A most charming and welcoming place. The best little campsite along the whole of the WHW. We camped there for one night and were welcomed with open arms. Ross picked us up from Inversnaid Hotel and drove us up the hill to the accommodation. After a beer and a wonderful hot and relaxing shower we had a most delicious meal in their cosy licensed restaurant. The breakfast was fresh and healthy and we opted for a packed lunch for the way - a generously filled roll and a delicious homemade flapjack. Everyone who works there was open, friendly and helpful and worked hand in hand - a perfect team!

I stayed 1 night here while walking the West Highland Way. Lovely double room by the stream (might be a bit midget earlier in the year). Shared shower room, but with just one other room. Clean, warm and comfortable. Good WiFi. Dinner in the Top Bunk was great. Venison stew with dumplings and garlic potatoes. One of the best meals of my trip.

Stayed for 1 night when doing the west highland way. Picked up from loch side within 5 minutes of ringing to say we were there. Once at bunkhouse it was like entering into a place of tranquility with quirkiness and everyone was so helpful and friendly. Evening meal was excellent and we all struggled to eat the huge portions. The whole place is amazing and well run and nothing is a bother or too much trouble to them. Keep up the good work and we hope to visit again

Loved the location of this Bunk House, felt like a real achievement climbing up through the mountain pass in the rain. Whilst the Rooms are a little small, and some bunk beds are 3 stories (a little scary being on top!) the food was truly out of this world. The venison stew had incredible flavours and the portion sizes were great after a 22 mile hike. We had a mix of mains and my friend couldn’t manage her linguine, that lasted about 5 mins before everyone dug in. My only feedback was the apple crumble needed to have been in a bigger dish, with full size apple pieces as it was a little mushy. The crumble part was great.

Backpacking from Sallochy along a difficult route to Inversnaid to reach this haven. Transport picked us up and transported us to the venue there & back. Great food and hospitality. Staff were brilliant and so helpful. Evening meal, breakfast and packed lunch all excellent so compliments to the chefs. Just a great quirky converted Chapel with good facilities.

Popped in after our disappointment of the Inversnaid Hotel. We are so glad we did. The bistro is set upstairs in an old renovated church. The stain glass windows are an interesting feature. The lunch menu suits all tastes. I opted for the black pudding, chorizo, apple salad. Freshly prepared by the friendly chef. It was superb. Hubby had the burger which he said was really good. The bistro has a licence and all sorts of beers, ciders and wines. Definitely worth visiting for lunch or evening dinner.

We arrived Saturday evening, It's a lovely bar, full of character and cosy spots. What was odd though and off-putting was that when we arrived there were only one of two other people and the staff had X factor playing on all TV's with sound on. The only people we saw watching it was the staff behind the bar and it was really distracting and ruined the atmosphere. It was odd and a real shame as we would have stayed there longer. But again lovely bar, with lovely character and drinks.
