Pizza Express in Highland

The restaurant is very good in a good area, they served us very quickly, about 10 minutes wait at most and the food was delicious, I didn't expect it to be so good

Missing item - I ordered three pizzas and two bruschettas but only received one of the bruschettas which was disappointing. I’m awaiting a refund for the missing item on the order.

Review of lunchtime sitting, and probably the best time in a pizza express. It wasn’t overly busy, and that can often lead to lapses but not today. Cat was serving us and was excellent, very personable and attentive. We will be back, thank you.

Cat was excellent and served us promptly and was friendly. She kept us right with vouchers etc and made sure we got the best deal. Would return and request Cat to serve us if she was here.

I ordered from pizza express and it took near enough 2 hours to get here, when I phoned in to ask what’s was up and why it was taking so long, the guy that picked up was unnecessarily rude and then proceeded to hang up on me. least to say I’m really not impressed

Had dinner in the inverness branch and was served by Cat. She was very friendly,cheery and helpful. Will definitely be back again.

It was time to try this Pizza Express in Inverness. We were booked for Saturday lunchtime. Just as well because it was really busy, and they were turning people away. I opted for the Lasagne and it was lovely. We weren't rushed away despite it being so busy. There was a nice happy atmosphere as it was close to Christmas 🎄. It was nice to see families enjoying time together. If you plan to come, booking is strongly recommended.

As someone with Coeliac and a dairy intolerance, this is one of the few if not only places I can get a takeaway. The new allergy list is extremely good and in depth aswell. The box’s all have stickers labels and qr codes for allergens.

Ordered online, took 2 hours for delivery. Pesto pasta was burnt! Mixed salad was such small amount, no utensils to eat pasta or salad. Will never order again. Also, no napkins. Uncivilized!

The pizza was mostly tomato sauce and hardly any topping. The potato dippers were just skins of potato’s they were horrible

We came in for a birthday dinner date, we were pleasantly greeted and offered a choice of tables to dine at. Our server Carlo was quick to offer us drinks. He took good care of us for our whole meal, serving us and our fellow diners at the time in a swift and attentive manner. It seemed as though he really strived to provide excellent service, and showed a true care for our experience. He should definitely be valued as a member of the team and given praise for his hard work and care.

A cold, snowy and bleak evening it was, and despite having to wait for a code!!! your polite and courteous delivery driver was a delight, and the cuisine was great 👍

Food was cold and potato dippers weren’t cooked properly. Pasta was very dry. Mozzarella sticks tasted awful. Very disappointing. Delivery drive was on time and polite, no issues there.

Pizzas are always nice from here though a little expensive for dough and toppings .. sometimes I prefer to grab the dough from supermarkets and make my own for half the price .

Absolutely incredible! They ask you right when you get in if anyone has any allergies, which is very considerate. Didn't have to wait long even tho it was dîner time, and honestly i think it was the very best pizza i had in my entire life! And not even so expensive! Worth every penny! 10/10 recommend :)

Absolutely horrid , ordered online with my boyfriend his pizza was removed from the online order and didn’t turn up , on the site it shows a full size brownie but when we got it it was half of one total rip of !! Pasta portion is nothing compared to the one in store ! We are no diffrent than your customers in the restaurant so don’t treat us differently!

Servicio impactante y camarera hosca. Cena reservada para 4 a las 7. 15 pm. Inmediatamente nos sentamos en una mesa agradable y orden tomada por 7 . 30 pm. Hasta ahora tan bien. Los entrantes del pan de ajo estaban fríos y no llegaron hasta las 8. 20 pm. ¡No me quejé ya que no podía soportar esperar otros 50 minutos! Las pizzas no llegaron hasta que pasaron otros 50 minutos. ¡No hay más disculpa o explicación que una prisa y hosca que viene, pero no fue así! Taza de té sin beber. Apenas agua caliente en una taza con un cerdo de té a un lado. Piensan que se ve elegante pero no hay manera de hacer una taza de té. En el lado bueno de la pizza era precioso, solo una pena que tardó 2 horas en llegar.

Had a lovely visit for our son's birthday. We all really enjoyed our food, the kids even ate most of it. I have coeliacs and always feel comfortable eating here. We were served by Cat today and she was really attentive and friendly. Very happy with our visit today!

Llegué un domingo y necesitaba comer antes de ir a mi alojamiento. El restaurante no estaba muy ocupado, pero estaba muy limpio y moderno. Elegí una buena pizza y una copa de vino. La pizza era preciosa - recién cocinado y muy bien presentado y el servidor era extremadamente profesional y agradable. Disfruté de la experiencia y recomendaría este restaurante por conveniencia, calidad y precios razonables.

The cooking time and delivery time were fine however everything is cold, not just warm like freezing cold which makes me wonder why, the delivery driver parks half way up our street then my partner has to go and get it from him while on the dog walk, seriously disappointed given the price they charge, will never order here again or even reccomend! Shocking. Genuinely disappointed

Solo visit. Friendly staff and food upto usual standard. Manager kindly sent me away with a big slice of cake that would otherwise have gone to waste. Nice!

Cold tough pizza, crispy potatoes were a complete joke, hardly enough to cover the bottom of the box and soggy. We'll never be ordering again, lesson learned.

I have ordered a menu, when I go to pay, I see that they had charged me for everything separately. Because? Because the waitress never told me that the pizza I wanted was not included on the menu. Too expensive for what it is.

Una vez sentados, nuestra camarera nos dio menús de los que pedimos una Lasaña (L 15 . 95) , un Calzone Italiano (L 17 . 95) , un Classic American (L 14 . 95) y un Pollo Pesto (L 16 . 45 ) . Todas las órdenes excepto la Lasaña aparecieron junto con una joven de la Cocina que estaba allí para disculparse por la orden de Lasaña que se perdió. Esa orden llegó poco después. Todos disfrutamos de nuestras selecciones. Mi agradecimiento al gerente de la tarde por permitir tomar la reserva de otra persona después de que no se presentaron dentro de un tiempo razonable después de su reserva. Una advertencia a cualquiera que planee estar en la ciudad un viernes por la noche, haga una reserva para la cena si desea cenar.

Update we arrived looking forward to a nice experience, but alas 1130 opening time is advisory. We sat outside a locked door waiting for 20mins while the staff pottered around inside. After 10mins we tried the door one staff member made eye contact then carried on pottering around. Looks like the staff within need to up their customer satisfaction skills and check timings on the apps linked to pizza express. Lovely location in the centre of Inverness, we got there early so was nice and quiet but be aware can be extremely busy and the wait can be sometime. The staff are polite and prompt.

We had a table booked for 18 people. Despite the large group, our order was taken effortlessly. Reece, our waiter took orders for our drinks first, allowing us time to choose our mains but without any further delay. He was efficient, helpful and polite. Nothing was too much for him - he made changes to the dishes to our liking (having a halal diet meant we were already limited in our choice), advised me on the kids menu for my 11 year old son and always served us with a smile. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Although we had a large group, the kitchen and staff were not overwhelmed. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Menu said enough for 4 people and it wasn’t. Also added extras which didn’t taste good and were cold.

The food was lovely. It was a nice evening so we opted to sit outside with my 13yr old and 20mth granddaughter everything was enjoyable untill a man on the next table lit his cigar !. I had no idea this was allowed in Scotland we live in Kent so glad I had finished my pizza ,shame the children had to endure the smoke tho .

Pizza arrived barely warm. Wasn't that great a taste and is very thin for the price. The halloumi bites were very soft even though it said they were crispy and the marinara sauce was watery. Not even worth the bundle price when 40% off.

Waited 30 minutes at a table until we just gave up and went somewhere else. No one even brought a menu. Yes, it was busy, but only because they didn't have enough staff on.

I did not arrive here as a customer but a parent and child in need. After a late bus to replace a canceled train my phone was dead with nowhere to charge it I approached the side service window spoke to a nice employee i explained the situation and that I needed my phone charged to find and access our accommodation for the night. He gladly put my phone on charge and told me to take my daughter inside for a glass of water. I took my 10 yo daughter inside and sat down where I was approached by the manager and told I needed to be seated by someone. so I then explained everything to him but in a very rude Manor the manager told me they could not allow that and walked off to scold his helpful employee. He then returned to me with my phone and asked us to leave.... this heartless man was lucky I didn't swing for him infront of my daughter but we left and eventually found somewhere to get charged to get into our accommodation ready to take my daughter for surgery in the morning

Very enjoyable meal indeed. Lovely staff. Closest pay at meter parking available at Morrisons, so didn't need to walk too far.

They accidently got my calzone order wrong, however this was resolved and my correct fresh one was out within minutes! The ladies who served me were so lovely and helpful. Some of the best customer service I've ever recieved as it actually felt genuine. They deserve a raise 👏

This has nothing at all to do with Express. We had to wait 45 minutes in the noisy restaurant and in return we received greasy, soggy pizzas and that's supposed to be Romana style! The waiter then topped everything by sprinkling hand-pickled tomatoes and parsley over the pizza and then serving it to us. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all. PizzaExpress never again!

We have eaten very well, we are three senior couples and Belén has served us in an exceptional way. Totally recommended for the quality of the food and the staff that serves you.

Pathetic service, well lack of. There were a ton of tables free yet I was told there are no tables. As a gold member that is the least you would expect that you can get a single pizza, for a single person. No problem though, will never be coming back to the place.

Had a great meal here today for our daughters 5th birthday. Prior to our arrival we had to alter our reservation time and this was no problem at all. Food was excellent and enjoyed by everyone. Service was perfect. When we arrived our daughter had casually mentioned that it was her birthday. To our surprise at the end of the meal, the waiting team sang happy birthday and they had a brownie with a candle for our daughter to blow out. Big credit to Victoria who was looking after our table. She went above and beyond and made our wee girl very happy on her birthday!

Missing items from the order at delivery and restaurant had no interest in replacing them. Called the restaurant and was lied to about just-eat reissuing order for the missing items, just-eat 'review refund for seven days'. Happens too often. Always left unsatisfied with less than the whole order being delivered.

Sauces are missing from our starters and no dressing on ceaser salad!! Pizzas are lukewarm/cold / really disappointing

Our past visits to Inverness we always walked up and ate here, had a great experience with great food so we were disappointed when we showed up early this evening and were told they were fully booked for the remainder of the night and we couldn’t get a table inside or outside and we could not get take outs/to go either. It just seemed strange that we couldn’t even wait and get a pizza to go. It says on Google they do to go orders? Oh well.

Delicious food, very, very nice service, good service, but unfortunately a bit noisy inside and often very full (didn't make a reservation on the first day and couldn't get a seat, on the second day we made a reservation and got a seat, but those in front of us were still eating)

Turned up at 8.30pm They wouldn’t take a sit in meal for two as we’re closing. Glad that we chose Pizza Express Inverness for our lunch once we stepped in INV last month. This place seems like always booked out, luckily one last spot walk in for us. Prawn Entree was cracking! Tasted so fresh and delicious, Nicoise Salad was so yum and Pizza was very yummy too! That open kitchen and cleanliness marked the top notch of everything. After a very tiring trip from London to Inverness, Pizza Express Inverness is the one that made our Inverness culinary trip memorable.

Chill and friendly environment with a great menu. Perfect for families, friends, or just a night out by yourself. Our waitress, Vie, was incredible. Made our visit both welcoming and entertaining. Will be sure to come again!

Our service was INCREDIBLE we had such a lovely waiter Vie who not only helped us with their member, made some incredible recommendations but also helped us to get a bit of money off on our total via the app!

I visited the Inverness restaurant with my wife and two daughters on the evening of 30 May. We have visited this restaurant on plenty of occasions as we live local. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy though people were leaving and coming in for bookings as normal. On this occasion and for the first time, our meal was dreadful. By the time my starter arrived, my wife and daughters had finished their starter so I explained to the waitress that I did not want this to happen when the main meals arrived. Our four pizzas did all arrive together but three of them were absolutely stone cold. My wife asked me not to say anything to the waitress so I didn’t. On leaving, the deputy manageress explained without being prompted that there were issues that night and she would do something for us on our next visit. Needless to say, we won’t be back. I am being asked to recommend items as part of this review but I wouldn’t recommend anything that comes absolutely stone cold. Avoid.

Although the food was great, it was disappointing to have felt racially discriminated within this pizza express branch. I came to collect some pizza around 6.30pm. There were a white-English couple behind me waiting to be served. Sadly, the waitress failed to acknowledge me at all, no eye contact and decided to speak to the couple behind me. After taking the couple to the table, the waitress began to serve the other tables whilst I stood there. The waitress then returned, walked past me to go outside and seemed to talk to other customers. At that point I felt I should announce to the waitress that I was waiting to be served and to collect my pizza. The food otherwise was great all though I had to wait for a bit which I don’t mind, as I prefer food freshly prepared. The only thing which has annoyed me is to have felt a second class citizen within this branch. I am not sure whether this was a subconscious or conscious bias to non-white individuals. I would recommend to have staff in this branch to undergo ethical and diversity training.

Well done today team , we were greeted by the lady on the door, she explained they had a wait on food , no problem to us , in no hurry. Unfortunately, they had staff illness and had to struggle with limited team members, I'm in the f&b business myself and run restaurants with only 2 staff members, so I totally understand their frustration. The team coped well and everyone git their food, but it was totally delicious. Well done, you all smashed it xx

We turned up as walk ins and were found a table quickly. The food was as expected from a chain although our dough balls were burnt and stuck to the bottom of the dish. The staff could've been a bit more attentive, but overall were pretty good. The meal was quite expensive for what it is, which was disappointing

Went with wife and daughter because my daughter loves the pizza there. We didn’t have a booking that i understood, but if you fully booked why let the guy infront of us without booking get a table and show us away because no booking. If it’s good for the goose then it’s good for the gander, if you fully booked then show everyone without a booking away. Don’t just allow the 1 guy in and show a family of 3 away. That just made my mind up to never eat there again.

Lovely food and drinks. I just wish we could chose a table.
