Papa john's in Cheltenham

The taste of the food was not up to expectations. Very poor taste

I recently ordered from Papa John’s, and it was a fantastic experience! The pizza was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of toppings and a great crust. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The service was also excellent—staff were friendly and efficient, and my order was ready right on time. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious pizza and fast, friendly service!

Ordered food from Papa John's The food was extremely good and tasty The customer service was descent and polite Moreover,food was delivered on time by very polite driver Definitely you need to try and I recommend you to have their all the meat's pizza it was extremely delicious.

Rude management. Messed to the order. Called and was promised a 50% discount next time. Upon trying to claim this was talked to aggressively and told by the manager to stop pissing him off. I put that down to his limited vocabulary and understanding of the English language, as this and aggression was the only wording he could come up with when determined to not deliver the promises made on previous mess up. He just couldn't understand that if he wasn't going to honour the promise then that was that but I didn't appreciate him trying to charge me even more then the price advertised in the window and trying to fool me thar he had given me the discount Things can go wrong, it's how you deal with the situation that makes you excellent or rubbish. Will not return there again, they have no respect for their customers

Chicken bites were inedible and the garlic bread was cold and hard. Honestly the best part of my meal was the Tango. Pizza was ok.

Tonight, we ordered from Papa John's in Cheltenham for the first time. The Pizza was delicious, perfect base and generous tasty toppings. We will definitely be ordering from them again. Fast delivery by a very polite delivery person. Thank you!

Great food but you need to check the details from the order. My house number didn’t transfer on to the delivery. Courier struggled to find us. Luckily we live in a cul de sac

wrong chicken poppers were sent. Dry, hard and tasteless pizza sticks. Awful

Driver was very accommodating, accidentally given wrong address for delivery but was more than happy to divert. Very grateful, went above and beyond.

When’s in at 12.40 am and told they were close even though the door was open, I said they are usually open till 1am. Told I was wrong, I have had issues with them getting my order wrong before and them telling me it’s cheap and to stop worrying. This is why dominoes is better. It’s a joke there !!!!

Always good pizza. I recommend it for a nice pizza. The prices a bit high, but they have offers, and buy1 get 1 free is good value. Especially for the xxl pizza. 😁

Pizza was ok, driver had forgotten my drink and had no dip in the box and some of the chicken bits weren’t fully cooked.

A tad expensive compared to others and a few more mushrooms would be good but so far on second experience both times having the Philly steak pizza with extra mushrooms all good lovely garlic/cheese bread although having the discount evens it all out

The pizzas are incredibly greasy and confusingly tasteless. The Hawaiian pizza had about 4 pieces of ham and 4 pieces of pineapple on it. The cheese was very hot, but the base of the pizza was cold and stodgy.

Always speedy and well cooked good quality dough for a chain . Would choose over dominos any day ! Great when they have good deals on as full price like most takeaways too expensive for a working class person 🙄 4 stars

Reviewed previously for 5 stars because of the food but .... WOW! Haven't had a Papa John's or any takeaways for ages as I had to lose weight. Really wanted one and logged in to find they're the same price as Domino's. I'm having a chippy instead. I just can't justify £20+ to eat in front of the TV.

Once again another top class experience from Papa Johns Cheltenham! Top quality ingredients and lots of it! I always order from this store as it’s a proper pizza compared to other well known pizza companies we all know! Never can fault this store for fast delivery top class tasty pizza. Well done again for amazing food.

Decent pizzas, slightly pricey but a nice treat.

Lovely food, ordered two pizzas and some sides, unfortunately one pizza came with different toppings. However, after a quick call with Aamir Khan he sent a new pizza to my house in literal minutes, along with an extra drink! So pleased with Aamirs service as some restaurants really don’t care enough! Papa johns clearly do:) 10/10

After doing a community clean up in Cheltenham a group of us had worked up an appetite! We got pizzas from here and they were really delicious. Freshly made while we waited, they were generously topped with our chosen ingredients. The staff were so friendly and helpful, excellent service. Thank you!

I don’t like today’s pizza not well cooked both. Pizzas i have to bin it . The cheese on up of the pizza is like that not cooked and taste is today rubbish 100% i every time enjoy to eat this pizza but today’s pizza is not my expectation.

Not worth the money. Had double pepperoni - Hardly any pepperoni ! No flavour. Very limited ingredients used for the price. Not great at all

The food is far too expensive for the standard of the food

The food arrived over half an hour late after the tracker said it was delivered when it wasn't. When it did arrive, the food was barely luke warm, and the sides that we paid for were missing. I asked the delivery driver who didn't care and said to call the restaurant. It took over 45 minutes to deliver the missing sides.

Worst takeaway pizza I've ever had. The crust tasted bad, the chips were dry. Generally unpleasant.

The thin and crispy base was neither thin nor crispy! Stodgy and undercooked drowned in so much cheese you couldn’t even see or taste the vegetables. Won’t be ordering again first and last time.

The delivery driver is an absolute boss man. Man needs a raise

No pizza?? Driver didn’t knock the door to deliver pizza and took the pizza back? No missed calls on my mobile & Guy said he could send the driver back to deliver me the same 2 hour cold pizza and not a fresh one and to contact just eat.

Always fast, fresh and generous with toppings. Not too expensive either as delivery food goes. Keep the deals and it is reasonable. Never had a problem, just tasty, generous and fast delivery. A continuing loyal customer here for when we treat ourselves 🙂 keep up the good work, we recommend you.

Pretty shocking to be honest. Online said they were open until 2am, ordered through their own website at 00.20am order was also confirmed! Management really needs to get a hand on things. Called and was told by the manager it was basically not his fault. And my money would be in my account in the next 3 working days. Not even an apology. Shocking. I shall not give this company any more of my money. Avoid avoid avoid.

I ordered Cinnamon Scrolls with my pizza and literally spit it put after taking a bite. They are basically pizza dough with some Cinnamon and glaze. It had bit of pizza sauce on it which I don't think was ment to be there. It was disgusting. All of that box straight to the bin. And if a place can produce something like that i don't think be ordering from them again. First and last time for us !

Orderd veg pizza pan base and thin base Received 2 thin based pizza's. Shame they don't check orders before making. Was no point to call them back, would have only said sorry for the inconvenience.

I was very pleased with service.

Was on time and he found us pretty easily which was nice. But the pizza was just rubbish. Did ask for extra sweet corn on top and only got a few bits. Didn't taste nice at all. Not what I expect from here

The food tasted good, but the order was over an hour late. I had to call the company to let them know, and by that point they rushed it, but if I hadn’t had called they would have forgotten the order. No discounts or refunds offered.

Ordered at 5.10pm and food arrived at almost 8pm after a mix up between the Just eat app and the restaurant. Rang to see where the order was half an hour after the app delivery time stated 18.05, was told order was out for delivery. Another half hour later, i rang again and was told my order hadn’t come through from the app (so the 1st person I had spoke to had lied) had to manually order and wait another half an hour. You get the picture. Once the food arrived, the delivery driver was really lovely and the restaurant apologised but I would probably order through the restaurants website if I use them again. Food was ok, arrived hot but not the best pizza in the world.

We were staying in a hotel close to Papa John's in Cheltenham. Decided to try them out so ordered via Just Eat with estimated delivery time of 30 to 60 mins. Pizza arrived 2hours and 15mins after ordering. When I rang Papa Johns to ask about my order, Staff tried to fob me off by saying they were busy and they had a lot of deliveries to do. Rang back and spoke with Manager who arranged delivery within 30mins. When the food arrived it was very tasty. Shame about the attitude of the Staff.

Gave instruction to call my number and to ring the bell. But the delivery guy rang the bell and disturbed everyone. Stupid service & Stupid delivery

Good customer service easy access

Ordered pizza for collection, pizza was ready on time & no issues parking nearby to collect it. Went for the suffered crust BBQ meat feast which was pipping hot & very tasty. My first time using Pappa John's in Cheltenham & would use again.

Cheese pizza was perfectly fine (your normal standard cheese pizza!) however the chilli freak was poor/very plain. Cinnamon scrolls were ok, rather doughy and not enough sauce on top. Delivery was quick but the delivery man wouldn’t come to the door of our building, had to walk outside to the gate to collect it after saying I could let him into the car park etc.

Arrived fast, order (vegan The Works pizza) was warm and tasty! Thanks for the free dip :)
