Ruby Murray's in Newark and Sherwood

Ordered kebab last night it was disgusting and tasted off and really old leaving an horrible after taste and after one strip left it all. Called to tell them and he said it’s fresh what do you want me to do! Clearly wasn’t fresh as we normally order weekly and never have a problem. Won’t be ordering weekly now after the rubbish service and no help. Didn’t even feed it the dogs🤮

The food is less the mediocre it was vile. It is not what you are expecting from an Indian restaurant. The curry was like chipshop curry🤮🤮 and the southern fried chicken had no flavour the roti are stale shop brought frisbees save you money do not order from here. Iceland curries have more taste

I have tried tonight their food and it’s absolutely amazing and specially the aroma was outstanding and I enjoyed their vast menu because it gives a choice to choose my favourites. I’m saying this place is worth it.

please don't use I found hair in my food to me it look like pubic hair. also the order was wrong. they tried to give me somebody else's when questioned it. they told me to ring just eat and sort it out with those very rude and put the phone down. please avoid. these are being taken over and not the same people from before use the tuxford one instead

Avoid at all costs this place has gone so down hill gave them 2 chances 1st the food order come wrong and when we rang was very rude and said we just need to take it up with just eat and put the phone down second payed for a large chicken kebab it come cold and it had like 5 pieces of chicken in there when we complained got told that was a large we had being given and was not willing to sort it out total rip off avoid this place at all costs use the tuxford one instead by far better service and you get way more for your money

Disgusting food, poor customer service and food was re-heated. Ate it and caught food poisoning. Will Never go back to this horrible place. Not even worth 1 Star and hygiene is atrocious.

Absolutely Brilliant Takeaway to order food from. Top quality curry that's sells a absolutely amazing pizza. Great Business Meal with very high end clients and was not let down by the owners at this business. As a rule I order from a good quality takeaway within 3 miles as the food is best quality via transit and these guys were around the corner from the business meeting

Masculine idiots who refused to believe out order was wrong “darling you don’t know what you ordered” donor instead of chicken is a very simple thing to see is wrong though. Refused to believe us and refused to put it right. Do not order from them ever

£8 for a few small pieces of chicken tikka. Outrageous.

Had a 14" meat feast pizza delivery driver was very polite. Pizza 🍕 was absolutely 💯 👌

Awful. Paid £9 for a large chicken tikka donner. 8 very small pieces of chicken, pitiful 'salad' and drenched in hot sauce, inedible! Called to complain and got dismissed. Never again 😒

First time ordering from these guys a few weeks back and decided that its definitely going to be our new regular! Fresh and hot food with good portion sizes and a quick and polite delivery service to edwinstowe. Cheers guys!

Our regular takeaway was closed so we decided to try this place. Wow...the food was amazing I think I've found a new favorite 😍 Delivery was reasonable and food was piping hot. Definitely recommend 😁

Great service, all food halal and no pork. We stayed at sherwood forest centre parks and looked for a halal place to eat outside and this was the only one we could find locally, the others were questionable

Great Food, Great Staff The food never disappoints

In my experience, superb doner kebab. Freshly cooked meat, plenty of it on a medium, good salad and sauce all in a tasty naan bread. Always friendly and polite service, food always ready on time if I call to order. Cannot fault this place. I only eat a takeaway once every couple of months and it’s always from here. I travel 7 miles to get it and it’s well worth it.

I’m from ollerton originally, my husband is from Barnsley, and we travel all the way down just for their food! Hubby says it’s the best around he absolutely loves it!

The best pizza around hands down. Can’t ever go back to any others! Proper pizza 👌👌 stuffed crust is unreal, always red hot and arrives on time or early!

Second time if ordering for delivery and fourth time I've used ruby Murray's and I have always found the service and food to be excellent

My niece who has asthma went into the takeaway and asked for a glass of water. The staff were more than happy to help and even gave her a bottle of it instead. Thank you very much, such friendly staff.

Normally the service is really quick but o am so disappointed. The last 2 times i ordered it too well over an hour for the food to be delivered. An hour and a half after ordering, i still dont have my delivery. When i called i asked where my order was, i was told to listen and that my order was on its way. Bad customer service!! Howeverthe food tastes good

we got a few things to try as got kids who are picky.. well the most picky one of all loved the chocolate sundae (we all did tbh, can see this one being ordered again) and the rest of us liked the waffles and cookie dough too. food was delicous, good sized portions and the dough and waffles was lovely and warm while ice cream was frozen. will order again

Ordered whilst staying in nearby holiday home. Fast delivery, impressed they found our lodge fine in the park, friendly delivery driver, food was still hot, decent lamb kebab, fried chicken and chips ! Mozerella sticks and popcorn chicken a little dissapointing - but after a long day travelling, hungry and needing a late night dinner, all in all, pretty good!

A joke, 30 minutes past the 1hr 20 min delivery ETA and still no delivery. I was told it has left but I can cancel if I want. I was told, do not order from here again by the restaurant when cancelling. Haha like I would order from you again. Top service 🤣 bunch of jokes! I would avoid it if I were you.

Ordered 20 minutes after opening time. No food after 1hr so called to ask where it was, was told it would be with me on 5 minutes. 1 hour later still no food so called again to be spoke to in a DISGUSTING manner. When I made a complaint on Facebook the owner just laughed it off. Very unprofessional, bad customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Excellent service and we really enjoyed the food.

I wouldn't give no stars at all I ordered food at 8:00pm my food did not arrive until 10PM. When the food arrived it was freezing cold and the chips were really hard and the delivery driver was so rude I would not recommend this place to order food I am absolutely disgraced at their service so I give no star rating I will not be returning here!.

Fantastic deserts, ordered a few different ones, ice cream sundaes were epic very big and exactly what I wanted. Arrived still forzen and ice cold. Would have been nice to have an option to have the churos with no sauce. Will be ordering again as we were very happy.

Me and my partner ordered from Ruby murray's desserts tonight the driver was lovely as its a pain trying to find our house but we got the all I need waffle and the Ferrero rocher milkshake the best we've had yet can't believe how many topping you get they don't hold back thank you very much defiantly going to be ordering again can't believe we've never ordered from here before until tonight 😁🥰

Was amazing best we had from here in ages but yet the food has been great every time can’t moan at all it brilliant I’m my eyes even my 6 year old loves the food from ere.

Amazing food (would the cookie dough be safe to eat tomorrow?) Loved the ice cream and fella loved the choc fudge cake not sure on the churros maybe not my thing but was amazing to try then for the first time

Fantastic!! I was a regular of Ruby Murray’s for Pizza, Kebabs etc but have not been for a while because I was trying to cut down on takeaway food but I fancied a treat so thought I would try a milkshake and some churros and wow! they were both better than I expected and I really enjoyed them, the owners that work there are genuinely really nice people, I would definitely recommend you try it if you want something really nice as a treat

The dessert wasn’t as expected. Tasted a little off, as if it was cooked with fish! Furthermore, everything was awful to the taste. I will definitely not be ordering from this place again

Great desserts. The ice cream is really tasty and well made, creamy and smooth as silk. The churros are really tasty but on the two occasions I ordered them order notes were not followed. First time I asked for no chocolate on the churros, just on the side but they came drenched in chocolate which was a shame as ordered the largest one but the kids wouldn't eat them so went to waste. Second time I ensured I rang up to highlight the notes and the churros didn't have chocolate on them but no dips were supplied on the side so I had to dig the jar of Nutella out. Overall I would definitely recommend this joint.
