Back at Giraffe , my favourite restaurant at Gatwick Airport . Breakfast so great . Service was phenomenal. Served by lovely Denisa and Michelle . So friendly and welcoming staff . Thank you girls !

A good menu with plenty of variety, and well cooked. Our waitress was Eli, and she looked after us well. We will eat here the next time we in Gatwick

We wanted something quick, easy and reasonably priced for our pre travel day dinner. This branch fitted the bill nicely. We caught it at a good time, 1730ish on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated quickly and the food came out just as fast. It was as expected, fine but not outstanding. Given the available options we were quite happy and left satisfied.

Today we visit giraffe for quick lunch before flight our server dasha made our day so special. The food was amazing, we will be coming back

We had another great meal with Giraffe yesterday. The Teriyaki Salmon Rice Bowl was super tasty and prepared with care to keep it gluten-free. Really attentive & knowledgeable staff too. Special thanks to Elle, our server, & the Manager who guided us through the GF menu options on an iPad.

Our lunch at the Giraffe was a totally enjoyable experience. We were greeted at the entrance by the Host, Emily, who showed us to an ideal table and advised us about the menu. My wife, who has to be careful about what she eats, was very impressed when she was shown a list on a tablet of the possible allergies she has to be careful of. Then when Dasha, the Server, came to the table it was clear that she had been fully briefed on these cautions. The food, which was served in 10 minutes, was absolutely delightful. I can highly recommend the Pork Chops; relatively expensive but worth every penny.

We chose giraffe for dinner partly because we had 20% off as we were staying at the on site Bloc hotel. From the first greeting, we had a lovely time. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was quick and delicious. My slightly cautious husband was directed to a Japanese dish by our waiter, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We will be going back for breakfast!

I ordered a coke - 4.50 - and fish and chips - 16.00. The fish was hot but in a dark, salt en rusted batter which felt over cooked. The mushy peas were a stone cold, coagulated desertspoon’s worth (I mean, why bother?) and the chips were limp and barely warm, like they’d been sitting out somewhere, a forgotten component of an inadequate lunch. I ate the fish, which was mainly batter overwhelming a thin layer of flesh. I didn’t eat the peas or chips and complained when the waitress returned. In fairness, I got 20% off…I didn’t have time for them to remake (reheat?) it all. Would not go back.

Pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. I ordered the pan fried salmon and it was genuinely delicious. The vibe in the restaurant was really lovely, with lots of Brazilian staff who seemed genuinely happy to be there! Olga, my waitress, was full of fun and chat, and it was overall a really pleasant experience and delicious meal. Thank you!

Breakfast was ok but eggs and hash browns were greasy , should have gone to wetherspoons Gatwick beehive , price the same as well

We ate in the restaurant as we had a discount in association with the hotel we were staying in. Waitress was so friendly and brilliant in her job. We had a deal for a two course meal and soft drink. Halloumi with pomegranate for starter, burger and katsu chicken with noddles and then sorbet for dessert. All food tasted good. In the deal you could also upgrade your drink for a Estrella for £1.

Great service with great coffee. It is very refreshing to to engaged by staff, chatted with and asked how everything was. It started when I waited at the entrance for a member of the team to take me to a table. Waiting staff were all busy so the Barista caught my eye and took me to a table. This was excellent customer service. Didn’t eat a lot, just needed coffee and toast as I needed a quick break as I was picking a friend up . Cappuccino was sublime, best I have had in a while. Giraffe is quieter than Cafe Nero and the others here, don’t let that fool you. This was my first time and I will be back. Thank you team.

Very conveniently located just outside of the south terminal security departure. Our server, Jennifer, was very friendly and welcoming and made our experience very enjoyable. Keep up the great service!

Me and my family were greeted by Carolina and were served by Gabby who were both so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely and the bartender Kamila made us the most amazing cocktails :) would definitely recommend everyone to visit and there was a great selection of food

Let me start off with, I hope I’m reviewing the right Giraffe restaurant; as we’ve just eaten in the Gatwick Airport South Terminal establishment. So… Wow! I think I might’ve just had the best meal at a non-independent restaurant I’ve had in the longest time. It’s not often I am waxing lyrically about a meal that’s been hugely enjoyed by not only myself, but my children as well. The service was very friendly, very efficient and all without the feeling I’m being rushed throughout the process of dining. At first, I was concerned that the food we were going to eat was going to be of a ‘motorway services’ standard; but was overjoyed how wrong I was! My daughter enjoyed the Katsu Curry bowl, my son had the Rodeo chicken burger & I had, probably, the best loaded nachos with shredded beef I’ve EVER had in the UK (see attached pictures) If you’re looking for something delicious & enjoyable to eat and a relaxed atmosphere; do yourself a favour and pay a little more than you would at the nearby Wetherspoon. I promise you’ll not regret it!

We were at the airport looking for breakfast and decided to try Giraffe due to what looked to be a promising menu. The service was very slow. We almost walked out. When the food eventually arrived it was tasty but felt overpriced for the quantity.

Excellent service from the moment we walked in. Friendly and efficient staff. Food arrived quickly and was delicious, especially the sausages hash browns. My daughter loved the Strawberry pancakes. Portion sizes were large and very filling. Highly recommend if you need a meal before boarding your flight.

We went to meet our friends who had flown in from Turks. Decided on Giraffe as it’s good for kids. Good menu, lots of vegan items. We had nibbles and booze for four, and it came to just under £100. Didn’t think that too terrible. Staff were lovely and attentive and not pushy. The ordered items were presented well and were hot.

The people that worked there were very kind and polite. The food came shortly after we ordered and tasted just as wonderfull as i had hoped!( or even better:D)

Had dinner hear on an over night stay at the airport. Delicious food and great cocktails. The gluten free food was also great. We had a teriyaki bowl and a gluten free burger with fries. I would definitely come back hear again next time I'm around.

You don't expect great food at an airport and consequently we weren't disappointed. However the customer service was great , very attentive and so we left a tip.

Excellent service and delicious food. Cocktails were reasonably priced, we had a strawberry daiquiri and a Hugo! Followed by the katsu chicken and noodles which was delicious. Much better than any of the other airport dining venues. Would thoroughly recommend!

Not as good as last time. Husbands was fine, he had fish and chips, I just wanted a snack which was the corn ribs. They were so tiny for what they were charging as most of the corn you cannot eat. Towards the end the service slipped. When we were waiting for ages for the bill one waitress just put her hand up and said wait! We had already waited ages!!! Generally understaffed and whilst they started off polite, that all slips away when they get busy. Not worth the money, although they were great with my allergy. Alot of the good choices on their old menu seem to have disappeared post covid.

On the way to America with family & friends and we stopped for Breakfast…the food was delicious and hot and came very fast ! The service was excellent and, as always, we’ve never had poor food or service at a Giraffe !!

Giraffe is my default airport restaurant where available, just the right mix of quality food with a good choice and speed of service. Not every airport restaurant always gets that sometimes we're in a hurry. I love the new online payment option also, emailed receipt is so much easier to keep track of.

Service really was excellent- so welcoming, efficient and friendly. I wanted to try the jackfruit curry as ideally want to cut down on meat in diet and looking at alternatives - their jackfruit curry will keep me a carnivore !! The dish looked good but the curry texture was dreadful and tasted pre chewed ! Very little curry flavouring too. Very small portion/ overpriced ! So yes- great service but sort of downhill after that !

We have eaten here several times before a flight and we always have a very nice meal. There is a good selection of food and drink available here, the waitress was cheerful and pleasant, the food was tasty and well presented and there was something missing from my mojito but otherwise very good.

My family & I had a fantastic meal here tonight. Quick & attentive service. The Nordic cosmopolitan was one of the nicest cosmopolitans I’ve had - and I have has many many to compare to.

If we stay at Gatwick to catch an early flight, we need to find a good restaurant at either terminal for an evening meal. The only one that is always good is the Giraffe at the South terminal. I particularly like Huevos Rancheros and this Giraffe makes the best I’ve had anywhere in the UK. The service is excellent and the vegetarian options are very good as well. We had a great meal for 4 last Sunday at reasonable cost.

Stopped for a kids meal and some sides at Gatwick. Prices very reasonable (cheaper then Wetherspoons!!), quick service and good food. Loved the pay online feature that accepted PayPal and allowed us to leave quicker! Great experience.

Adjacent to, but before, security in the South terminal and just to the right of the BLOC hotel. Standard Giraffe menu, but helpful staff; we were served in a very friendly manner by Majec. If you are staying at the BLOC hotel you can get a free drink , of a limited choice, with dinner if you take the BLOC voucher book with you. £15/head for a main and a jug of tap water. You can also get 20% off breakfast if you bring the previous evening’s dinner receipt with you. A good formula if in the locality.

We missed our flight and stayed at an airport hotel. Since we were kinda tired, we decided to eat something at the airport. Everywhere we just found pub food and then, in South Terminal, next to de departures area we found Giraffe. It’s kid-friendly and they have food for all types of diets! Nowadays this is very important! The Tajine I ate was very good, but I know my family were all satisfied with their dishes as well!

Friendly and helpful staff. Helped entertain our 1 year old. Great value for money, especially as we get a good discount with our dragon pass card. Had the beetroot burger, was so yummy.

Average food, hyperactive staff, plate taken away as I got to last mouthful. Paid for food cash while I sorted tip separately from a different purse, waiter jumped in so quick and misunderstood told me to 'keep it'. Need to calm down a bit.

Menu is sporadic and weird, teryiaki chicken next to burgers etc. All weird, nothing normal, almost trying to be wacky. Food is expensive, service is polite but incredibly slow as the are too understaffed. Hope it closes soon and is replaced by something better.
