Estaba buscando 'algún lugar agradable cerca de Hampden Park' antes del juego del domingo pasado y se encontró con este pequeño lugar encantador con excelente comida a un precio increíblemente barato. Los cuatro de nosotros tuvimos el pan floreciente tostado sándwiches con diferentes rellenos incluyendo pollo y tocino crujiente, salchicha toscana, etc con aderezos encantadores y lados de ensalada y ensalada de col, y que eran enormes. Luego tuvimos varios de los pasteles hechos en casa y estaban deliciosos. Al reservar nos dijeron que no tenían licencia para vender alcohol, pero nos dieron la bienvenida a traer el nuestro propio sin cargo por descorche. ¿Qué tan genial es eso? Así que disfrutamos de unas copas de vino con la comida y sentimos que estábamos en un hotel de alta gama! Los muy trabajadores y encantadores dueños amables de este pequeño establecimiento eran un placer tratar y todos estábamos enormemente impresionados con todo sobre el lugar. Si te apetece Sopas y la señora de la tarta te recomendaría reservar ya que había varias personas rechazadas cuando estuvimos allí.

Went here on quick Saturday tea and breakfast round. Ended up spending much more time here, doing some work and brief reading. The place is nice, specious and busy. Good food and very nice staff. Highly recommend.

Nos topamos con este encantador café por casualidad esta mañana en nuestro camino de regreso a la estación de tren. Ojalá lo hubiéramos encontrado antes durante nuestra estancia en Oxford. El café es luminoso, limpio y acogedor. Las sonrisas y la atención del personal fue maravilloso. En esta ocasión solo pedimos té, pero la selección de pasteles y sándwiches disponibles eran grandes y extremadamente buena relación calidad-precio. Sin duda volveremos en nuestra próxima visita. La joven que nos atendió era encantadora y el personal que está supervisando era tan paciente y atento. Fue la bebida más agradable, pero más barato de todo nuestro viaje.

This place is a little gem. Best Full English breakfast I’ve had in ages, a right bargain too. Staff are lovely - friendly and chatty. Such a great vibe. They’d run out of orange juice so went and bought some so I could have a glass. Also we left some stuff behind and they came and found us to return in. Would go again 100%. Lunchtime stuff looks amazing too, if I was local I’d be here loads!

I've been coming here since they opened and have been getting their takeaway afternoon tea since lockdown which has always been lovely. I have always received 4 slices for each of the sandwiches however I'm really disappointed that they have now cut the sandwiches to just 2 slices of each, so basically just 1 sandwich per person instead of 2. For £34.00 to collect, it's not really worth it now unfortunately. Also asked for no currents in the scones but received ones with them so they couldnt be eaten. Still tastes lovely though.

What a great place. They had closed early due to the weather when we arrived very wet after having been caught in a thunder storm. But they gladly made us coffee and hot chocolate which were delicious and allowed us to stay and warm up a bit. Awesome coffee, amazing staff. I just wish we could have got there earlier so we could try the cakes. I will certainly go there again

Great find and the food was amazing. Really nice vibe and efficient guys running it. The food is prepared in front of you and it all smells superb. A good choice of vegan options and good value for money overall. I will definitely be back.

Delicious pasta arrived piping hot and was a good portion too. Vegetable al dente and just right. Quick service.

Another of our several visits to The Green Apple Cafe & Bistro. We love coming here when in the area. Comforting food and very friendly staff.

Booked online excellent service confirmations etc .. on arrival was greeted by name which was a nice touch , even though it was only our third visit. We sat in the conservatory at the front but inside looked cosy and there is a bar area. There is a lunchtime special but we just chose what we fancied. Croquettes with truffle , mussels with cider chorizo and leek (delicious) calamari , albodingos (special) , patatas bravas . Nice wine ,good views ,excellent service .

It’s a good cafe for a quick bite and coffee, would recommend dropping in for a quick snack. Staff friendly and place was clean

Really enjoyed the experience.Pleasantly surprised by the covid measures on way in.Made to feel very welcome.This is probably the smallest restaurant I've ever been to, but the food and service were excellent. If ever back in Darlington will definitely go back.Highly recommended.

Ordered once again for dinner. Food came quickly, and at the perfect temperature to eat! Well priced, great tasting and super filling - the baklava is incredible. Fantastic experience overall.

Our first time at FortSix and it won’t be our last, it didn’t disappoint at all. We went with family for Sunday Lunch and although it was very busy the service was excellent, there was no waiting around and when the food arrived it was hot and delicious. It is very good value for money, the portions were more than generous, so much so that I couldn’t eat it all (although I did leave a little space for the dessert sharing plate and I’m pleased I did, it was superb) and I never had any more to eat for the rest of the day! Definitely going back.

Fabulous food, great beer, a lovely sphere and a fabulous venue, the pork Bon Bon sandwich, WOW, friends had the burger, chicken and loaded chips, all throughly delicious.
