Lovely little bar in Knutsford. They do lovely cocktails and the attention to detail with the drinking glasses they use makes it feel that extra special. Wanted to share this as things like this makes you remember certain places. We came again on the 17 December with a group of friends, all couples. We were looking forward to having a few drinks here after such a positive experience last time. Unfortunately when we arrived just before 10pm on. Saturday Night there was already a group of people inside drinking. As soon as we entered the bar the staff told us they were closing due to running out of drinks . When we asked what drink they had run out of he informed us he had run out of beer, coke and ice. Clearly he was assuming this would be what we wanted to order, when in fact we wanted something totally different.It was clear they no longer wanted to take anymore orders as they wanted to close early. I feel I needed to raise this review in case the owner is unaware that her staff are closing early, which indicates to customers that don’t want to be bothered serving anymore. This could impact a business significantly and it would be a shame to see such a nice place close due to being inconsistent with their closing times..

We had four excellent pizza and good beer and wine. Very friendly service and great value. nice music playing

We called in for a few beers before a meal and really enjoyed the experience. Good quality craft beers in a great room which was ideal for conversation.

We wanted to visit Project 53 in Knutsford after going to the one in Stockport last year. We visited twice over my boyfriends birthday weekend and really enjoyed it. Good selection of beers and we would really recommend the pepperoni pizza bites!

Good beer in a friendly environment. Pizzas were great too. Does well to keep it simple with range of beers / gins and pizzas - deserves to do well!

Interesting diner with selection of beers and pizzas. Dog friendly! Toilets upstairs so not access friendly.

Great selection of local beer served in a cosy welcoming setting with friendly staff. Can't go wrong. Mixture of families, some with dogs, couples, and friend groups while we were there. The pizza looked good. Was plenty of space upstairs if downstairs is full. Enjoyed the street party while the street was closed.

Visited this place several times with friends and family. They have a great range of beers and gins. The pizza’s are the best I have had for a while!!

We live in Knutsford and are huge fans of many of the bars and pubs. We’ve been to Project 53 before for a few drinks and thought it was ok. We went today and had some drinks and pizza and actually enjoyed it more. They have a great selection of beers and some wonderful gins but they are a little gimmicky by putting sweets in the gin making it feel a little cheaper like Revolutions. They play some great music, the staff are helpful and they have an upstairs setting area as well. The pizzas are also excellent and they have a vegan offering as well. Will definitely go back but there are preferred places to go drinking in town.

Visited with a couple of friends last month for a few beers. Staff are great and really clued up. Will definitely be back

A great place with a huge range of beers. The vegan ones taste wonderful, but do look a bit strange.

We stumbled across this place by accident and I’m glad that we did! Excellent selection of gins and we had the gin teapot which was lovely. Also, one of the best pizzas I’ve had for some time. Looking forward to coming back again :)

After seeing a review in the beer magazine Out Inn Cheshire we felt we must visit,and great it was from the start was a really warm welcome & such a nice place.The beer was excellent(3 cask) & a short but interesting wine list.We ordered pizzas which were truly excellent.We couldn't fault anything and will be back soon.But it was the lovely staff who capped it all!!!

Having failed to get into Gusto tonight (as they were far too busy!) we floated round Knutsford in desperate need of a good pizza, not the rubbish piccolinos et al serve, but good, tasty pizza. We stumbled across Project 53 on Minshull Street and I feel I must share with you, my fellow Mobbites, what a great evening we’ve had. I’m no relation to, or have any monitory interest in the Mobberley brewing company near the Church Inn at Mobberley but these guys have opened up in Knutsford to serve their excellent ales, lagers and a various amount of great gins. To go with their drinks they have a small menu of bar food and snacks. We had olives and chilli smoked nuts to start followed by 2 varieties of pizza, all fab and I highly recommend you pay these local boys a visit, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Don’t expect silver service but do expect, good, simple food, good drinks, good music and a good atmosphere. A rare, honest find.

I absolutely love this place. They’ve got such a good selection of gin and beers. Every time we go in they have new beers on tap which means you’re always trying something new. As for Gins they have a wide selection (orange marmalade is a must try). Staff are really friendly and the place has a good atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and if you get hungry you can always order wood fire pizzas at the bar.

My husband went for the first time on a Christmas party and promptly took me 2 nights later as he was so impressed.

Managed to reserve an area of the bar for a short notice Christmas drink-up with colleagues and friends - Olly was very helpful in sorting this out.

Came to visit the Knutsford Project 53 having been to and loved the Stockport Project 53. These guys serve a great range of fabulous beers, huge selection of unusual gins, some great wines and the best pizzas ever! This bar has a really cosy, intimate feel. The décor is great and the staff really enthusiastic and attentive. A must visit place and we will be back!

Nice place, pizza very tasty- light, crispy, lots of flavour. good selection of beers. Child friendly. Prompt service all made for a pleasant visit with a nice view of the street.
