The food is very nice, and there is always music to complete the atmosphere. I love this place!

Nice atmosphere but the food is a little too expensive for what it is. Good atmosphere doesn't justify the price of mid food. The tapas is great but the burgers are kind of meh. I'd prefer to walk up the road to 7bone for a good burger.

Fell down the stairs due to the floor being wet with no sign, raised my concern with the owners and was completely dismissed as they pointed the finger at me. (I wasn’t asking for anything other than an apology) My mum and others I am aware of have also been forcefully removed by bouncers with no reason or explanation. Not a very nice place.

The Punch and Judy( as was, now does not seem to have a name) reopened today after a ‘refurbishment’. Still grubby, the toilets still stink of urine. Not impressed.

We were recommended this place by a friend who gave it glowing reviews, so we thought we would try it. We ordered a delivery, which took longer than stated, then to our complete and utter disappointment the food was well below the standard expected. The sesame prawn toast was rubbery and very chewy, the duck spring rolls tasted stale, as did the rice. The Szechuan chicken was ok, the sweet and sour chicken had bone and cartilage in it and the person who ate it left the room to be sick, and unfortunately after that did not want to eat anymore; the chicken was also very grainy and had a strange texture and was also very chewy. The duck chow mien was below standard, the duck was overcooked and the noodles were very bland. It all seemed to have been frozen or left over from lunch time, reheated/nuked and delivered to us. All in all, we were very disappointed with the whole experience. It wasn't cheap either, although we did get a free bag of prawn crackers!

I took my wife and two young children down here for Mothers Day having not visited for a few years, and to be honest it really didn't live up to how I remembered. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant itself has a decent feel to it, but there were a number of things that didn't sit right. We booked a table for 11.45am, and through my own fault didn't realise that the larger, lunch menu didn't start until midday. We did ask if we could order from the lunch menu as we weren't far off the time but were told no, and because we had two very hungry, irritable children we ordered from the smaller, very egg-based breakfast menu. Two nutella pancakes, two rounds of egg on toast and a couple of glasses of the cheapest champagne. This took about 30 mins to come out due to a busy kitchen, which meant by the time the food came out people near to us where being served the lunch menu!! The final insult was being charged nearly £120 for the above, which I paid without really thinking just to get the kids out as they were getting loud and restless. It wasn't until we got home that I tried to figure out how on earth pancakes, toast and two glasses of bubbles could've come to this amount of money. A real shame as the last time I visited here with my parents, brother and my wife we had a really good meal. I understand that prices have risen across the board over the last 4-5 years, but this did seem extreme and no way good value for money.

Finally got around to trying Tim Hortons and I totally get the hype now! I popped in on a bit of a whim and left wondering why I didn’t come sooner. The vibe inside was really laid-back, kind of like the perfect halfway point between fast food and café. I went for the crispy chicken sandwich combo with lattice fries—and wow, it hit the spot. The chicken was juicy with a proper crunch, and the fries were golden and addictive. But the real surprise for me? The iced capp. Creamy, cold, and just sweet enough. Easily one of the best iced coffees I’ve had from a chain. Also grabbed a box of Timbits “for later,” but let’s be honest—they didn’t make it past the car ride home. Soft, sugary little bites of joy. The birthday cake one might be my new weakness. Staff were friendly and the place was clean, even during a busy lunch rush. You can tell they keep things running smoothly. Definitely planning to make this a regular treat. Whether it’s for a coffee break, a sweet fix or a full-on meal, Tim Hortons has earned a fan here.

Nos sentimos muy decepcionados con nuestra visita de hoy. La comida es de mala calidad. Mi esposo comentó sobre el hecho de que no hay arroz tipo mexicano para tener con la comida mexicana. Mi hija tenía unos mejillones, pero parecía que habían estado sentados allí mucho tiempo y eran como goma. Le dije que no se los comiera porque no queríamos que se enfermara. Los churros eran duros como la roca, me recordaban a los palitos de pan, eran así de duros. No lo hemos estado durante muchos años, y por 112 libras no volveremos. Mala relación calidad-precio para la comida de mala calidad y luego para colmo cuando pagué, estaban gruñones de que no estaba pagando el cargo por servicio discrecional. No hay mucho servicio aparte de limpiar placas, e incluso eso fue esporádico. En un momento tenemos una gran colección de platos al final de la tabla.

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant! The unlimited buffet offers a fantastic variety of dishes, catering to different tastes and preferences. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making it easy to go back for more. Considering how much you can eat, I think the prices are very reasonable. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant too. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a tasty and good-value dining experience!

The lovely aroma had drawn me up the steps to investigate & two of us went to eat on 25/8/22 at 5.30pm. Not busy at that time & we sat outside. I had jerk chicken with rice & peas, a generous amount of tasty chicken with purple rice & black peas which was rather dry & not quite to my taste - next time I would opt for potatoes. My friend had a good size plate of coconut paella chicken. I had the pineapple & ginger juice but preferred my friend's mango smoothie. Friendly helpful staff & we'll be back soon.

We enjoyed our meals at the Plough last month, we were made to feel very welcome and although the pub was very busy we received first class service and food.
