The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in South West

Decent range of food and drinks. We ordered a sauvignon blanc and a dark and stormy together with a slow cooked belly pork and a pizza. Food and drinks came out quickly and was good quality. Friendly and efficient staff.

I had a takeaway from here so cannot comment on service/atmosphere… but the food was disgusting. The worst lasagna I’ve ever had, it’s like someone poured a whole bottle of salt on top, alongside it missing the top layer of a lasagna. The cheese was so thick and chewy, and there was cheese on the garlic bread that we didn’t ask for - alongside half of the baguettes were burnt. The burger was also very unappetising as we left half of that too. Overall poor experience, which I am gutted about as it was my first time eating here, but had heard great things.

We had a lovely time and the food was lovely if a tad on the expensive side. The gluten free options were fantastic. However one member of staff paid us too much attention offering lots of options and deals but we felt this destroyed the atmosphere and we found it hard to relax and complete a conversation.

Very expensive drinks. Bar is like a black hole. Black ceiling black walls. Pub doesn’t have a garden. Not a nice atmosphere

Excellent pizza, hot and tasty, can't fault it. Made quickly and fresh. Lovely lady who served me. Very reasonable too. A visitor to Paignton, but will definitely return here next time we stay.

Pizza and drinks brilliant here, if a bit expensive. Service great and very fast, even when busy. Can be rowdy at night times with students etc.

Very good tasty and filling food!

If I could give 0, I would. Ordered for a meeting at work, the order never showed. No call to apologise or explain a delay and we had to go elsewhere. We called more than 20 times and the phone was never picked up. We used to always use PAPA’S at least once a month for work meetings, now we would rather use anyone else or order from any other restaurant.

Food looks ok, better than taste. Nice people, easy go to after night out. Reasonable to high price.

Many thanks to The Lakes team for making it possible to have a special, surprise birthday celebration in the afternoon this week. We were a small group but the care and attention was first class. You helped us to make the birthday person feel very special . Thanks to one of the the Team who also took some celebration photos of all of us together.

When in on a Tuesday and wanted to order pizza like we have done so many times before to be told that I couldn’t have the pizza done half and half as they don’t do half and half on a Tuesday , all I wanted was half cheese and the other half sweetcorn , but the lady said not on a Tuesday , never heard of anything so stupid ever , I have been going to here for the last 10 years but after the experience on Tuesday I will never recommend or return
