Food was reasonably priced, came quite quickly. I had the loaded chilli dog. Mrs had the soup. Food was good 👍

Absolutely disgusting. The lady that served me on till was rude, I ordered a wrap and she went to payment and I said I would like chips as well so then she didn’t know how to cancel it and said can you just pay for that then I’ll do your chips on another payment didn’t say please or thank you then when I was waiting for her to give me a beeper she stared at me like I’m an alien then said is it to takeaway I said yes then she shu-Ed me away with her hand like I’m an animal or something I then watched her go straight from the till to making my wrap didn’t wash her hand or wear gloves, didn’t eat my wrap as I felt sick due to the amount of germs that were probably on her hands and chips were sweaty so don’t go here xx

Absolutely fantastic place for a quick lunch. Really tasty food. My son had the loaded hotdog which was delicious. I had the baked potato with cheese and beans. I asked if I could have jalapeños with my baked potato and I did at no extra cost. Brilliant service, very clean, short wait time, very good value for money. We will definitely be back as there is a lot of good things on the menu.

Stopped here for ice cream and fries. The fries were absolutely delicious. Service was quick and the server was very friendly

Had food in the esgate today with loch and larder. Staff were rude especially dark haired staff member in yellow top. Unsure how they get any custom with the attitude she approaches people with. The food was great on previous visit however, this visit was very poor. “Loaded” hot dogs were without any sauce in them and meat tasted cheap. The macaroni was very dry and could not eat this. Tried to approach the above staff member regarding the lack of sauce etc on hotdogs but got met with rudeness and un willingness to help. Would not recommend at all. Very poor experience.

Ordered food had receipt in hand they messed up my order and member off staff said I never ordered pizza when it said it in my receipt they gave me a nasty comment so I walked away watched my family eat while I sat with nothing disgusting avoid at all costs

We were really excited having seen their Mexican offers on socials, to find no reference to them around the premises, or on the app, however there were tv screens advertising Mexican but with no meal listings. When we went to the till I asked the staff who then turned a sign to face the right way! In general the food was tasty and great portion size, however the burrito was luke warm at best. There have been changes recently that have benefited the customer to understand how it all works and reduce their prices but still along way to go as I watched many customers still have no idea where to order. Would benefit from a team on the floor amongst other things such as advertising offers.

It’s not good for anything, the price is high for the quality you get. I attached a photo showing how terrible the food is.

Just had lunch here with wife and 2 children. They have an offer on half term where kids eat for free so the 4 of us only cost £13 with drinks for the kids! Food was great, my hot dog and chips was delicious.

We stopped here during a shopping trip to Inverness , as we thought it would be good place to get a quick bite to eat and we were keen to try out the new catering establishment. However after our visit and then reading the online reviews when we got home it felt like we had visited a totally different place . ( although it is strange that all the reviews , with glowing 5 stars, were all posted in Sept 2023 and 3 people have never posted any other reviews before.) Although there are several different booths offering a range of menus , it is in fact just one large kitchen behind that cooks all the orders. There were no members of staff to be seen so we walked along all the booths looking at the menus on the wall screens. Eventually a member of staff came out drinking a cup of tea , and said oh don't look at those, they are all out of date you have to read the menus on the table. We did this and went back to the booth to order , to be told you can't order here you have to go down to the till at the end and pay. He then went to give us a buzzer that would tell us our meal was ready , except it didn't work. He tried another 3 before he realised that they had not been plugged in to charge so none of them worked. Anyway order place we sat down and the staff member disappeared out the back, and we waited we watched several people come to the counter waiting to be served but as no'one appeared they left .Later four staff turned up behind the counter all drinking tea and chatting and totally ignoring people that came up .After about 20 minutes someone wandered out and put one dish under a heat lamp and left. It took another 5 minutes before the other meal arrived and they buzzed us to collect.The meals are served in plastic trays and bowls and my husbands southern fried chicken was three tiny strips no bigger than a fish finger, bearing not resemblance to those on counter display or on the large advertising board. My salmon coquettes were larger and tasted great, however they were served on top of a lovely salad in a tiny bowl which proved impossible to get at. Luckily the tray they were served on had a paper lining and in the end I emptied my meal on the tray to eat it. The portions aren't big , and two meals with two soft drinks cost £25 so not a cheap lunch either. There just seemed to be loads of staff wandering around in the kitchen and behind the counter doing nothing, that they must be losing so much money . What was really sad was seeing the food hall on a Saturday afternoon empty , there were just two other tables full and one of those was a family with kids sharing a tiny pizza . Used to go there with the old food outlets and there were always queues out the door and you struggled to get a table. Eastgate have got it so wrong with the new options, and we won't be returning.

Very disappointed with our experience. First of all the QR code wasn't working, alot of tables were sitting with rubbish etc on them. Food took half an hour from being ordered to being ready, staff were apologetic for the delay and I get there's not much they can do themselves about it given there were only 2 on front of house. The food itself was probably best described as poor, there was very little flavour and the chicken was black in places, the dirty chips were really bland as well. All in all a pretty poor experience all round and very disappointing.

Extremely long await. Not much employee to take care of customers. For on the go food it is not acceptable to wait 40 mns and say "we do not have your oders". Food is OK though.

More than 50min wait for 2 fish & chips

Ordered pizza and quiche and the food was spot on. It was made from fresh ingredients and was hot and tasty. Service was also perfect and for the price, there are absolutely no complaints at all. Thank you

Service has been downgraded and given the prices now charged you should expect a lot better.

I was really impressed with the Loch and Larder at Eastgate Shopping Centre, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the quality of the food is absolutely excellent! The breakfast roll I had was delicious and the server was so helpful and friendly, to be honest the customer service as a whole was really good and overall it was an enjoyable family brunch! Happy and full tummies all round ! The new soft play is also a great addition!

Lots of potential, shame about the price for food that wouldn't look out of place in a builder's break room But great location, and no issues with the taist

My 3rd visit and the best yet! No more queuing. Now you can grab a table, scan a QR code, order what you want and get it delivered! The range of cuisines is great, from trad Scottish to BBQ, chicken and pizza. I can personally recommend the fish tacos and the burnt ends, although probably not at the same time, but why not! Well worth a visit if you find yourself with time to kill in the Eastgate shopping centre or generally in Inverness.

I stumbled across this place whilst up in Inverness for a couple of days for work. Stopped in for coffee but after looking at the menus on offer decided to upgrade to lunch. I opted for the chicken burger which is honestly one of the best I’ve had. Service was very friendly and the food was quick. Very reasonably priced for the quality. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Absolutely fantastic food and excellent value for money. This Garlic bread with cheese cost only £3.95 and was hot, freshly cooked and delicious. Shout out to the tall guy with the beard who served me, incredible service and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who fancies a well made pizza at a price that's very affordable with friendly, accommodating service.

Extremely long wait. Confusion behind the counter as to where orders were going, no organisation. Our order was sent to another table to be returned and handed straight to us. We asked for fresh chips at least and was told to wait another 5 minutes. Expensive for a takeaway. Won't be returning in a hurry

Good location with a variety of different cuisines. Spoke to the head chef here and was recommended "the fish tacos 🌮 " he was right I highly recommend this. Its not too heavy on the stomach and all ingredients are fresh with a modern twist. Perfect for a light snack 😋

Went for the first time with my daughter, she wanted to order from Cluck and I fancied something from Ness n Korma, my daughter ordered hers and I stood at the Ness n Korma counter and was completely ignored, chefs noticed me and said nothing, customers who came after me to Cluck got served and I was still ignored, I spoke to a member of staff who just shrugged her shoulders. I won't be back!

Got 2 ice-cream cones at Sweet Ness, one had a small but acceptable scoop of ice-cream while the second cone had what was maybe a third of a small scoop balanced on top of the cone. The girl who served us seemed very nervous and uncomfortable having to scoop the ice-cream. Got the impression she'd not been shown properly how to do it or how much a portion size is meant to be. Do not recommend and will not be returning, felt really ripped off with what we got for the price we paid. The food court was definitely much better before with a wider variety of food options and more enjoyable food chain restaurants. Don't like what they have done to the place at all. There always used to be a busy happy hum of people at lunch time in a full to capacity food court at lunch time, now the whole place has a sad vacant feeling.

Visited the Loch & Larder (Ness n Korma) at the Eastgate Shopping Centre Inverness. Excellent Indian street food. Wasn’t hopeful when we ordered but the taste is great. Keep up the good work guys👍🏻

The chicken (what I had) was nice and enjoyable although they didn't ask if I wanted salt on my chips and then coated them with salt allround good meal

Went there twice first time got a pizza it was amazing tried the chicken place got a burger nowhere near my expectations burger was cold wasn't given chips got charged another £2.99 for chips woman touched the register and didn't wear gloves or wash her hands will come back for the pizza.

My wife and I visited during the afternoon. My wife and fish and chips, I had a pizza and a tikka wrap. Service was courteous and the food arrived quickly. We were both very impressed. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her fish and chips, and the tartare sauce was a stand out item on the plate. I had the meat pizza which was delicious - lots of toppings and the dough was light. The tikka wrap really stood out for me. It was packed with filling and full of flavour. I'm already dreaming of my next one! Also a special mention for Sweet Ness where my wife got a chocolate brownie milkshake, which was pure delightful indulgence! The atrium in the Eastgate has been done out nicely and the new seating is comfortable. They also operate on a loyalty card basis: Basically if you get a meal from each of the four food stations you get a meal free, which is a nice touch indeed - I'm 3/4 of the way to a free meal in just one visit!
