The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Pizza pasta food

Lovely food, decent price and staff are friendly. Don't go anywhere else if we fancy a take away! Pizza is always fresh and well topped and the chicken kebab and cheesy chips lovely!

New York style pizzas, whole or by the slice, I used to come here years ago as a special lunch treat for a slice, glad to see it's still around and it's as good as I remember it, thin dough base, large slices.

Popped in here for a sandwich lunch and tea. The staff were very attentive and the meal was prepared quickly. Wife had Tuna and mayo (a favourite of hers) and I had Atlantic prawn sandwich. both were served with a small side salad and plain crisp. Unfortunately the Tuna sandwich had a bit of a funny taste, the tuna smelt OK so we can only think it was something in the mayo. At one point the owner came over to check if everything was ok, and whilst we did not want to make a fuss (other people on the same table) I did ask what he tuna sandwich had in it and was advised just mayo. The owner was concerned why we asked but we played it down as not not raise an issue about the food. I also tasted it and agreed that it was not right so my wife discreetly wrapped them up and threw the sandwich away. My Atlantic prawn sandwich had a lot of filling but too be honest no real taste and were smaller that shrimps I have seen and had in the past, so again a bit of a disappointment. Finally having ordered a pot of tea for 2, I was very surprised to get a tea pot the same size I have had in many other restaurants and cafe that was a pot of tea for one. It certainly was not what I consider a pot of tea for 2 like other places I have ordered from. Not a particularly good review from me for the Driftwood, but in all my reviews I am always honest and hope it will go someway to improve things, and is as it is on the day of my visit. I will re emphasise that the owner did show concern and stated that he wanted to make sure we were happy with the meal, but the area was crowded with people and did not want to draw attention to this situation. I will add that the whitebait on the next table looked excellent.

took about 20 minutes to be delivered pizza was burnt and didn't taste nice and food wasn't hot food is normally alot better than that really disappointed

I ordered to my hotel, the driver apparently left my food at reception and didn't bother to notify me of this, reception threw the food away because I was waiting outside the hotel for my delivery and didn't go to the front desk until after I called the restaurant back, which was quite a while after. Useless

Great experience, one of the best authentic-tasting Pizza's! Ended up finding this spot after seeing the many positive reviews and awards the location has won. It’s a cozy, family-run restaurant with a limited but perfectly curated menu. The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Love this place. Pizza is the best in Hastings and combined with Brewing Brothers beers, I can't fault.

The most delicious breakfast with a generous amount of smashed avocado and poached egg, bacon with gorgeous dressing. The zingy freshly squeezed juice gave me the shot of Vitamin D I needed and strong oat latte finished off my delicious breakfast/brunch. Loved the art work and friendly team. Definitely will be returning next time in Chagford.

Really great place to go in Newquay- highly recommend for a beautiful view to watch the waves & people surfing! Delicious food & cocktails with outstanding customer service!
