King Kebab in Northumberland

We always use king kebab while in the area. We normally go for a kebab as these are great, tasty and massive in size. This time we ordered pizza. It was a bit cold when arrived but I put put it in the oven for five minutes no big deal. These guys are always our first port of call when we arrive in the area.

Ordered a delivery to the Purdy lodge. I was told two hours for delivery which we were ok with as we were in no rush to eat. I informed them I would be paying by card which was no issue and was told the driver would bring their chip and pin machine. The food came within two hours so I went to the front to collect and pay although they didn’t have their chip and pin machine with them like they said they would. We managed to sort out a bank transfer on the spot. The food good as usual. Great kebabs and friendly staff. We will be back but I will make sure we have cash next time.

I highly recommend this place, the kebabs are fantastic, the mixed house kebab with koft, chicken and donna all cooked perfectly. Salad served separately with cabbage, onion and lettuce so you don't end up with a soggy kebab. Would definitely use again.

Use this takeaway every time I visit Seahouses and never had a bad one yet. Fresh ingredients and dough, on tome delivery and reasonably priced. Cannot recommend highly enough, wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Have been here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Delicious doner kebabs in a wrap. Huge portions. Would recommend

Really disappointing meal from this well reviewed place - perhaps we have been spoilt by our local kebab shop but this place is worth avoiding. Yes they give you loads but most of ours went in the bin because the meat was unrecognisable, tasteless and inedible. One to avoid I am afraid.

Having arrived quite late to our holiday cottage, strolled through the town to find everything had closed. However when we reached the top end of the street, we found this Kebab Shop. I’m not a fan of this type of fast food normally but I was very impressed with the layout inside for Covid measures so I thought I would give it a go.Food was excellent, service was prompt and staff very friendly. Good value for money and would recommend.

We have this every Sunday night. But we are not a fan of the new fries apart from that. The food is good and the delivery is quick

Ordered by phone for pizza to be delivered. Driver rang a few minutes ahead of arriving as we ordered for delivery at camping site. Lovely pizza. Recommend.

First day in the area after lockdown and we decided on a takeaway. We have used king kebab quite a few times in the past and are always happy with the kebabs. They are hot, fresh tasting served with a great separate salad and chilli sauce. We first rung around 7pm and was told by a female that there would be a two hour wait as they were busy. I initially said no to making an order but then decided fifteen minutes later to call back and place an orderI asked again how long for delivery and was told 45 minutes?? We then received our food 15 minutes later. Very happy, great service and two nice delivery drivers who came all the way to luckerSpot on and we will be back. Thanks King Kebab

Definitely worth a try if you are hungry.put it this way you won't when you have been to this place.

As usual great fresh kebabs and delivered all the way to Purdy Lodge on the a1. Nice friendly service as well. Will be back next time we are in the area. Thanks guys and girls

We ordered a chicken kebab and spicy pizza to have while on holiday. The food was called in and ready in 15 minutes. The kebab was nice enough, decent portion, chilli sauce good. The pizza had a decent amount of toppings and if any criticism it was slightly salty but very nice. All in all a decent takeaway at good prices.

Around £12 for a doner kebab and an medium vegetarian pizza. Cooked to order and ready in about 15 minutes. A few tables and chairs inside the restaurant but its mainly for people waiting for their orders - definitely a take away place. The kebab was good although the chilli sauce lacked a bit of oomph, plenty of fresh salad and the pitta bread held together. The pizza was straightforward (a little salty if anything) and when I asked if there were any optional extra's I could add (capers, olives etc) I was told no: fair enough. The whole pizza got eaten anyway. Would definitely return.

This place is well worth a try 12in pizza very good lots of topping & perfectly cooked, staff very welcoming. Give it a go

We were in Seahouses for a week and discovered this takeaway just five minutes from our front door so would have been rude not to try! So glad we did,the staff were super friendly and the pizzas were fresh hot and delicious- id go as far to say the best meal we had all week!

We ordered a chicken kebab and two cheeseburgers and chips,had to waite half an hour for the chicken kebab as they were busy and had five to cook before our order!!the kebab was fresh and the pitta wasn't soggy the salad was fresh and crispy just the way it should be.The cheeseburgers were also fresh with no soggy buns and fresh salad the chips were not oily all very good

We ordered a chicken kebab with salad and it was delicious. The chicken was very tender and there was loads of it. The salad was really fresh as well and great value at £6:50.

On holiday in Beadnell ordered a couple of pizzas and a few extras had to wait an hour but it was absolutely delicious, great pizza and extras would definitely use again

Ordered a delivery to bamburgh. As always fresh tasting kebabs with a great chilli sauce. They are very big so be warned. The best kebabs I have tasted in the U.K. We will be back

We phoned our order in from our holiday cottage and they delivered. The pizza didn’t look particularly appetising but it was delicious. The chips were less good but the pizza made up for it. I thought the prices were a little higher than I was used to though

Other than Indian or fish & chips limited to what take aways in area. Decided to go for a kebab, ordered a calzone kebab and a chicken kebab. Lady serving was friendly

Wow, you need to be hungry to tackle a kebab or a parmo from this place, the quantaties were overwhelming and beat us, for junk food it was a good feed.

Found the menu on Facebook, this is open for pizza, kebabs, chips etc when all the chippies are shut. It's right on the roundabout of Main Street & King St. Parking at rear/ side off King Street. Happy with service & food. Used twice whilst in the area.

Visited the takeaway with my wife and daughter (again). Decided to eat-in using one of the small tables provided.

We often use king kebab for our weekend takeaway and love it . This weekend we place an order and my daughter had friends to sleep over sadly the order came and it was wrong . My husband wrang king kebab, they couldn’t have been more apologetic and re sent our food thank you very much x

Quick fast delivery all the way to Belford only 25 minutes. Love the kebabs they taste very fresh and we will be back in the near future. Thanks king kebab

Tried this place for the first time tonight, we chose the peri-peri chicken kebab and the Mexican pizza, both were very tasty and hot and the pizza was really spicy with great texture, having the crispy jalapeños on top. Highly recommended for a quick dinner

We have kebabs once a week after a hard weeks work. We are always quite disappointed with the quality but they are cheap and fill a hole after several drinks.

Friendly, clean, fast service. The best in Seahouses. The portions are huge and the owner is extremely accommodating. Highly recommended.

Had 2 weeks in seahouses and visited this takeaway shop on a few occasions. The food is lovely, chicken kebabs with salad, pitta and sauce separate, perfect. Pizzas good too, don't pay overpriced at nearby locations when this takeaway is every bit as good if not better....

The pizza (vegetable) was very tasty and took about 15 minutes to cook. It was worth the wait it was so tasty and the topping was vey generous.

First time getting food from here, and boy did it not disappoint at all.

We have visited Seahouses a few times. And if you fancy a night in well i would recommend this place. Pizzas are lovely chicken fillets are nice we have had great delivery service and also collected.

Wanted a tuna pizza. They had ran out of tuna, but rather than making us pick something else, the lad came out from behind the counter, and went to the local shop to buy tuna. Great service, well done.

Decided to eat in one evening so 3 of us chose kebabs of different varieties. Lots of meat, a generous separate salad portion plus a sauce of your own choice. Very good value for money. The only criticism of the food was the chicken in the mixed and special kebab was rather dry. Also with the large 2 kebabs it would be nice to having an extra pitta thrown in as you end up with a load of meat left over!

Stopping in Beadnell but went into Seahouses to get a pizza and are we glad. A well loaded 12” pizza £7-50 and better than any dominos I have had at half the price. 100% recommend if stopping in the area. Very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. You can also get chips,burgers, nuggets, chicken and of course kebabs

Ordered this on first night. Phoned through and had delivered. Arrived 20 mintues latee. Hot and large portions. Would order again. Loved the mixed of salad you got with the kebab. It arrived seperate to the kebab as did the sauces. Would reccomend.

My son and I had a dinner kebab very taste large portion of salad and sauce. Husband has burger and chips which he enjoyed. Youngest had pepperoni pizza. Nice friendly staff good quality food reasonably priced would recommend

Huge family order plus one of us with severe nut allergy. Couldn't have been more helpful, making separate order just to make sure. Delivered to the door (twice as they came with nut free separate meal at no extra charge). Honestly couldn't have been more helpful and food was lovely.

First time in here. We phoned in our order and picked it up 20 mins later. It was pretty average but every other place was so busy we had no choice.

Large family night away. Rang and ordered 12 pizza/kebabs and extras. Food was still hot and lovely no complaints from anyone. Delivered direct to the door. Excellent service.

We were staying in Beadnell over the Christmas week and decided to have a takeaway for our last meal. We made an order with King Kebab as they delivered and we were not disappointed! We ordered Chicken Kebabs, a small Mexican pizza and chips. All were absolutely delicious, and were delivered earlier than expected. The salad and sauce came in separate pots for the kebab and was plentiful. The pizza had plenty of toppings and not greasy. The chilli and garlic dips were divine.

First time we have used King Kebab the service was excellent, we went for a home delivery as we couldn't be asked to go out, they said half an hour and they were spot on.

Ordered house kebab to be delivered. We were staying in Belford which is at least 8 miles from King Kebab but delivery wasn't a problem very tasty, fresh ingredients. Would visit again

After several recommendations thought we’d give this place a try. Had a few drinks on a Saturday night and went for food at 10:30 only to be met with a closed door. Was confused as the closing time was listed online as 11pm. A man gestured through the window for us to enter but as we explained the door was locked another man yelled they were now closed!!!! Such a shocking display of service. We wanted to place a sizeable order but our business apparently not good enough. Give it a miss.

A kebab is big enough to feed a family of 4. I wish we knew this before ordering. Also would not order the Donner. It's fake meat. We will try it again but be aware of these two things.

I love myself a good kebab. But there isnt a place between Edinburgh and Newcastle that can do a decent one bar King Kebab.

Only place in seahouses we could find that would deliver to the wigwams, not a great selection of vegetarian options available, although we were starving and made do, quick delivery and nice hot food.

We pre ordered a spicy pizza and chicken kebab and picked up on the way back to our holiday cottage. The food was really good, excellent for a tourist destination. Reasonable price and nice staff. Give this place a try.

Yep ...makes pizza and kebab ..all sorts and if you need chips can get thes in as well. Simple no frills stuff for takeaway filler after a day out

Quick service, clean and tidy shop. We ordered two donner kebabs and chips. The kebabs were really tasty and the portions were very generous.

We decided to get a takeaway whilst on holiday and chose this place due to the excellent reviews. I don't know if we just hit on an off day but the food we ordered was terrible. We ordered kebabs which were cold and dripping with grease and a kebab pizza which the toppings were burnt and crunchy. None of us ate our food, it all went in the bin, not on for the price we paid for it! I never leave bad reviews but this place definitely deserves one! Inedible!

We where recently on holiday in seahouses and due to the weather being wet and raining we decided to order in from king kebab for the first time as they deliver. We thought it was really nice and also arrived very hot so we will be using it again

On holiday in Beadnell and found a flyer advertising the King Kebab takeaway in our holiday accommodation. Ordered for delivery, service fab, food great massive portions and delivered in less than an hour. Would definitely recommend.

Called in here while on holiday with my partner. Ordered the houses special kebab and a pizza.

The calzone special is fantastic,pizza is really good,chips are perfect!Also they have a selection of milk shakes and cakes !!!

Collected our order, nice clean waiting area and open kitchen. Obviously busy but didn't take long for the food to be cooked. Excellent all round.

We ordered a delivery, took advantage of this as we have never had a delivery in seahouses before, the food that came was lovely, fair prices, only down side was the wait, we were told 45mins - 1 hour for delivery and it came an hour and a half after we ordered, next time we will just order a collection

Well not much to say, pizza are ok, but had better, but then again, you would pay a lot more. Kebab is again ok had worse. I will go again

Due to it being out of Season all of the usual Fish & Chip places were closed up by the evening. We visited here midweek in the late Evening, the place was pretty busy with locals ordering which was a good sign, noted they also do a delivery service.

Sat in our holiday cottage in Beadnell and fancied something. Had a House Special kebab, two is us could not eat it all - massive portions. Salad and choice of sauce, along with pitta bread. I don't think anyone could finish one off.

took kebabs back to caravan one evening, still hot by the time we got back, and one of the best Kofteh I have ever had., was all served separately, pitta and meat wrapped in foil, salad in a tub on the side, also the mayos served individually, so you could have as much salad and mayo as you wanted, one of the best kebabs in a long time.

Stayed at Beadnell and ordered for delivery. Very prompt and piping hot. Burgers were great, good veggie burger. Portions of chips good size. Pizza very tasty.

Used their delivery service for pizza while on holiday. Arrived earlier than promised and was of a good standard. Nice soft crust and not soggy. Would recommend.

Really nice place, pizza nicest in seahouses, kebab as good if not better than my local one at home, potato wedges really nice also would highly recommend will be back before we go home

This newly opened takeaway was ideal for the family that couldn't make up its mind on what to eat ! Very friendly staff and great selection of food from pizza to kebabs to chicken nuggets .... Thoroughly recommended !

We treat ourselves to a kebab from here on a recent visit. I had donner & my husband had donner & chicken. They were delicious. Got loads of good. We got two servings each from them. The donner meat was the leanest I have ever tasted. Well worth a visit
