Pizza Express in Highland

The cooking time and delivery time were fine however everything is cold, not just warm like freezing cold which makes me wonder why, the delivery driver parks half way up our street then my partner has to go and get it from him while on the dog walk, seriously disappointed given the price they charge, will never order here again or even reccomend! Shocking. Genuinely disappointed

Solo visit. Friendly staff and food upto usual standard. Manager kindly sent me away with a big slice of cake that would otherwise have gone to waste. Nice!

Cold tough pizza, crispy potatoes were a complete joke, hardly enough to cover the bottom of the box and soggy. We'll never be ordering again, lesson learned.

I have ordered a menu, when I go to pay, I see that they had charged me for everything separately. Because? Because the waitress never told me that the pizza I wanted was not included on the menu. Too expensive for what it is.

I never received my order you still owe me a full refund and I am deleting my account and the app

Arrived a minute or two before 8. Was told they don’t take food orders after 8! Wonder if their senior management know this? Took my business elsewhere.

Update we arrived looking forward to a nice experience, but alas 1130 opening time is advisory. We sat outside a locked door waiting for 20mins while the staff pottered around inside. After 10mins we tried the door one staff member made eye contact then carried on pottering around. Looks like the staff within need to up their customer satisfaction skills and check timings on the apps linked to pizza express. Lovely location in the centre of Inverness, we got there early so was nice and quiet but be aware can be extremely busy and the wait can be sometime. The staff are polite and prompt.

We had a table booked for 18 people. Despite the large group, our order was taken effortlessly. Reece, our waiter took orders for our drinks first, allowing us time to choose our mains but without any further delay. He was efficient, helpful and polite. Nothing was too much for him - he made changes to the dishes to our liking (having a halal diet meant we were already limited in our choice), advised me on the kids menu for my 11 year old son and always served us with a smile. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Although we had a large group, the kitchen and staff were not overwhelmed. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

The food was lovely. It was a nice evening so we opted to sit outside with my 13yr old and 20mth granddaughter everything was enjoyable untill a man on the next table lit his cigar !. I had no idea this was allowed in Scotland we live in Kent so glad I had finished my pizza ,shame the children had to endure the smoke tho .

Menu said enough for 4 people and it wasn’t. Also added extras which didn’t taste good and were cold.

Pizza arrived barely warm. Wasn't that great a taste and is very thin for the price. The halloumi bites were very soft even though it said they were crispy and the marinara sauce was watery. Not even worth the bundle price when 40% off.

Waited 30 minutes at a table until we just gave up and went somewhere else. No one even brought a menu. Yes, it was busy, but only because they didn't have enough staff on.

ordered a 15 pound salad was barely filled no anchovies no croutons half the ingredients paied for werent there.

I did not arrive here as a customer but a parent and child in need. After a late bus to replace a canceled train my phone was dead with nowhere to charge it I approached the side service window spoke to a nice employee i explained the situation and that I needed my phone charged to find and access our accommodation for the night. He gladly put my phone on charge and told me to take my daughter inside for a glass of water. I took my 10 yo daughter inside and sat down where I was approached by the manager and told I needed to be seated by someone. so I then explained everything to him but in a very rude Manor the manager told me they could not allow that and walked off to scold his helpful employee. He then returned to me with my phone and asked us to leave.... this heartless man was lucky I didn't swing for him infront of my daughter but we left and eventually found somewhere to get charged to get into our accommodation ready to take my daughter for surgery in the morning

Great chain, fantastic pizzas and nice staff. Went here for lunch and got a table straight away :) would love to come back!

Very enjoyable meal indeed. Lovely staff. Closest pay at meter parking available at Morrisons, so didn't need to walk too far.

They accidently got my calzone order wrong, however this was resolved and my correct fresh one was out within minutes! The ladies who served me were so lovely and helpful. Some of the best customer service I've ever recieved as it actually felt genuine. They deserve a raise 👏

This has nothing at all to do with Express. We had to wait 45 minutes in the noisy restaurant and in return we received greasy, soggy pizzas and that's supposed to be Romana style! The waiter then topped everything by sprinkling hand-pickled tomatoes and parsley over the pizza and then serving it to us. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all. PizzaExpress never again!

We have eaten very well, we are three senior couples and Belén has served us in an exceptional way. Totally recommended for the quality of the food and the staff that serves you.

Pathetic service, well lack of. There were a ton of tables free yet I was told there are no tables. As a gold member that is the least you would expect that you can get a single pizza, for a single person. No problem though, will never be coming back to the place.

Had a great meal here today for our daughters 5th birthday. Prior to our arrival we had to alter our reservation time and this was no problem at all. Food was excellent and enjoyed by everyone. Service was perfect. When we arrived our daughter had casually mentioned that it was her birthday. To our surprise at the end of the meal, the waiting team sang happy birthday and they had a brownie with a candle for our daughter to blow out. Big credit to Victoria who was looking after our table. She went above and beyond and made our wee girl very happy on her birthday!

Missing items from the order at delivery and restaurant had no interest in replacing them. Called the restaurant and was lied to about just-eat reissuing order for the missing items, just-eat 'review refund for seven days'. Happens too often. Always left unsatisfied with less than the whole order being delivered.

Sauces are missing from our starters and no dressing on ceaser salad!! Pizzas are lukewarm/cold / really disappointing

Our past visits to Inverness we always walked up and ate here, had a great experience with great food so we were disappointed when we showed up early this evening and were told they were fully booked for the remainder of the night and we couldn’t get a table inside or outside and we could not get take outs/to go either. It just seemed strange that we couldn’t even wait and get a pizza to go. It says on Google they do to go orders? Oh well.

Delicious food, very, very nice service, good service, but unfortunately a bit noisy inside and often very full (didn't make a reservation on the first day and couldn't get a seat, on the second day we made a reservation and got a seat, but those in front of us were still eating)

Turned up at 8.30pm They wouldn’t take a sit in meal for two as we’re closing. Would only accept takeaway order 10 more people arrived while we sat and waited - all wanting to use restaurant Manager couldn’t care a less Sad indictment of hospitality industry not caring about customer first It wasn’t midnight !

Glad that we chose Pizza Express Inverness for our lunch once we stepped in INV last month. This place seems like always booked out, luckily one last spot walk in for us. Prawn Entree was cracking! Tasted so fresh and delicious, Nicoise Salad was so yum and Pizza was very yummy too! That open kitchen and cleanliness marked the top notch of everything. After a very tiring trip from London to Inverness, Pizza Express Inverness is the one that made our Inverness culinary trip memorable.

Chill and friendly environment with a great menu. Perfect for families, friends, or just a night out by yourself. Our waitress, Vie, was incredible. Made our visit both welcoming and entertaining. Will be sure to come again!

Our service was INCREDIBLE we had such a lovely waiter Vie who not only helped us with their member, made some incredible recommendations but also helped us to get a bit of money off on our total via the app!

I visited the Inverness restaurant with my wife and two daughters on the evening of 30 May. We have visited this restaurant on plenty of occasions as we live local. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy though people were leaving and coming in for bookings as normal. On this occasion and for the first time, our meal was dreadful. By the time my starter arrived, my wife and daughters had finished their starter so I explained to the waitress that I did not want this to happen when the main meals arrived. Our four pizzas did all arrive together but three of them were absolutely stone cold. My wife asked me not to say anything to the waitress so I didn’t. On leaving, the deputy manageress explained without being prompted that there were issues that night and she would do something for us on our next visit. Needless to say, we won’t be back. I am being asked to recommend items as part of this review but I wouldn’t recommend anything that comes absolutely stone cold. Avoid.

Vie was an absolutely amazing waitress and food was fab!

Although the food was great, it was disappointing to have felt racially discriminated within this pizza express branch. I came to collect some pizza around 6.30pm. There were a white-English couple behind me waiting to be served. Sadly, the waitress failed to acknowledge me at all, no eye contact and decided to speak to the couple behind me. After taking the couple to the table, the waitress began to serve the other tables whilst I stood there. The waitress then returned, walked past me to go outside and seemed to talk to other customers. At that point I felt I should announce to the waitress that I was waiting to be served and to collect my pizza. The food otherwise was great all though I had to wait for a bit which I don’t mind, as I prefer food freshly prepared. The only thing which has annoyed me is to have felt a second class citizen within this branch. I am not sure whether this was a subconscious or conscious bias to non-white individuals. I would recommend to have staff in this branch to undergo ethical and diversity training.

Literally missed the whole order bar the pasta and are doing nothing to rectify it, have told me to just make a refund request and order again, I don’t have money for that now four of us have 1 pasta to share! Shockong

Well done today team , we were greeted by the lady on the door, she explained they had a wait on food , no problem to us , in no hurry. Unfortunately, they had staff illness and had to struggle with limited team members, I'm in the f&b business myself and run restaurants with only 2 staff members, so I totally understand their frustration. The team coped well and everyone git their food, but it was totally delicious. Well done, you all smashed it xx

We turned up as walk ins and were found a table quickly. The food was as expected from a chain although our dough balls were burnt and stuck to the bottom of the dish. The staff could've been a bit more attentive, but overall were pretty good. The meal was quite expensive for what it is, which was disappointing

Went with wife and daughter because my daughter loves the pizza there. We didn’t have a booking that i understood, but if you fully booked why let the guy infront of us without booking get a table and show us away because no booking. If it’s good for the goose then it’s good for the gander, if you fully booked then show everyone without a booking away. Don’t just allow the 1 guy in and show a family of 3 away. That just made my mind up to never eat there again.

Came with friends for my birthday for dinner using the 50% off pizza vouchers on the back of the supermarket pizza boxes - we all had a lovely time, brilliant food and lovely ambience 🍕 Then came a few days later for National Pizza Day wearing stripes, bagged a free Classic Margherita!?! 🤩 lovely staff as always and quality food!

This restaurant is really good, great food and venue. The waiters (especially our waiters, Reece and Flory? , the girl with the red painted hair) are very nice😀 And the cook did a very great job! We realy recommend this place!!! Greetings from the Netherlands.

Awesome pizzas! Always busy, prebooking recommended. A bit more expensive, but worth it. Atmosphere is better when its less busy due to less noise and staff needing to run less.

Usually the food from Pizza Express is always amazing, but this time, the pizza was a bit burnt and cold, which was disappointing. The tiramisu was delicious as always! The delivery was quick but driver did not follow my instructions and did ring the door bell.

Food at Pizza Express is always pretty good. But service is always slow. It may just be the times we visit and it's something to do with shift changes. After the refurbishment of the Inverness branch, it's lost some charm.

No pesto with the pesto dough balls and pizza has no taste

Food did not turn up although it said on my account it had been delivered so basically took my money and didn't deliver the goods then lied about it? Had to contact the restaurant direct who could not get in touch with just eat and had to go down and collect the food myself by which time the food was cold so a total disaster all round. Very disappointed with a fractured organisation on this occasion as have had good experiences with your company in the past. I would appreciate some feedback and a refund of the delivery charge at the very least.

This was actually the first time I had been to Pizza express since 2018! The food was ok but it was much pricier than I remember. The calzone was good but a withering rocket salad on the side look poor. The kids 3 courses for £7.95 was fine and looked good. I won't be rushing back.

Driver ran away down the lane as she heard a dog bark. Had to chase her to get my pizzas!

Food was ice cold when it arrived. Was missing a large pizza but driver couldn't speak enough English to understand the receipt said 4 pizzas but he only had 3. Called the restaurant and they told me it's Just Eats responsibility not there's. Still not been refunded for the pizza or contacted as Just Eat sent the ticket to the restaurant.

We had a really lovely meal tonight for my daughters birthday. The waitress was amazing!!! Very cheerful and helpful. She did everything she could to make it go well including getting my Pizza Express app to work properly so I benefited from rewards.

Served by an amazing server called jessica, service was incredible and food was amazing and so tasty and the place had an amazing atmosphere. the manager was extremely kind to give us a discount as we didn’t have money to pay for the food. Would 100000% recommend.

Dissapointing as one pizza was missing from order .. attempted to phone number on receipt and restaurant but was unable to speak to anyone. Food quality and arrival time was good but we would be anxious ordering again given one major item was missing from our delivery.

We aten een Beetroot Bhudda met een Rainbow slaw die zeer smakelijk en gevarieerd was en vegan. De gezellige serveerster Flory had best even tijd om een leuk praatje te hebben met ons.

Pizza had one cheery tomato and basically what look like 1 tbsp of sauce stretch out , mostly dough. Will not order again.

The driver didn't speak good English, got lost, called me, the phone signal was terrible and cut out. When he finally arrived, I had to reheat the food, it was cold.
