The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in Central Scotland

Without doubt this is one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. The quality of the food : the presentation and value 5 star. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. Certainly we will be returning and would highly recommend a visit.

Went for lunch with 3 friends. An excellent experience of fine dining at a token gesture price. The students were wonderful and the Chef students interesting and friendly to talk to. Surprised more people aren’t enjoying this experience.

After my trip to Fife, this was the restaurant I said “Man, I wish we’d eaten there more before we left.” Amazing food and beautiful location. Delicious veggie options.

Fantastic experience. Good choice. Good facilities and ample parking.

Just a shame that they have done away with the restaurant and full shop!

Tuvimos un delicioso almuerzo en el Flame Tree al visitar Dundee. Visitamos ya que tenían buenas opciones sin gluten. Disfruté de un sándwich de queso tostado GF y tomate con algunas patatas. Incluso pude comprar algunos Tim Tams sin gluten que eran increíbles. Uno de los mejores almuerzos que tuvimos en nuestro viaje a Escocia. Precioso café también - se sentía muy acogedor e inclusivo.

We were a group of nine from England visiting family and were looking for an early dinner. We chose here because they had a good gluten free menu which two people needed. Genuinely can’t fault this restaurant, from the service, Ellie May was our server to the food, the decor and the value for money. I note that a few months ago there were a couple of reviews that mentioned the portion size had reduced and it had got pricey, this was our first visit but all agreed the portions were huge and was excellent quality and value. The double pork chop was a particular hit but the ribs were great as were the burgers and the GF options were fab. We ordered about 5 sides but were probably a bit over optimistic as sadly couldn’t eat it all!

We went here for lunch yesterday. We had two bugers with chips and coleslaw. The rustic homemade chips were excellent along with the coleslaw and dipping sauce. My hubby also loved the burger, I thought that mines was slightly pink but I guess that's a preference. It is a bit expensive which wouldn't mind but personally for a burger at £17 I think it has to be amazing. The staff were all brilliant, very polite and helpful. The food arrived quickly.

We went for my dads birthday tea. Great choice on the menu, from the normal steak pie etc to a whole Thai menu. Everything was very tasty and this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Backpacking from Sallochy along a difficult route to Inversnaid to reach this haven. Transport picked us up and transported us to the venue there & back. Great food and hospitality. Staff were brilliant and so helpful. Evening meal, breakfast and packed lunch all excellent so compliments to the chefs. Just a great quirky converted Chapel with good facilities.

Recently a large family get together enjoyed Hightea at Fairways Restaurant, we gave too marks for the service, food and the staff made it a special afternoon for us all

Comida de primera clase y servicio ofrecido. Tuvimos una comida de curso donde se elige un plato de cada línea en el menú, un montón de elección para que no se quede estancado. También opté por el maridaje de vinos. Los platos eran absolutamente fantásticos y sabrosos hechos con ingredientes frescos. No hubo un curso que no disfrutara. Cada plato se maridó con vinos que realzan el sabor de la comida y el vino en sí. También recibes como parte del maridaje un vaso de efluvio al inicio. El menú cambia cada pocas semanas, y si pudieras comparar esto con otro como referencia, es un estilo de comida similar a Six by Nico, An Darna es mejor. Esperamos volver a comer aquí pronto.

Had Afternoon Tea at Airlie House recently for a friend's 50th birthday (private event). This place is amazing. Could not fault it. Kathleen, our host for the day, was so warm and welcoming and could not do enough for us. The food was all homemade and tasted lovely. There was so much we could not eat it all. The dining room in which we ate was so tastefully decorated for the occasion. Before we ate we were given a tour of the house with a resume of its history. I will definitely be visiting again.

This place reminded me of the shops I used to see in Germany, specialist desert shops. The ice cream was the best I've had in years and reminded me of Italian gelato. Worth a visit, better than the norm.

Went here for a sunday lunch, and waited for ages for everything.. I don't know how many staff were on, the bloke who greeted us was fine, we got our table, there was a chicken bone under it which the waitress spotted when she arrived and took away.. the table next to us wasn't cleared for ages.. we waited over 20 minutes for our drinks.. and everything else, food, more drinks also took ages. The staff themselves were fine .. it's an ok place but there are better to go to. Food was ok too. Will probbaly go back at some point but in no rush to do so. We'll take our time ;)
