The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Pizza pasta food

Absolutely terrible. I went in and to the counter to order coffee and buy a cookie for my child. I was completely ignored, there was no one in the queue and approx 3 tables of people. It was not busy at all. What would it take to say “Hi there, be with you in a mo”? I might add I’m nearly 9 months pregnant and clearly very uncomfortable (not their fault granted). Waited for 7/8 mins whilst two staff were behind the counter doing their best to ignore me and then walked out. Utterly, utterly useless. I grew up in Redhill and was back today for the first time in nearly 20 years, it is a crying shame that people have become so unbelievably rude in the area.

Probably our worst experience at a Pizza Express ; slow service ( when the waiter came to take the order he seemed clueless about what was on the menu and we had to show him what we wanted) long wait for drinks ( my glass of Prosecco was not full as waiter was carrying it in such a way some spilt and was running down the glass) starter never came, when mains arrived we sent them back because starter hadn’t arrived then they brought the starter and immediately returned the mains to table ( we sent starter back) meantime my pizza was going cold. My husband lasagne was all sauce no meat, boiling hot on the outer layer but lukewarm in the centre. When we asked for condiments they didn’t come straight away and when they did the pepper grinder was empty. We asked for the bill having made it clear to the manager that we weren’t very happy- she did apologise and returned with the bill stating they hadn’t charged us for the polenta fries - which we didn’t have !!! Having paid and about to leave the waiter then returned to clear the table and asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu! ( which had we not been so unhappy we would have had as well as more drinks- although we weren’t asked if we wanted another one during our time there either ) I appreciate it was busy however there were a lot of staff who didn’t appear to be particularly well organised. If we’d been offered a drink by way of an apology I wouldn’t be leaving this review . I wish we’d dined elsewhere as both the quality of both the food and customer service were very poor . I

Absolutely fantastic every single time, I visit this establishment regularly and would like to say I love the atmosphere, food music and vibes from this place. Never had a bad experience at all. Always would like to say the new manager Eddie or Aidie is absolutely fantastic. He's done a great job of running the place and training the new guys up. He always go out his way to make sure everybody visiting is happy and has always went above and beyond with the exceptional service he provides and he's doing a great job and he obviously cares for all customers. Keep up your hard work and i can't wait to return. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

beautiful mozzarella sticks and gorg pizza. slow service but worth it

Brilliant pizzas, bought a cheese n Salami and a ham n mushroom. The salami one was very tasty We are visiting the area and will call again in the future 👍👍

Disgusting and over priced. Couldn't even get a garlic bread right. The peperoni pizza was soggy and full of raw veg, the special was soggy and tasted awful. The only good thing was a friendly delivery.

My mother lived in wickwar for 97 years, so when she passed away it was fitting that we had the wake at the fox and maple, being it was on lunch time we had a selection of sandwiches and hot food ( chips, quiche, chicken strips, sausage rolls etc ) coffee and tea, we even had takeaway boxes provided to take food home with us, I would just like to say you done my mum proud, one big thank you to all. Order placed online. Order was accepted online, email confirmation received and credit card transaction was posted, but when I turned up to collect, the shop was closed.

Can honestly say it’s the best kebab we’ve had in a very long time. The salad was excellent and the meat tastey. It was delivered on time.

The choo- poo burger is great and so are all of the pizzas. The staff are amazing! Would definitely recommend if your in the area

Popped in to purchase some takeout food, despite there being a minimum spend of £3 on card payment sign there was no signage to suggest it was cash only. Queued for a while & then began to place my, not insignificant, order to be told cash only, suggest HMRC pay this place a visit. Definitely will avoid in future. Tbh food didn’t look particularly appealing.

Tan medio. Precios altos y para QUÉ son platos de papel y comida pobre. Tenía 50 / 50 nduja y margarita y era tan medio. Los tomates eran la única parte decente, pero es una cocina horrible. El brócoli es horrible, es acuoso y hervido, considerando que cuesta £ 25 por una pizza, es una locura la poca habilidad que tomó hacer. Las sillas son incómodas y los platos son literalmente desechables, DEJA de cobrar de más

5 star for the staff, for looking after us on busy Saturday night They were clearly understaffed as are most pubs and restaurants We waited for food little bit for obvious reasons , soon as they realised they offer us delicious focaccia with olive oil We shared porterhouse steak , it was cooked perfectly . We will come back probably not on weekends but weekdays when is not that busy .

Such a warm friendly atmosphere. The menu had a variety of choices. We had fish and chips and a burger. Both were excellent. The wait staff was superior and the drinks just right. Best of all, they are open on Sundays as well as late. Hope to return here before the end of our trip.
