Chamo Street Food in Preston

Visited here again last night and for me this restaurant is still the best in Preston. We tried several dishes including the beef loaded fries, cheese empanadas, beef croquettes, Shrimp Bobo and the loaded tacos. All absolutely beautifully presented and some of the tastiest food we have eaten. Watching the guys preparing the food shows the passion they have for providing this outstanding food. Thanks for another great meal and we will be back again soon.

We booked a table for 6 (4 +2 as the restaurant is quite small) online and arrived for our meal at the restaurant. After ordering our food, drinks arrived and we had a short wait for our meals freshly prepared in the open plan kitchen. The King Prawn Arepas were fantastic coupled with Vietnamese salad and beef croquettes. Equally tasty were the Mojo Beef Arepas served with pickled red onion, shredded iceberg lettuce, chimichurri and red chilli. We were a little nervous about our Granddaughters (aged 5 & 2) choices but they absolutely loved the kids chicken taco served with fries and an amazing cheese sauce. The chefs prepare some amazing quality food at this restaurant - we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Chamo was a recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent it looked fantastic and tasted even better. Small , unique place with staff that you can tell enjoy and like what they are doing and that comes across in the food I would recommend this place and look forward to coming back

The most amazing flavours and the arepas are so tasty along with the empanadas. Will definitely be back when next in Preston!

Absolutely loved the food at Chamo! This is a quirky little place, with great staff, fresh food made to order right in front of you and a lovely atmosphere. Will defo be going back soon!

Came in for some food with a friend - ordered the chicken tacos, was not disappointed. Great service from Junaid and AJ. Will be back!

Fantastic, freshly cooked food. Fast but like eating at a restaurant. Great vibes, friendly staff, good tunes, vibrant atmosphere.

Lovely food. Great service. Should have booked ended up sitting outside. Small restaurant will def book next time. Every dish is made by the owner to perfection.

Went to the restaurant yesterday with my partner who suffers from celiac and is very sensitive to cross contamination. Spoke to the guys in Instagram with tons of support and information, 99% of there food can be made gluten free, the use separate fryers and are extremely strict with there cross contamination. But.....most of all the food is absolutely Divine! Both left feeling extremely full but still wanting more. Delt mainly with Sam regarding the GF side and his knowledge and reassurance was second to none, if your around the preston area, just go...trust me 🔥 can't wait to go back and enjoy more of the menu!

Wow this is a great little café. Came in the evening and fortunately had booked, they were extremely busy. Didn't get the best of tables but we managed. The staff were working so hard in front of our eyes. They have beer and wine. The menu was enticing and the waitress helped us decide. Our choices were perfect. The food was very well presented and overall delicious. Good portion sizes. Not all together authentic South American but very good all the same. Will return to try their other dishes.

Some of the best food I've had in a long time. Would highly reccomend! A little more expensive than our usual local but absolutely worth it. Everything was made fresh to order and tasted amazing.

Excellent food and really friendly guys. Highly recommended. Went for lunch and was not disappointed. Excellent to have a range of dishes and share.
