Nice pint, nice atmosphere. We didn't eat, but the Sunday roast menu looks good.

We go to the fish at least once a week - nice friendly atmosphere Welcoming staff and a decent pint - chatty friendly regulars Would recommend

Felt really comfy and at home here with super nice staff. Plenty of cosy corners and a great atmosphere. Great range of drinks and some simple bar food if needed. Love the 80s night!

Come here semi regularly… nice pub a bit on the expensive side but I like it still. Sadly my last visit here left much to be desired. It was a long wait for the bar (full of away fans coming to watch Cheltenham) and when we eventually got to the front got turned away because I didn’t have ID. Fair enough, my mistake, silly to not have it on me. What I didn’t like however, was the rude tone that the chap behind the bar took with me. A simple ‘no sorry guys’ would have been perfectly fine.

Called in for a pint on the way to the football. It was busy but the service was efficient. A decent pint of well kept Cheltenham gold so all was good with us

Great stop off en route to (and back from) the races! Absolutely banging music and great service at the bar..red stripe on tap and about £3 a pint cheaper than they are currently charging at the racecourse, really need to come in on a standard weekend rather than just race day, very recommended

Food was great and the drink prices where fair

We were only in Cheltenham two nights, but went both nights. Fun atmosphere and great service. Great price for fun drinks.

Went there for a works do and went on quiz night. All I can say is atmosphere was fantastic and we had we had great Time. The quiz was worth the effort. No more pricey than anywhere else on cheltenham.

Our twin daughters had a 30th birthday party. We paid for food for 45 people and were pleasantly surprised how good it was. All the hot food was tasty AND hot, and the sandwiches were fresh and what's more, there was plenty of it. We even had left overs. Great little venue for 50 to 60 people, and drinks very reasonably priced for Cheltenham. We brought in a DJ who was great and the atmosphere was spot on. Well done the Feathered Fish!

Cracking Sunday roast. Called up Sunday morning and got booked in. The roast was delicious. Potatoes were incredible. Great portion size and can’t wait to go back.

Decent local pub near Pittville Park. Good quality Real Ale, bit only one available. Friendly barman. In nice weather has an open front which is nice to sit and enjoy beer and weather.

We had a great night here on a Tuesday for the pub quiz, whilst we were on holiday in the area. Booked a table for the quiz in advance, glad we did as it was busy. Great atmosphere. Nice staff. Had some food too which was decent pub grub.

We love the pub quiz every Tuesday with a awesome quiz master! Drinks more on the pricey side but a great night had by all anyway!

Stopped by for.Sunday lunch Amazing sunday lunch one of the best we have had.

What a great find after a day at the races. Good music and plenty dancing and it was only 5pm. Sore feet were soon forgotten ;) Lucky to get the comfy sofa and then lots of laughs with the fun crowd that were in. We didn't eat as were moving on but will definitely stop off another time.

The Thursday special offer of food for £5 did not start until 6.30 so we had pizzas and local ale and cider. Good value for money. Bit noisy and gents loo needs fixing and updating.

Went here recently for Sunday lunch..most of the tables were reserved & I'm not surprised as it was really lovely!! Friendly staff..an enjoyable time.

Had my husbands surprise 40th in the back bar. We were well looked after by Andy and the team. The buffet was very good value. Would definitely recommend.

Cheltenham weekend, drinks came quickly, space was reasonable. Good start to an evening with a DJ very keen to get the night going

I've been to the Feathered Fish about 5 or 6 times. Its always through my work as they can do a buffet and you can book the rom at the back. They have a wide range of beers and its always a decent atmosphere.

Desperately needs to find its market and stick with it , it's trying to be a cool wine bar/reastraunt/sports bar , and failing at all of them , a decent place for a drink in the summer though due to the glass front that bi-folds open

Went for a private function, (using the term private loosley) as they literally let anyone wander through, drinks were pricey, the barman was soooo dull and the food was awful. Came out in drips and drabs and was just so innefficient. The festivities were cute but that's my only positive for the evening

Esta fue nuestra primera escala en nuestro último 'tour' de cerveza en Cheltenham: he venido a tomar un trago rápido unas cuantas veces con mi esposa cuando iba de camino a la ciudad, pero no por un tiempo. Solo tenían un par de cervezas de verdad, una de las cuales era de Gloucester Brewery, que era bastante agradable, aunque nada especial.Tampoco hay mucho ambiente, así que no estoy seguro de que volveré pronto.

Ideal for Pre match ales before the Cheltenham FC games. Popular with students too. Awful name for a bar though.Worth a visit.

It doesn't really know if it's a family pub or a cocktail bar...Guinness very expensive...rest of the beer seems reasonably priced....good place to watch sport...particular horse racing...that may account for the price of the Guinness..

Reasonable selection of drinks. Limited food menu during the week. Staff are excellent and dog friendly. Do an amazing Sunday roast for super cheap!

Nice pub. Good range of beers. Fruit machine and pool table.

Pleasant staff. Good coffee. We considered having the Sunday Lunch, at £6.50 it seemed very reasonable. My wife had to visit the ladies 'Loo' which changed our minds to have lunch. The toilet had not been cleaned; 11.30 on a Sunday morning we were the first customers; 2 of the 3 cubicles were unusable, sinks dirty, handles and seats broken. They had not been checked, this was left over from Saturday night. No excuses for this, just bad management. We won't go back.

A few friends popped in here expecting to settle in for a couple of hours before our football match later that evening but we quickly realised that the shabby chic look was accompanied by a rather grubby feel about the place.We orders drinks and rested up on one of the sofas but just wasn't feeling the place, there was no warmth or vibe - one of those things you can't put your finger on. The beers weren't great either so we decided we couldn't stay and set off in search of somewhere better.

Tuvimos pizza aquí cuando nos reunimos con nuestros amigos en Cheltenham para una reunión. El personal del bar no podría haber sido más amable que nos dieron excelentes consejos sobre dónde comer y beber - y dónde no. La pizza era de menos de 8 libras y tenía una corteza de peluche - fue buena y llena un lugar antes comimos más tarde esa noche. El vino era razonable y agradable. El bar estaba lleno y bien decorado. Prueba si estás en Cheltenham.

Excellent value and quality Sunday Roast. A lot better than many establishments in Cheltenham. Always really great staff, but more staff are needed for a 5* review!

Looks the part, but doesn't really walk the walk. We swung in for a quick drink and asked the barman about the gins and the ales to which he really didn't give a toss. Keep on walking.

Queríamos algo informal y relajado, así la gente podía relajarse y fue perfecto. Gracias a todo el personal por hacer que un gran comienzo de la noche

Good food but can be expensive.

Visitamos aquí para el concurso ya que tengo amigos que viven en la zona y mi lugar habitual no era "quizzing" esa noche. La cerveza estaba bien, aunque demasiado ligera para una cerveza descrito como un amargo. Hay otros bares en Cheltenham con una selección mucho mejor de buenas cervezas (Sandford Park Ale House, La Colmena para nombrar sólo dos).

Had a lovely late lunch very last minute as walking past. The choice was limited due to us being so late but nice good value food. Service was OK, not overly friendly but polite enough.

I called into the Feathered Fish this evening for food as Tuesday is 'burger night'. On entering the pub and placing a drinks order, I was told by the barmaid that there was only one table free as the others had been reserved for the quiz. I checked the start time of the quiz was 8:30 and stated that we weren't planning to stay for the quiz (as I was due elsewhere at 7:45 anyway) the time being 6:55. The pub was mostly empty, although all available tables had a reserved sign on them, so we duly took the last remaining table. We ordered and paid for food at 7pm, assuming that service would be normal expecting food to take around 20 minutes as it has on many previous occasions. We were brought cutlery and condiments almost immediately so settled down with our drinks. 25 minutes later there is no sign of the food but the barmaid approaches with another condiments tray, she sees we have one and tells us food will be out 'in the next few minutes'.Needless to say it isn't. After 35 minutes I go to the bar and ask one of the bar staff where the food is, explaining we'd ordered over half an hour ago. His reply was 'there is a wait on food'. I state that we weren't advised of this when the order was placed, I was due to be somewhere else within 10 minutes and could he please go and check with the kitchen. He checks, comes back and says it's on its way.Food arrives at 7:40 with no apology or explanation. Whilst we were waiting I had plain view of the rest of the pub and they brought out no more than 4 plates of food within that time. Having eaten as much as I could within the 5 minutes I had, I then had to leave. My friend stayed behind to express dissatisfaction to the bar staff.This pub is usually good for quick pub food, I'm not sure what went wrong today but it ought to be addressed. The fact that no apology was offered and that we weren't forewarned of the wait is failure on both levels. Had I been told there was a wait time I would've chosen a different pub in light of my prior commitments.

We waited far too long for burgers on burger night given that the pub was mostly empty when we ordered our food. When we chased up the food after over 35 minutes we were told that there was a wait for food. Not one to complain first on the internet I spoke to the barmaid on the way out, I told her I had had a disappointing experience which was a surprise because it is normally great there and suggested that we should have been told there was a wait for food when we ordered. She replied that she'd told us they were fully booked, however would not accept that that was meaningless when the pub was virtually empty when we ordered. I wish she'd apologised and taken the feedback on board and I've have left feeling much better about the experience. I will say Sunday lunch is great here and the breakfast during the races is brilliant, I have had no problems with speed of service during these busy times. Good for ale, always featuring some local brews.
