Wow what can I say , I took my wife and kids to this place, the waiters got the orders wrong then said it’s what we ordered, food was very bad, rude staff, I won’t step inside the place again 223 of food for a ruined night,

*CASH/CARD ACCEPTED* First time here after 5 years. The management and style of food has changed. We had 10% student discount which in the past they'd usually take 10% off the whole bill but we was told they can only take 10% off one dish. This place seems to have gone quite tight and greedy. For starters we got lamb chops and chicken wings. They were good but not as good as they use to be. Everything seems to be dipped in a sauce now which is more or less the same. The chops are drowned in sauce which is a shame and the wings aren't the dry rub wings they use to serve. Main dishes of half a chicken was alright too. It was dry at some parts, other than that the salad was fresh and the chips were nice. Pizzas always were good here and I can say that's one thing that's not changed. Drinks wise they don't do jugs like they use to so if you go as a family or big group you'll have to order individually like we did. They also don't serve tap water and you have to pay for water. Dessert was up there with the worst I had especially paying about £7 for it. I do not recommend getting dessert from here. We ordered brownie with ice cream and it took 20mins or so, was close to canceling it. Brownie was very dry and didn't taste the best with ice cream straight out the tub. In my opinion there's better places if you're going to pay these prices and also better tasting food.

So me and my friends went to eat in the afternoon at 2pm..the whole place was empty and we had a voucher for 50 percent off which the worker explained that 50 percent off was only for mains excluding chops and platters.. however when we got to the till we got told 50 percent was only off one main..would not really go there again..

Food is fantastic.... thats about it. Service is absolutely terrible. They don't know the basics of service. Real let down. Always the same sadly. Lights are too dim and its very dark.

Order on uber eat and they didn’t sent drinks and sauces with it, paid 50 pound for 2 pizzas and mix grill the rice were smelling like nail paint.

Dont waste your time if you are looking for quality food.

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, food was a bit on the pricey side but potion sizes were good. However, there was no drinks menu, when asked told verbally a list of drinks, which is quite odd for a restaurant. Seeing the bill we realised why there are no drinks on the menu as we were charged £3.39 for a standard size of glass bottle of pop -which is extorniate.

Food is burnt and cold. Spicy sauce was put in the box not the original sauce

It was far to expensive and food was tasteless. I wouldn't recommend it.

We came here as a big group whilst out in Preston. The restaurant was a bit dead looking. Had a couple of tables in. We were seated immediately and we placed our order. Drinks never arrived until after the food considering it wasn't busy. The food came out hot. Overall it wouldn't be a place I'd rush back too.

They do the best food in Preston especially the chicken parmo me and the misses get this as Manjaros are the only ones who do a brilliant chicken parmo and I tell you what they didn’t dissapoint thank you Manjaros won’t be the last time we order I would highly recommend this place seriously the foods perfect always hot on arrival great communication skills from all staff there.

We had a takeaway and it was amazing. The chicken is fantastic. We come here alot for meals me and my partner and the food is amazing. Love coming me and ordering takeaway whenever we want to stay in Highly recommended 👌

Brilliant customer service, the pictures of the food don’t do it justice. The quality is fantastic, it comes hot and tastes delicious, cooked to perfection.

08.07.2024 We had a party at this place. The place was pre booked. The staff was very courteous and excellent service. They explained the food and also suggested the tastes that could suits us. The place is good, and the interiors are well decorated. Good place if you know what to select on the menu.

Its super expensive. Even after 25% discount they charged me £50 for 2 pamazans with 3 drinks. Ripoff.

A rather strange place. It’s trying to compete in the Nando’s niche - but trying to be different. It obviously has its regulars, but as someone entering for the first time, the menu was confusing and not all explanatory. When the food arrived, it arrived quickly and was well cooked - but surprisingly bland. Enthusiastic staff, always smiling, I was expecting more Caribbean flavours. I also thought it was on the expensive side for what we got. Good food, didn’t quite live up to menu, and relatively expensive. Worth a try if you’re in the area, but not worth a detour.

Nice place to enjoy a great meal. Upon arrival we were seated under 5 minutes. Great service and hospitality from Mariam and Victoria. Be careful of any offers they may have on, as they are not clear cut as you will expect.

All the chicken parmesans are lovely. Good portio sizes too.

We've ordered Manjaro's as a takeaway a few times now. Unfortunately we haven't had chance to go to the restaurant yet. The standard of the food is amazing. Very well presented and delivered and the quality is fantastic. The food is full of flavour and they give big portion sizes too. I highly recommend!

The place is very organized,staff members being superkind with us. We tried caribbean lamb this time,it was 10/10.The taste is something new,something smooth and great. The nature is like a halal restaurant,no porky staff,but the chicken and lamb dishes with their unique tastes compensates for that. They have a small range of mocktailes,because no alcohol available.The food deffienetly worth a glass of wine or champagne,but hey: no Saturday alcoholist gonna come and disrupt the dinner.

after giving lots of efforts by their staff they don’t give their pending wages, how bad that can be from such a reputed restaurant ,not worth to go and eat there.

Always come here cos i miss the parmo back home but its deffo lost the taste in here now chicken far to thick not even an escalope sauce was next to none on the parmo and cheese was very strong all round id give the parmo a 4 out of 10 wont be coming back was very disappointing wasent worth the money onion rings a fiver and they were cheap frozen ones 15 quid for a small parmo and they call is a large you go to boro get a parmo 3 times the size and tastes amazing for the same price as a small here avoid oh and you cannot ask for a glass of water you have to pay a fiver for a bottle honestly very disappointing needs closing staff all looked board and dident wanna be there i wont ever come here again deffo one of the nastyiest parmos i tasted lets not go there with the saggy salad looked asthough it had been sat there a week on me plate vile

My favourite dish was the Parmesan chicken. But the dynamite chicken was a bit overpriced but other than that it was amazing 🤩

Although the order was late, the restaurant provided a very prompt update with apologies. Food arrived hot, and was perfect as usual. Perfect service. Will absolutely order again!

Please note I only leave reviews if the service is exceptional or terrible. Unfortunately this was terrible. 1. Seating - We were given seats next to the toilets and unfortunately an unpleasant smell came as we were sat. We had to ask several times to move even tho the place was empty. The toilets really stank when we went to wash hands. 2. Pricing - A can of drink will set you back £3.75?? Mojitos £6.99?? No tap water as an option and extra charge for bring your own drinks (which is fine but forces you to pay for an overpriced can) 3. Atmosphere - The whole atmosphere was depressing. Very dim lights as half the lights in the place weren’t working and kept switching off mid meal (no exaggeration) 4. Staff were friendly but untrained and very inattentive 5. Food - Food was very average at best especially for the price you’re paying. Standard steak cut chips with everything, an out of packet salad and all the chicken taste the same (just add different sauce on top) Please save your money and get a takeaway. Not worth the money or time.

We always order from manjaros when i visit my family in preston. This time we decided to dine in, and it was not a great experience. Their menu for delivery menu is sadly not the same as restaurant menu and some of the dishes we really like for take away were not available for dine in. Also They refused to serve tap water! The worst bit was the service. Very poor, the waitress was bored and disinterested. However Their food remains flavourful and the chefs did their best. We have been put off by the service and will not dine in again.

No communication for the late delivery. Tried to call but no answer. Disappointing.

Nice food large menu what I love 2nd time here, staff friendly and quick, Do watch out for the photographer who does the insta though without asking had to minus a star for that as don't want to be famous half way through a bite of a burger 🤣

Ordered at 17.45 the delivery time showed 18.45 then changed to 19:00 then no food delivered and showed enjoy your food rang the restaurant said the driver still at the restaurant then then food didn't arrive till 19.20

Good food, but extremely expensive for what is essentially a jazzed-up fast food restaurant. On the menu it says "mixed skewers" (plural!), but what I got was a single skewer, with some warmed up bottled sauce, some average rice, a warmed up pitta and fast-food fries. The 4 or 5 cubes of meat were good, but for £18 it's absurdly expensive.

Food was really nice, service was a bit underwhelming staff seemed a little disinterested they changed waitress when taking our order and some of the order came wrong to the table. All the food that came was really nice couldn’t fault the taste and quality of the food. The biggest gripe was with the fact they forced us to pay for bottled water as they said they didn’t do tap water. They said it’s because they don’t sell alcohol which is irrelevant. The management need to be aware it’s against the law not to serve tap water if people ask in a restaurant. If I come again I will bring my own water or they will serve me tap water as I’m not paying £3.39 for a 33cl bottle of water it was ridiculous!

Cold food, steak chips were awful. Parmo was okay but not worth the money.

A mix of mains all 5* tasty, good portions, quality chicken . I'd recommend the chicken parma or the mushroom Waka Waka. The deserts however a mix of really good and the worst desert I've ever had. The chocolate brownie was amazing! Rich, full of chocolate flavour, good portion. The manjaros mess was shockingly bad! Not sure if the chef tried to pass it off and they'd ran out of the merginue, mangos and coulis but it literally was cream in a glass with some chopped nuts and a couple of tiny tiny cubes of mango. 5 of us ordered it and 5 of us couldn't eat it! Every single one of us was so dissapointed because of how awful it was. We did get it knocked off the bill and the waiters and waitresses were very lovely and attentive. My friend ordered a iron bru which cost her £3.75 and when we wer leaving we could see the cans in the fridge with a 69p sign on them which was a bit rubbish. All in all I'd definitely order the mains again and the chocolate brownie. Probably as a main due to the drinks being so expensive. R x

Food is nice but overpriced ! If you compare the old menu to the new one you will see £5 extra in every dish!

The service is amazing and the staff are all very friendly, but the music is so loud and it was VERY hot inside. The pasta was very flavourful, but there were more vegetables in it than actual pasta. The brisket burger had barely any brisket in it and was a little tough. The mash was amazing, though! They're also not boycotting so Coca Cola and such are still being sold.

First time eating here and will be the last, placed food order and drinks asked for tap water to be told we don't do it. First establishment I've been to that has ever refused water, food arrived and was bog standard for what they charge. Garlic bread came out on a cold plate, was still hot but still should of been on a warm plate. As I said first time but definitely my last, policy needs changing regarding water but suppose it won't happen when they want you to pay £3+ for a bottle.

No idea why a restaurant wouldn't serve you tap water. Only have tiny bottles of water that are very expensive. Ruined the whole experience despite decent food. Won't be coming back

Disappointed with the portion size of a mix grill chicken didn’t have that flavouring kick to it you would expect wouldn’t come again at all in future I would avoid and try else where

the garlic bread was delivered on the side and all squashed and coming out of the both stuck to it. the garlic bread with the pasta was not in the bag and the lid of the pasta was not on so the pasta was cold and leaked to the bottom of the bag, i have photos of all of this but i didn’t have the email delivered to be able to show this, i would appreciate another one to attach them to prove this

Do NOT order with Manjaros. They messed my order up so bad! Firstly me and my husband do night shift so thought we should order our food. We placed our order 2 HOURS before I was meant to leave home. Firstly they accepted the order and then delayed it 15 mins which was okay. Then delayed it a further 30 mins. I was panicking as I needed to leave for work. They then lied to me saying they used a taxi service for our food to be delivered. They used their own car as no taxi dropped our food off. An

I’d been wanting to eat from Manjaros for years but never got round to it. Pictures always look great and I wish I could back to wondering what could have been. Really disappointed. Really poor quality potatoes, half of them were black on the inside and they had all clearly been reheated. Ordered a kids pasta which my child couldn’t eat as it was spicy for him. The hot shot was ok, nothing special and underwhelming. Unfortunately won’t be ordering again.

I ordered 4x steak chips but only received 2 portions. I have been scammed! And the food was ice cold. It should be kept warm in this weather! Inedible!

Within two minutes of placing the order I got a message saying it’ll be delayed. So I waited 1 hour and 10 mins. Rang up to ask where it was but they said “he’s just left and should be 10 mins” then said he was stuck on another delivery. Which is contradicting. After 15 mins I rang again as it still hasn’t come. Asked where it was and it came five mins after that. Asked for compensation and was told to do it thru justeat. Food wasn’t worth it either.

First received a notice that the order was going to be late. Eventually turned up 20 minutes after the delayed estimate and when it did turn up the pizza was cold.

Very good with the exception of the garlic bread which is one measly little slice that looks like its come from a pack of 10 slices, also, the sweet potato fritters weren't fritters but rather chips that were quite soggy. The creamy Caribbean pasta was lovely though.

Good food but bit pricey now. Cant understand restaurants that refuse to serve tap water. First time in my years of going out that they didnt know what blackcurrant and lemonade was.

The food wasn’t the usual standard but more to do with the delivery. The boxes were squashed so the pizza topping was on the cupboard lid and the hot sit was squashed too.

My order arrived stale and cold and the meat was pink in the middle, I couldn’t even eat it.

Order marked as "delivered" within expected delivery time, however only arrived 30 minutes after..

One of the food items was missing , but after a call to the vendor it was delivered very quickly afterwards. Food was great, would use again.
