We came to Pizza Express Luton on our way back from Whipsnade Park. We were on a tight time schedule and Simon was absolutely brilliant. Our meal came amazingly quickly and the food was delicious. Outstanding service, highly recommended. Directions to the train station were spot on.Thank you Simon and the team.

I can’t remember the ladies name, she’s brunette, with an accent and I’ve seen her quite often when I’ve dined in, she’s absolutely lovely and provides a fabulous service. No faults ! The food has always been fantastic!

Food was freezing cold. The taste was not great. Everything was ruined by the temperature of every food item. No idea whose fault it was, either the restaurant or the delivery driver. Either way, Just Eat has provided me with no help at all. First and last time I’ll be ordering

Considering there were 2 tables and 6 staff the service was extremely slow. I had to ask 2 members of staff for the cheque and was ignored for 5 minutes while waiting in sight of the staff who were talking and messing around with each other.

The scenery is unique to Luton was a nice suprise, food was good like it's to be expected and the service was good, overall was a good experience, as I have eaten at different restaurants before

Hi, It was very bad experience today in Luton restaurant, specifically with the lady manager.I have ordered picolo menu for my son.The margarita pizza quality was not good and very less quantity of cheese.The taste was not like before.I am a gold member of Pizza express.If we find this type of problems then there will be n o point to go to Pizza express Luton.Lady manager was so rude and she told me I need to pay extra money for the cheesey son was so sad today as he likes margarita pizza and he get disappointed because of quality.the base and taste was not good today.Very disappointed with the behaviour of lady manager.

Food was not very good dough balls half cooked, garlic bread burned, Oliver the manager not at all customer focused very rude didn't find him helpful at all when I complained to him his advice was on the phone it is as ir is, very poor service

Pizza was freezing cold & I don’t utilise a microwave so it was inedible. Don’t understand how the pizza could be this cold the driver must not have a heat bag as was handed over without it. Very disappointing as I’ve fasted and am STARVING

As a group of ten we went to celebrate a birthday. The service was excellent , all staff were very attentive and made the birthday girl and my young grandson feel very special. The food was really good and arrived in a timely manner with recommendations if we needed help. Altogether a really nice experience made even better by the lovely team working there. Thank You

Meat what is now in sloopy guiseppe pizza is taste like lamb not like beef ,and for me it was disgusting . You have in description that is recipes from 1999. Definitely is not the same meat like was before! It was mine favourite one , now is worst . Half of wings was not cooked.

This place is a lovely building, but unfortunately, it was ruined by the staff member constantly (x5) carrying food (which smelt) and kicking boxes across the floor through the restaurant to the bins through the fire exit. I said to the wait staff and then the manager who didn't care less as it kept happening. Around us it was a struggle to find a table which didn't have dirty plates on, which weren't tidied whilst we were there. It took a while to get a drink as there were no clean glasses (surprise surprise). This was 7pm on a sat night and it wasn't even busy. Food wasn't bad tho.

Pizza came over an hour late, was cold and was missing items and got the wrong pizza, will not be ordering from here again

Ordered a delivery online, not only did it come over an hour late , it arrived cold, incorrect items (asked for a pepperoni pizza for my mum and she got margarita) and also missing some items ( ordered dough balls and never got them) . When calling up to try and explain the issue they claim that “they can’t hear you” and immediately hang up. will 100% not be ordering from here ever again

Driver was very rude, he called, yelled something and hung up. Twice. Then we had to chase him down as he didn't want to move from the road.

The food is good and the vibe is nice. Portions are alright, prices are normal overall. The place is very tidy and clean, a real joy to sit down and unwind after work. Recommended

I used to be a regular at this restaurant but my recent experience left me extremely disappointed. They seem to have changed chefs recently and the quality of the food has taken a sudden turn for the worse. The last time I ordered from them, the chicken wings were overcooked to the point of burning. It was clear that the poultry had been left on the grill for far too long, leaving it dry and unpleasant. To make matters worse, my pollo pesto I was eating them like chewing gum. It was obvious that the dish had been re-prepared in a hurry, resulting in a lackluster and unappealing meal. I used to enjoy the food at this establishment, but after this experience, I won’t be going back anytime soon. It’s a shame to see a once great restaurant go down so far in terms of food quality and customer satisfaction.

i re-visited pizza express luton for the first time in 10 yrs and was warmly welcomed by wendy the manager who attended to our order. i must say that i was surprised at how tasty the pizza's are these days and will re-visit the luton branch again soon .

Ordered at 12.20. Original est 13.00 delivery. Delayed on Just Eat by 20 mins. Called restaurant ay 13.05 and was told it was ready, waiting for collection. Food left restaurant at 13.30, delivered at 2. Driver said he was waiting 25 mins - food was hot. Conclusion based on hot food is that the food was not ready at 13.05 or it would have been less fresh and cold, and that the driver was on time, they just blamed the driver. Overall experience = Not ordering from there again.

I didn’t receive my order and it’s showing it’s delivered but when I called the restaurant they told me no one pick it up and it’s still waiting

Had a kids pizza making party here and it was excellent. Kids had loads of fun, the staff were great and there was plenty of room. Highly recommend this place for kids party or to eat.

Lucy served us this evening - 15.12.23 - the food was absolutely perfect and the service was brilliant, she even recommended a side sauce for my fiancé which he ended up really enjoying. She was quick and very friendly. Very pleased with the overall experience, would 100% recommend.

one of the most disgusting gluten-free pizza! too much tomato sauce with almost no cheese on it for a supposedly “margarita” pizza! And the dough not cooked at all! to avoid absolutely and don’t waste your time/ money and finally being disappointed!

Tasty pizza, could have been served a little quicker as mine was only lukewarm when it got to the table and we were the only ones in the restaurant. (It is often very empty so it's good if you want somewhere quiet). Our server was super lovely.

We have been using Pizza Express for over 30 years and today, have had one of the BEST pizzas/meals we have ever had at any of these restaurants. The Manager, Megan, was a delight - very friendly, helpful and a memory to match! And the chef, Iwona, made us Romana pizzas worthy of the 5 star food rating. One of us can't eat cheese but we weren't made to feel like we had two heads for asking for a pizza without cheese (in fact Megan didn't know there used to be one on their menu years ago but found it on their database). The pizza was hot, plenty of toppings, and baked to perfection. We really could not be happier with our lunch. It was just a shame there were only two other tables occupied in the restaurant - but on a rainy, windy afternoon in Luton, it's not surprising! If anyone is considering going for a pizza any time soon, we cannot recommend Iwona's cooking and Megan's hospitality enough. Thank you ladies! Enjoy!

Wonderful welcome from all the staff as soon as I walked through the door. Simon, both manager and waiter, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. He prepared a table for us in the garden. It was an ideal place for a relaxed lunch with my god-daughter. Thank you.

Excellent customer service. Food was really tasty. Simon was very welcoming and went to the bother of printing off information for us visitors on how to get to London etc. He engaged with all the customers and created a very welcoming environment.

We visited Pizza Express on 15/07 before a flight the following morning. Eva our waitress was superb from start to finish, we loved talking to her about travelling to Brazil. Our food was lovely made all the more pleasant by the service we received. Anybody looking for a lovely dinner when staying in Luton, you can’t go wrong with Pizza Express and Eva!

Great food but very slow service

You've to wait 10 minutes just to get their respond then another 5 minutes for check ur order. If you ask them "how long its gonna be" they will reply you re a rude guy. We know you guys are busy but atleast response us if is it late or early so that we can wait. Have very disappointing and pathetic experiences in pizza express as a delivery guy. When manager or someone is their they are frindly and responding but when nobodys there they dont even care.

We've had 2 kids Birthday parties at Pizza Express to date and have found them good fun and good value. The kids go away well fed having had dough balls, pizza and ice cream. The staff coped very well with our party of 26 kids including some late additions and they were helpful and accommodating providing drinks and additional pizzas orders for our adult guests. Thanks.

A big shout out to Megan who served our large Pizza-Making party yesterday. We enjoyed a great team social and were looked after extremely well by her and her colleagues. The pizza making was fun (and educational) and we enjoyed speedy and attentive service when they were ready for us to eat! Megan was a superb host; super professional and accommodating - thank you for a lovely evening!

This was a lovely experience. Our host/waiter (can't remember his name) was so friendly and helpful, not just about the food but chatted to us and brought a container to put flowers in so they didn't wilt. Also one of our party was arriving half an hour late and we ordered his choice with ours and almost as soon as he arrived it was brought to him. He also realized it was my birthday and brought me a lovely taster dessert. It was an extremely hot day and the AC was on but he offered to turn it down if we preferred. Would recommend this pizzeria strongly.

Food is great.  Excellent choice of vegan options. But the service, terrible. Would it kill the waitress to smile or be nicer? Made us feel really unwelcome and, frankly, uncomfortable. Good service would have made this experience 5 star.

Regularly visit as the food is so good. Also there is a full vegan menu which is great. Kids receive an activity pack which helps keep them entertained until the food arrives. Staff have always been attentive. I love that it’s spacious as well

My friend and I popped into our local pizza express in Luton without pre booking. It was a bank holiday and the staff were rushed off the feet. Regardless of how many tables they had on the go they were so helpful in checking we were ok as there was a wait. Lucy Matthew couldn’t be more helpful and genuinely friendly and polite despite spinning so many plates at the same time! The genuineness of the staff really created a great atmosphere we will definitely visit again! Stacey

Ate at Pizza Express Luton. I always enjoy our meals here! The restaurant is spacious with a high ceiling, so you don’t feel crowded in. I love their Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni and I was delighted to see the Honeycomb Slice back on the dessert menu. Service was really good, Megan was very helpful and patient with me and my Tesco reward vouchers. I will be back.

Came for dinner here a week ago with family. The food was really good and the service was even better! Matthew was our waiter and made us feel soooooo welcome. Would definitely eat here again.
