Upgraded room and breakfast ate at the bar at night it was very busy (Saturday)young man helped us get a table very friendly,food arrived quickly served by same person seemed to enjoy his job and smiling name was Bede a credit to the Clayton.Breakfast was very good with once again smiling friendly staff!!

Barely any food options, however the bartender was very nice so it made up for it. Food itself is okay, but pretty sure it was frozen. Burger alone was £7. With chips… £14? Mad.

Bone dry overcooked chicken, dry rice, totally unedible. Also ordered Mac & Cheese for kids, and the chef thinks it's just boiled macaroni with some grated cheddar cheese top, baked in oven, then topped with crispy onions. Seriously? Unless they change their chefs, this place need to be avoided.

En primer lugar, la pizza Nells es excelente, sin culpar en absoluto. Habíamos reservado y estábamos sentados en la zona del bar. No hay problemas con el servicio. Sin embargo, fue prácticamente imposible disfrutar de toda la experiencia, ya que había un DJ a las 6. 45 pm sonando música horrenda a todo volumen con un altavoz casi colocado en nuestra mesa. No podíamos oírnos pensar y mucho menos tener una conversación así que era cuestión de comer y salir. Muy decepcionante. No soy un viejo miserable, no tengo ningún problema con un DJ o cualquier entretenimiento que tenga lugar, pero es alucinante por qué a esa hora del día habría un DJ tocando tan fuerte. No correré el riesgo de que de nuevo tan tristemente esta será mi primera y última visita a Common para una comida.

Rocco’s Desserts is a little gem tucked away near Shudehill tram stop and bus station. I went for the Million Dollar Milkshake this time, and it definitely lived up to the name. Thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious, one of the best I’ve had. Their range of ice creams is impressive, with some unique flavours on offer—yes, even pistachio! Every dessert I’ve tried here has been a real treat, always rich in flavour and well-presented. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving something sweet.

La comida era absolutamente delicioso, y porciones de gran tamaño. Incluso consiguió un ingrediente añadido ya que el trozo de papel insertado en la caja de comida para llevar terminó desintegrándose en la comida. ¡Creo que comí un poco! Sin embargo, las bolitas eran sosas y de mal gusto. Pastel de piña precioso pero rancio. El servicio no fue lo mejor que siento decir. Pedidos equivocados, no escuchar, faltan elementos, sobre - cargado. Tuve que repetirme unas 5 veces para recordarles mi pedido. Y ya me preguntaban sobre el siguiente paso antes de haber terminado de ordenar la primera parte. Esperemos que solo sean problemas de dentición porque el proceso fue tan estresante y atrasado. Tener máquinas de pedido de autoservicio sería mucho mejor.

Después de habernos alojado en el Premier Inn contiguo varias veces hemos tenido desayuno y cena aquí. A menudo vamos a conciertos en el cercano Bridgewater Hall y llamamos aquí para un bocado pre concierto. Siempre hemos disfrutado de nuestra comida aquí y esta noche no es la excepción. Sin embargo, la razón por la que saco un cinco es por el fabuloso personal que tiene un trabajo difícil administrando la clientela diferente. Nunca estarán seguros de los números, o de la elección de los huéspedes de la comida de un menú extenso, pero todavía se las arreglan para servir a sus clientes con respeto y trabajar duro para asegurarse de que todos estén contentos. Van más allá. Charlotte nos sirvió sobre todo esta noche y ella está tan comprometida a llevar a cabo un buen trabajo. Excelente atención al cliente. Gracias a todos.

Lovely staff but very much self service from the bar and no real waitress service! Starter of chicken wings done three ways was excellent but so disappointed by fish and chips. The fish was so small and clearly not fully defrosted as wet and soggy! No staff asking how the meal was and no-one serving drinks once meal delivered. Need to go to bar and ask. Also have to go up to bar and pay and only then asked how meal was! Mentioned fish and apologies given. Waitress stated the the portions are usually ‘huge and hanging off sides of plate’ - not today though and just wonder if usual chef was on a night off! Used ACCOR loyalty card for 15% discount and waitress added an extra 10% for which I was grateful. Recommendation to chef: If fish not right, don’t serve and offer alternative. No one will mind!

Loved this place! The food was fresh and delicious, especially the Halim. Coffee was perfect, and the service was super friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a great spot to start the day. Will definitely be back!

A proper good caribbean 👌 had oxtail with rice & coleslaw. No jokes, very delicious I will visit again
