Just returned from Pizza Express and I am certain I will not be visiting Pizza Express anymore. So while placing the order we ordered for 2 pizza and one portion dough ball . We realised we could go for 1 all day set menu to which we were told it can be done over the app . Set menu order needs to be done on the app we can't take it. we were also made aware that the set menu comes with a dessert and I replied saying I am always game for a dessert. Next I download the app, register myself and we were told while placing put table number 1 so when I did, there was already a bill with my original order (assuming the waitress had already put in for us). I did notice there wasn't any set menu so I tried to add ( the bill didn't change, so not sure whether it was added or not or was already added by the waitress) tried deleting the original it didn't get delete , in a nutshell the bill that was already inputted by the waitress didn't change. Going ahead I just paid it ( we weren't told do not pay) . Staff didn't help with placing order on the app nor were they present to assist. N e how I went ahead and paid the bill before the food even arrived. We finished our pizzas and I asked for my dessert to which I was told you didn't place order for it, and have already paid the bill so if you want dessert you will have to pay. The whole point of downloading the app and placing order on app was to go for 1 set menu and one more pizza and we end up paying slightly more and without the dessert inspite of downloading the appand placing order on it. The staff should have been more clear in giving us instruction about placing order on app, should have been there to assist us since it was our first time using the PE app and to top it up when they realised , I am sure earlier than us that this customer did download the app and was wanting to place order for a set menu should have immediately brought to our notice. Highly disappointed !!!

We arrived and were treated in the usual cheery manner and told how to order, no problem. The drinks were served and salad bowls, we had ordered a meal deal for each of us (2 adults and 1 child) our pizzas arrived and our sides, but only the child's side, no pizza. We were then asked a few minutes later what was missing and told by the server, she would check on the child's pizza. She returned 5mins later to day ut would be 2-3mins. 10mins later another server asked if everything was OK and we said no, no child's pizza. She went to the kitchen and arrived 5 mins later to say it was now in the oven and the kitchen was so overloaded with orders for take away and eat in that it was bedlam! We waited a further 10mins and were delivered a burned child's pizza. I asked what the complaints procedure was and was told she would ask. Possibly a voucher. She returned to say it would be a voucher and that they were so understaffed and overstretched. She was very kind and understanding of my concerns. She also said the manager would be with us very soon but was currently in the kitchen sorting the problems! We waited and waited, not for the manager but for our table to be cleared and or our deserts that we had ordered with the meals to arrive..... they didn't. Our son had eaten what he could of the burned pizza and we decided to leave. I have emailed Pizza Hut and left a review, but had no response, we would recommend you steer clear of this hut. Unless you want a job!!!!

Not from the area but the worst pizza we have eaten. £50 + for 3 pizzas and a few side and everything ( apart from the chicken ) was terrible. Delivered the wrong drink and forgot a pizza upon delivery. They did bring the missing item 15mins later. 3/4 of the food is left ! Terrible.

Never had Papa John pizza before and I can say with 100% certainty I will not be having it again! Tracking on the website said that the pizza was delivered, it wasn’t, I called them and was told quite abruptly that it would be a few minutes, it turned up almost 15 minutes later! The pizza itself was chewy and not much taste, the chicken sides were very salty. Overall not a pleasant experience. Charging the same as the bigger named pizza outlets without the same quality!

Popped in for lunch today and left feeling disappointed and frustrated. After being seated while it was fairly quiet at around 11:30, we were served drinks and our starter within a reasonable time - however, it then took 40 minutes + after the starter for our mains to arrive, only to arrive cold and either burnt or undercooked. Two of our party only ordered starters as mains (which was clearly identified when ordering) so for two pasta dishes and a few starters to take so long and be unpleasant and somewhat inedible seems ludicrous. Especially as the restaurant filled up and others around us receiving starters and mains before us, while having arrived after we ordered? Staff were unhelpful and seemingly forgot about us, with no apologies made at any point. Never had an issue with Pizza Express before, so it must be a location issue, would not recommend to anyone.
