The food was amazing, i had a bacon and cheese rainbow bagel and it's the best bagel I've ever had. The bacon was crispy which is how i like it. I also had a peach Iced tea which was lovely. Atmosphere was very cosy and staff were friendly and helpful.

Went yesterday and was shocked by the price as google had not been updated by their company on prices. After spending allot more then on intending on a 1 inch wrap with pink and grey chicken that had the texture of jelly, i had ate my flavourless half blended soup also greeted with half the cutlery missing and no soup spoons and 1 napkin between 3. The day after my friend that i had been with has been in excruciating pain from her meal.

The food was so good and tasty, also quite reasonably priced. The staff were so lovely and kind. They also do beautiful rainbow bagels!!!

Extremely poor service they closed at 2.30, came all the way from far, parked the car and just realised they closed. Simple Google update can be done! Very bad..

Lovely wee place and reasonably priced

Cozy and friendly place to take a little break! The mushroom, spinach and cheese toast was very good as was the apple dessert. I forgot my water bottle... It's a gift

A bit expensive but the food is good and it's a great vegan cafe. Always busy!

Bacon and cream cheese bagles were delightful, and the smoothie of the day was excellent. Sweet cake options left a little to be desired. Service was quick and efficient, with helpful staff. Atmosphere was a little clinical, but overall relaxed. Very good vegan options available.

Fantastic place........ Daughter is Vegan and the selection is great. With her being lactose intolerant, it's the first time in around a year that she's had a vegan milkshake.... Food / drinks were very good. Highly recommend.

came here a few times, honestly the best brunch place. such a cute atmosphere, plants, clean surfaces. the staff is always really welcoming and friendly. the service is also really quick + the prices are reasonable! absolutely would recommend, and bring friends for brunch!

Always visit here when in Dundee it’s a lovely little friendly cafe that caters for all vegan too. They do the most amazing rainbow bagels. We always have breakfast when visiting which is always 4 stars. Very friendly staff.

We arrived close to closing but we were welcomed just the same. We were served cups of excellent coffee and generous slices of home made cake. Staff are cheery.

What a gem of a cafe! It's so well located and, from the moment you enter, there is a warm welcome. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive. My friend and I had two of the three soups on offer and they were amazing. The toasties and cups of tea were excellent too. I would happily return here and would be confident to try anything on the menu.

I finally got a rainbow 🌈 bagel! I love this wee café, the menu is a great and the team are lovely! Reasonably priced too. I was missing Aussie treats and it was great to see them to buy.

Came here based on reviews. I was travelling and checking out Dundee. This. Is. Worth. It. The rainbow bagel..the avo toast... the maple bacon waffle... the espresso...the beet drink...the flat white... put this on your list! Go to the counter to order after you sit. You pay there too.

Bagels were so good we had to get seconds! We had rainbow bagels with vegan bacon and avocado smash which were delicious & my partner had a vanilla iced latte which was super tasty. The owner was also very helpful in recommending different things to do in the area while we were there.

Had a delicious breakfast here this morning with my pals! Everything was perfect. Regretted not having the rainbow bagel, it looked homemade and my pal said it was excellent! The cakes were freshly baked and tasty 😋

We were visiting family in Dundee and had spent a while at the waterfront, then decided to go for lunch and the flame tree was thankfully still serving food. Service was welcoming and good, fairly quick service once we had ordered our food. A few items were forgotten about on the plate and we had to ask for them, but otherwise a great wee place in a good location. Thanks to the team for looking after us all.

The big windows are perfect to sit and get some sunshine. The soups nourishing.

The food is ok. Not like mind blowing but the price is reasonable. Staff are friendly BUTTTTT... No one wear gloves to prepare food. The same person makes a sandwich then put in oven and presses button with oily hands. Cashier who handle cash and coins also help in food prep without gloves. 😱

Had an excellent falafel wrap. Tasty. Came in a handy card box with salad and little French dressing (loved that) and crisps. Recommended.

Visited here recently for a spot of brunch to celebrate Mother’s Day. Made very welcome on arrival. Nice atmosphere. The food was very tasty and arrived quickly. We had waffles and Bacon, a BLT (on brioche) and ham and cheese croissants. The fruit smoothie was excellent too. Really pleasant service from all the waitresses and would highly recommend.

the coronation chicken in the sandwich was watery and not thick and luxurious, tasted thin and watery . The bloomer bread was slightly stale not fresh. The hash brown nuggets although nice were not home made and the coffee ok but tasted scalded . Service was not overly friendly. A real shame as i used to like this place

Best cafe in Dundee, it has food and drinks for everyone! They do the best soups, and their milkshakes are delicious. Our kids love a rainbow bagel with Nutella, its one of their favourite treats....its often my choice too! Also the staff are brilliant, so friendly and welcoming!

We were in Dundee for the day to visit the V and A. I’d read about this cafe and was so pleased we ate here rather than the overpriced cafe in v and a. It is family run very friendly with an efficiency like clockwork. I had the vegan blt bagel. Delicious . My wife was delighted to be able to have beans on toast . The menu looked good and everything I saw being eaten looked well presented and freshly prepared . There is a soup of the day and a good soup and sandwich offer . Tea is fresh leaf tea . I urge you to Head here if in Dundee . Oh and it’s proud to be Aussie run too , they even sell Armotts timtam bars .

Lovely little cafe with a varied menu

Having searched online for a cafe to visit before our afternoon at the V&A I came across the Flame Tree Cafe which came highly recommended. We were lucky enough to arrive when a free table was available as the cafe was very busy. I ordered the cheese and ham toastie and my partner ordered the chicken, pesto and mozzarella ciabatta. Both were served promptly accompanied by crisps and a nicely dressed side salad. The food was very nice as were the coffees. This is obviously a very popular spot full of good food and good atmosphere and one that I would highly recommend.

We popped in for breakfast having read the reviews excellent! Waffles, bacon and maple syrup for me and a toastie for my partner both delicious made to order and hot. The coffees two oat milk cappuccinos were also excellent

I stopped in for a drink and some food with my son. I had the bacon and maple waffles and he had a cheese and ham toastie. The food was excellent and very filling. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely somewhere we will be going again in the future.

What a find! Lovely little cafe in the centre of Dundee but rather off the beaten track. Clearly the locals know all about it as I was lucky to get a table at 1.30 on a Weds and it’s still full at 2.30. Friendly staff (boss is an Ozzie) and great quality fresh eats, mostly bread -based and cakes. I had roast veg and mozzarella ciabatta, with filling oozing enticingly onto the plate. And Bundaberg ginger beer. Yum.

Absolutely beautiful food! We frequently come there with the family. My daughter adores peanut butter bagel and I'm definitely a fan of salmon! Today we've had a bit of everything and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious experience of speciality coffee and tea brilliant rainbow BLT. Definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch, and bring your friends!

Excellent food and fantastic staff

Lots of vegan options here! I enjoyed a VBLT in a rainbow bagel. The rainbow bagel tasted like regular bagel, only more fun 🌈 I decided to demolish myself afterwards with a vegan cinnamon roll and an iced oat latte with vegan whipped cream. All in all they do delicious food at reasonable prices, served by friendly staff in a lovely interior, and in a nice location :)

Lazy brunch for us! BLT bagel was great, crispy bacon is my absolute favourite. No complaints here! Bart had the spicy chorizo ciabatta which could have been spicier for him but still great!

Delicious freshly made food. I had the BLT on brioche and my husband had the ciabatta tuna melt. The atmosphere was chilled, great service, friendly staff and very clean. Will visit again when in Dundee.

Lovely little cafe with fresh wraps and delicious milk shakes. The staff are super friendly and the setting is bright and cheerful with lots of windows to watch the world go by.
