many customers...I'm trying to understand but hope it won't happen to anyone else. And you have to pay just by cash in 2024.

Really tasty fish and chips with peas. The fish was absolutely delicious, made as I was waiting. And... portion was mega big!

Went yesterday! After some help in our choice, we ate fantastic pizza and kebab! Super friendly staff! Pay in cash but no stress. There is a vending machine behind the corner.

I had a nice doner kebab from here well The meat was good but for £9.00 I expected more but the salad was probably the worst salad I've had with a kebab..Lettuce and a tiny amount of onion..where were the tomatoes, cucumber red cabbage etc? and the pitta wasn't good either..had some chips which were very nice so If I ever come here again it'll be meat and chips..oh and the chilli sauce wasn't hot at all.

Its a shame I can't give a zero. Waited over 90 mins for order. Phoned back to be told I hadn't ordered. Then someone called Ada jumped on phone shouting at me blaming a poor new start. Then got told I couldn't have pizza cos they were shutting in 20 mins. Disgusting customer service. This Ada should be sacked. Will never recommend again.

Ordered food for delivery after 1hr I received a phone call saying my order would be 50 minutes so a 2hr wait for food they claim to be busy and there is traffic or if I collect it would be ready in 30 minutes Terrible service half the menu was missing i question the stadd how hard is it to slice some kebab meat and fry chips

Only part time take away I know of. Says he closes at 10 and closes at 9:20. Joke of a place. What take away closes 3 hours before any pub in there area. Extremely unsatisfying and went there today to make a verbal complaint and guess what!! It was closed this man works council hours

This was the best Hawaiian pizza I had in Scotland

Mixed kebab at £13 consisted of a few grilled favorless nits of chicken breast with no seasoning and about 5 long bits of donor meat. Over priced and nothing to it. Wouldn't recommend in any way.

Pizza was ok but chips were freezing cold

Ordered chicken pakora and chips. Chicken was like slime and no flavour.it cost £8.50 . Waste of money, would warn everyone to stay well clear

To pricey for the quality of food.

We are visiting Fort William for a holiday, donars sounded lovely. We weren't given any option for topping on the donars, only salad. Chips were sad, cold in the few minutes we took to get home. Donar meat wasn't greasy, but dry and cold. Pretty disappointed on what we got. For 25£ it's overpriced.

Cheese burger over cooked, chips cold

Used to be great! Used to be a abis loyalist. But always mess up orders nowadays or cold when you get it, never consistent, sad when the coleslaw is the best thing on a takeaway menu, away to go make some cheese on toast for dinner now I suppose

Disgusting fish and chips. Staff are rude and treated us like turds. My stomach was not good for 48 hours after. Cash only business.

Best pizza place in town, great choice of toppings and sizes! We grabbed a takeaway to eat in our camper, easy kerbside customer parking was a huge benefit in the rain!

The fish supper was excellent and I'd recommend it to anyone. Pro tip: it was cash only when I visited, so be aware. Pro tip 2: the fish supper was cooked to order, so you'll be waiting 15-20 minutes, but it's worth it.

Worst chip shop we've ever experienced, chips were cold and funny taste definitely won't be back

My wife and kids were in for takeaway after a trek up ben nevis. So delighted to find this place that was actually open. First class customer service was received by my my wife and kids, they even popped in a little tub as a treat for our dogs as well as a couple of other freebies. So nice and pleasant and the fish and chips were fantastic also. Thanks very much!

Great service! Lovely food and the staff were so nice to cook the food in a separate oil to meet out dietary requirements!!! Would recommend going if your coming up to climb Ben Nevis! Only down side I wish the had a sit down area! Ps the spicy sauce was sooo good!!! Don’t forget to get it!

We decided 2 come here for our dinner, a wee treat, as we have been here b4 and always usually good, we decided to arrive at 10 minutes b4 opening time, to ensure we got the first batch of freshly cooked chips, very disappointed to see that we actually got the day befores refrys, absolutely disgusting,

Absolutely awful! £12.50 for a burnt fish and toenail chips from the bottom of the fryer. My partner just had chips, £4.00 for a very average sized portion of the same toenail clippings. Disgusting, most of it went in the bin. Add to this the inconvenience of having to leave the shop to find a cash machine as they don’t even offer payment by card. Big no and never again from me!!

Great carryout, good fish supper. As we live nearby we simply went and ordered. For freshly cooked - which took time, but well worth it

The pizza's were absolutely great! Good base, crispy crust, tasty tomato sauce, loads of cheese. The pizzas tasted freshly made. What more could you want from a pizza!

Not greasy and heavy. Pizza was fluffy and so filling. Will definitely be back 👍

We must of picked the wrong day to go here as we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for the food and when got back to our accommodation the some of the chips weren't cooked through properly and the pizza that we shared was quite tasteless as it hardly had any tomato topping on it . We will try them again in September and hope that it was a one off and see what it's like . I will review again then and hopefully it will be a good review next time .

We didn't end up eating here as everything we was asking for they was saying would be at least a 20 min wait. That's not good when time is limited for us so can't comment on how good their food is as we wasn't prepared to wait so long. Not very good fast food takeaway in our opinion LoL. #YorkshiresFinestPair

Staying in Fort William, we wanted a Fish Supper. We ordered it on line. When we collected it the fish was beautifully cooked with crisp batter, and delicious chips. Definitely highly recommended

Good quick service, real good food and all at a good price

One of The worst kebabs I have ever had, the meat was dry, cheap plastic meat. Chucked in a box with a stale undercooked pita thrown on the top. Was that inedible that Threw most of it out the hotel window for the seagulls to eat

The kebab was a joke. Meat was dumped in a box with the bread on top. Salad in a seperate box.... d.i.y. kebab :( Chips were not fried well, more like warmed up tatties. The fish was tasteless, and the cheese burger too fatty. The white pudding was the only decent item out of an order for £ 33. Was not worth £3 ! Feel cheated. Even the seagulls at the harbour refused to eat the chips. A sad excuse for a " traditional chippy"

Really not impressed. Full of grease to the point it was running of my food. Staff where rude and didn't seem to know what they where doing with anyone's orders Only thing that was nice was the chips and cheese

Absolutely shocking, we had ordered food witch we then received after 20 minutes (warm), there was no taste whatsoever throughout eating, definitely going to Morrisons next time.

Worst tasting and most expensive kebab I have ever had.

Food was good. Hearty portions. Not sure what is the difference between single portion and supper portion, but the single portion was already too much for me. Ordered online so that I could pay with cards. The process was lengthy, perhaps because I did not want to set up an account, but just checking out as a guest. Although it suggested that my order would be ready in 45 minutes, I headed down to the shop. They got it ready for me in 15 min.

Probably the worst pizza I have ever had, Soggy oily and with a burnt cheese and kebab taste. Paid for each of the extra topping, and half were missing. Absolutely zero value for £26 I paid.

Got Turkish pizza soggy in the middle kebab meat burnt sauce is rank rotten was supposed to be a 12 inch prob a 10 inch with a 2 inch dry crust heres the photo of whats left and yes I did pick the kebab meat out was finished work and starving.....

Service was good but got home to a disappointing dinner. A sad 'meat feast' pizza with a few wee pieces of pepperoni and some sliced sausage all chucked on at one end. Save your money.

We are disappointed. We have used Abis for over 20 years. I feel the meat quantity has massively decreased over the last 6 months. The last few kebabs have had burnt meat. The standard has dropped for the price.

Tried Abi's after a suggestion from a friend. Two visits so far, first one was a spicy chicken, jalapeños and mushroom pizza and a mighty meaty pizza. Being the first pizza from this area I was open minded. Whilst looking about I was comparing prices of the menu to other places I visit. You can see busy staff making fresh pizza ( The pizza I had was perfect and the crust was spot on) I've travelled most of the UK, and yes I will add this take away to my stop off list as the special fish supper was just amazing taste, and spot on portion size, chips done spot on, the slice of lemon and pot of mushy peas was lovely extra. Thank you staff at Abi's for 2 perfectly cooked and tasty meals. We will be returning Again.

Absolutely shocking food, ordered a chicken breast supper, a doner kebab with chips and salad, waited 2 hrs for delivery. A chicken leg arrived with no chips and the grease from the kebab was seeping through the bags, couldn't eat it!!!

Abi's food is always good unless he runs out of doner meat but a bustling busy takeaway and it's that way because of how good it is. Thankyou to Abi and the staff for good efficient service for many years now I have being going to his takeaways thankyou guys Suzie

Stopped off here on a wet, dark, Sunday evening and were served Fish Suppers within around 15 minutes of ordering, with large portions and quality food. Additionally, after driving further north for two hours we remembered we had left a valuable box of bike kit in the car park near the takeaway. This was nothing to do with Abi’s, but when I reached out for help they were brilliant and ventured outside to look for the box and kept it safe for me until a friend picked it up. They went above and beyond! We will be making a point of returning here for another order very soon!!

I really enjoyed the burgers and good kebab

Abby is been among us since forever and never disappoint us. For kebabs is the best in town, but you have to try the calzone or the pizzas. The curry sauce for the chips is outstanding.

Only place in fort William that sells a kebab so not much choice apart from here. Although we got a pizza. I've found the service inconsistent when visiting here. More often than not waited alot longer than was told. My final visit we ordered 2 pizzas one was a spicy chicken the other a kebab pizza with extra kebab meat. When we received it the spicy chicken was perfect but the kebab one just had cheese on it. Luckily we checked when in the car before we drove home. Took it back in and the boy said he had just realised he hadn't put the kebab meat on it when we walked back in. No apology and he just dumped some kebab meat on top. No offer of a fresh one or slightly discounted due to the fact it was now a cheese pizza with extra kebab meat on top and not a kebab pizza with extra kebab meat on top. Although the food is ok I would like to see a bit more service from them and realistic wait times. I'm happy to wait an hour as long as you tell me.

Ridiculous service. Ordered at 6:48, phoned at 9 to check it was definitely coming, they said it was on the way. Phoned again at 9:30, they said it was on the way. Phoned at 10:00 they said "it's too late now, nothing we can do". I have a confirmation email of the order and have been charged. Waiting 3 hours for nothing. Would've ordered elsewhere if we weren't repeatedly told it was on the way!!

Google timings and address for this place are not accurate, we've managed to find it (on Middle street) but it's shut, 7.45pm on a Tuesday.

Ordered two meals (mixed grill and chicken selects supper) at 6.05pm on a Sunday night. Order never arrived until 9.15pm, £12 for my mixed kebab and never came with any pitta or Nan bread, just some chicken and donner kebab

asked for a doner burger and told me they had no doner left then 5mins later started serving people doner kebabs, so asked for a chese burger and it came with no cheese on it and they also forgot our curry sauce.

For the price it cost for a chicken kebab it was a rip off, 4 pieces of chicken rattling around in a Styrofoam box. What made it worse was waiting 40mins for a meal that wouldn't satisfy a child.

Ordered online, was told 30 minutes to come and collect. After arriving bang on 30 minutes, I was told my order would be another 5 minutes. 15 minutes later and finally get my "food" I'm glad I paid an additional 1.50 for the most pathetic "extra" portion of donner meat. Which was black and turned to charcoal at the edges. You'd think it would be impossible to burn something, yet the dough on the pizza still be raw... Nope! Let's not even talk about the chips, they were stone cold in the 5 minute journey home. I wasn't asked if I wanted salt or vinegar, So not only cold, but tasteless

£31.50 for 2 mixed Donna 2 fries 2cans of pop. Had to make the Donna myself give it a miss p.s still hungry

What kind of kebab shop shuts at 9pm. I’d love to be able to write a review but it’s physically impossible.

20 minute wait for pakora - place was pretty busy tbf. Pakora itself wasn’t great. Batter was the same kind you’d find on a bit of fried fish, and had to request sauce as none was provided. Went in for a mixed kebab and was told there’d be a 40 minute wait. Maybe that’s normal? But I regret not going to the Chinese down the road. No reply needed. Thanks.

Nice pizza, wasn't a fan of the chips as they were a bit hard or the onion rings as they were a bit greasy.

Had a big mixed kebab...was extortionate tbh for how much meat was in it, half the box was full of chips which I didn't want or ask for. But what was there was very tasty and the salad was really nice and fresh.

Usually very good but was extremely busy on last visit, seemed chaotic and like no one was in charge. Our food was cold due to mistake. Look forward to going back when less busy and I am sure they will be back to their best.

If you love large portions, this is for you.

Rubbish fish n chips we had last week, It didn’t looked right, was looking like a left over fish. Not Edible at all. So I throw it to the birds, they loved it though😁very unhappy customer 👎

Had a large doner kebab. It came with delicious garlic sauce. Unfortunately the doner meat was so dry that it was like eating cardboard. The chips were nice though. They ran out of pizza base due to being so busy so no calzones or pizza were available

Quick service. But the pizzas we ordered were well below expectations. We stopped by for a quick break on our way to Yorkshire from Scottish Highlands. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Freshly prepared good quality food!

We were reluctant to buy the food after reading the reviews. We ordered the large donner kebab and scampi and chips. The Donner kebab was scrumptious! It was served with coleslaw, salad, pitta bread and their home made chilli sauce! It was awesome!

Disappointed to say the least by the rude young man at the counter this evening. Checked online for open places and it seemed this place was open until 9pm. However arriving 20 minutes before this time the gentleman behind the till area muttered "Oh, for f$%# sake" as me and my colleague walked in, then after a few seconds simply said "we're closed!". Now, if I had broken in through a locked door or pulled a shutter up myself I could understand his frustration but if the door is wide open and the website clearly states you are open til 9pm then you shouldn't be moaning when customers walk in before this time. I would suggest locking the door in future to prevent customers trying to enter. Couldn't tell you if the food was good as we took our business elsewhere, if I ever want to feel like I'm in the wrong in future, I'll just visit my parents. Definitely won't be back.

Waited too long for food outside. No normal waiting area

Sadly it is not what it used to be. They had better food and service in the last few years. My last two orders had been a disappointment. Besides the lower quality, the service is not great, the time appreciation for the order is far from reality. I had to wait more than 15 minutes over, plus when I got home, there was a missing food portion and a salad. I got extra hot sauces that I specifically mentioned that I don’t eat or need. Sad to see that Abis’s is going down. 😞

Ordered mix kebab that was supposed to have a mix of chicken and lamb shish, chicken and lamb doner but all I had was the Doner. Never again
