Popty Pizza in Isle of Anglesey

Absolutely brilliant place found by chance… some of the best pizza we have eaten…. Don’t be deterred by the outside its looks like a shack…. The food and the service is excellent….

Never disappointed with the pizza at Popty Pizza. The best on the island. Great food and service and resident dog is a lovely bonus too! Very reasonable prices for their pizzas which are huge.

We visited here again in February and as always the pizzas were just superb. Super friendly service and great value. We come here regularly and every time the service and pizzas are superb. There are proper pizzas and not the rubbish you get at the high street takeaways.

BEWARE if you are vegan...they say they can do vegan pizza using vegan cheese. They use honey in the dough, they said a small percentage but they obviously have no idea what vegan is and that we don't eat it!! This is false advertising and they need to make it clear their pizza are not VEGAN. We had drinks and left.

Wonderful pizza and prawn starters great service and top quality food well worth visiting and fabulous value for money . Great drinks selection lots of gins and cocktails Staff were very accommodating in be of our party is gluten free no problem all prepared separately and cooked in the oven on a tray so no cross contamination 10/10

This looked to be a great find. Hidden away. The staff are lovely, pizzas look fantastic, proper oven ....but....they're just awful soggy pizzas. Ended up scooping sludge into our mouths and the plates after were visibky soaked with liquid. Please please just give them an extra 2 mins in the oven!

This restaurant is a little hidden gem, behind the Oriel Mon gallery and looking at golf course. It has a simple Im interior, but really good starters and pizzas, cooked fresh in front of you. Tiramisu generous and to die for. Staff really friendly and helpful. Not desperately smart but happy staff and good background music give it a great vibe.

The best pizzas we've had in a long time. The incredibly helpful waitor was more than happy to accommodate my allergies and they even did a pizza with 1/4 of it left plain for my daughter. The restaurant itself was basic with some ecletic decor but with the music in the background had a Carribean vibe. We had a lovely evening out, just sad it's the end of our holiday so can't come back.

Popped in on a Saturday evening and we were seated straight away, the service was a little chaotic (they were clearly very busy!) but super friendly. The menu had a great selection and the pizzas came out fast after we’d ordered. Really nice neopolitan style but properly cooked (sometimes this style of pizza can be a bit underdone in the middle - not so here!). Great place run by lovely people, would highly recommend

We are regulars here and the pizzas are spot on every single time. No frills, just superbly made wood fired pizzas and a friendly atmosphere. Don’t expect Dominos style pizzas - these are the real thing and utterly superb.

This is such a beautiful welcoming place with delicious food. You’ll never believe how good it is until you go. Take the trip there it’s super cool decor vibes staff food and music all really reasonable too.

Rather odd location by the museum outside Llangefni, but easy walk from village centre. Fun restaurant, with really very good pizza dough. Seating where you can see all the action from stretching to topping wood fired oven and then packing for the takeaway.
