Been meaning to visit for a while after rave reviews from friends and social media. Lastnight we were not disappointed! Superb food! Easily the best hot dog I've ever had! Flavour combinations of food are delicious and the coating on the cauliflower wings and Mother Clucker burger is awsome! Drinks menu was a nice surprise......enjoyed a classic fave cocktail and my first ale, after some advice from the friendly waiting staff! Will for sure be back! Awsome to have this on our doorstep!

Since seeing my first play here last week, I have popped back in to the café with my son to warm up after our sip in the Loch! The play, Noel Coward’s Brief Encounter, was fabulous. The cast of seven also dipped in and out of a jazz band on stage that added a beautiful dynamic to the play. We started our evening with supper in the café - delicious soup, a glass of wine and a sweet treat to finish, served by friendly and helpful staff. You can order picnic boxes which give a delightful mix of supper items to fit all dietary requirements. Views over the river Tummel and even to Ben Vrackie on a clear day. The newly redeveloped café and entrance area is a lovely open space to await a performance or just pop in for a coffee and cake whilst visiting the area. There’s outside seating and a little children’s play area as well as a small number of plants for sale from the Explorers Garden which is in the same site; and ticketed separately (£5) and well worth a visit.

We were a group of nine from England visiting family and were looking for an early dinner. We chose here because they had a good gluten free menu which two people needed. Genuinely can’t fault this restaurant, from the service, Ellie May was our server to the food, the decor and the value for money. I note that a few months ago there were a couple of reviews that mentioned the portion size had reduced and it had got pricey, this was our first visit but all agreed the portions were huge and was excellent quality and value. The double pork chop was a particular hit but the ribs were great as were the burgers and the GF options were fab. We ordered about 5 sides but were probably a bit over optimistic as sadly couldn’t eat it all!

First of all, the positives. The food was brilliant: delicious, well presented & hot (in both senses of the word!) So, thank you chefs. On the other hand the service was awful, with one exception: the young Asian lass who brought our drinks was lovely & we wished she could have looked after us the whole time. So what was the problem? First of all, we arrived and were 'greeted' without a smile or any sort of welcome -- just shown to our table as if it was all a bit of a chore. Not a great start. After that the food & drink orders were taken without any sort of interest. No smiles, no chat, & minimal eye contact. It felt like the whole thing was just a nuisance to them, and throughout the evening too. When it came to paying the bill, my wife said, "Can you please add 10%" to which the waitress responded, without even looking up, "OK". That was it. No smile, nothing. (When I asked my wife why she wanted to leave a tip she said she was thinking of the chefs & the one nice server we had.) Other reviews refer to good service, so maybe on 26.9.24 we were just unlucky. Despite great food (which merited 5 stars btw), we'll not be back on account of the unforgettable 1-star service. Worst we've had in a long time.

Backpacking from Sallochy along a difficult route to Inversnaid to reach this haven. Transport picked us up and transported us to the venue there & back. Great food and hospitality. Staff were brilliant and so helpful. Evening meal, breakfast and packed lunch all excellent so compliments to the chefs. Just a great quirky converted Chapel with good facilities.

Visited for the 5 course lunch tasting menu. The decor was lovely. Bread and butter to start was so tasty. We enjoyed every course however the caramelised chocolate in the raspberry dessert nearly broke my teeth, it was solid. The pumpkin was my favourite and my partners was the pork. It’s a nice experience. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because we were freezing, it was so cold inside the restaurant from our seat which was closest to the door. A lovely afternoon overall.

Had Afternoon Tea at Airlie House recently for a friend's 50th birthday (private event). This place is amazing. Could not fault it. Kathleen, our host for the day, was so warm and welcoming and could not do enough for us. The food was all homemade and tasted lovely. There was so much we could not eat it all. The dining room in which we ate was so tastefully decorated for the occasion. Before we ate we were given a tour of the house with a resume of its history. I will definitely be visiting again.

This place reminded me of the shops I used to see in Germany, specialist desert shops. The ice cream was the best I've had in years and reminded me of Italian gelato. Worth a visit, better than the norm.

Went here for a sunday lunch, and waited for ages for everything.. I don't know how many staff were on, the bloke who greeted us was fine, we got our table, there was a chicken bone under it which the waitress spotted when she arrived and took away.. the table next to us wasn't cleared for ages.. we waited over 20 minutes for our drinks.. and everything else, food, more drinks also took ages. The staff themselves were fine .. it's an ok place but there are better to go to. Food was ok too. Will probbaly go back at some point but in no rush to do so. We'll take our time ;)
