Awful food, overpriced, chaos in the dinning room. Tables dirty everywhere. Room was dirty, bathroom looked tired and dirty grout. Not a 4* by any means. No aircon in rooms either.

Waited over an hour for our food just for it to be raw, I order the chicken skewers with couscous and they were bright pink and raw so we didn’t finish our meal. It was absolutely rammed just definitely will not be returning

Fab drinks and food. I have to say Paige was so welcoming and friendly from the offset. Told us how everything worked, where to find the fascilities and was friendly and chatty. She made us feel super relaxed and was attentive and courteous through the evening! Having worked in customer service for nearly 30 years she is exactly who people would want in their team! This was my first time dining at the Clayton Grill restaurant. The menu selection and portion sizes were very good and the taste was equally good. What stood out most was the excellent service provided by Mr Alex. His services were on point and he was knowledgeable about the food and beverage options and pairings. He recommended many good dishes and desserts. I observed that he was genuinely kind to all his customers and had a very good rapport with everyone and was attentive. I highly recommend the restaurant for its high quality food and for valuable employees like Mr Alex. 10/10 I would return because of the services provided by him.

Nice atmosphere, good food and very friendly staff. Especially Alberto took great care of us. He was very attentive and extraordinarily friendly.

We have been to this restaurant many times and this was by far our best visit, mainly because they seem to have reviewed their allergy policy. Our daughter has a nut allergy and we were asked on arrival about allergies and the menu had allergens clearly labelled. Our fantastic waiter, Alex, checked that every dish our daughter ordered was safe with the chef and spoke to her personally to reassure her. The food was lovely, service was quick, but not rushed, and Alex was always there when we needed anything and very friendly and polite. We choose this airport hotel over all the others because of the restaurant and the wonderful staff, you can't beat it!

We visited the restaurant tonight and had a lovely time. My husband ordered the steak, which was great and my salmon was cooked to perfection. Oisin and the rest of the staff were very attentive as well and made sure we were looked after. The only minor negative was that it took quite a while for our food to come out but we didn't order starter in case the portion of the main was big and we did make the right decision since we couldn't even fit dessert afterwards.

I always enjoy eating at the Clayton restaurant. There is a lively busy bar area at the Clayton but the restaurant allows for a quieter and calmer dining experience. The menu is really good (although as someone who stays at the Clayton often it's now time for a refresh). The staff in the restaurant are excellent - really friendly, helpful and accommodating. Yasmin in particular stands out as a member of staff who always makes me feel welcome and looks after me really well and is an asset to the Clayton Hotel.

Stick to restaurant and not the Aviator bar. Eaten in the restaurant numerous times as a family and it has always been lovely, this time it was just me and my mum, and we decided to have drink and snacks in the Aviator bar instead, mum had a double vodka and it was just short of £15, couldn't believe it! I had a coke and the glass that came also had a shot of vodka in it so had to have a fresh glass as I wasn't drinking alcohol, lucky I asked as I thought at first, maybe it was melted ice (as the coke came separately in a bottle) the waiter replaced my glass with what looked like a pen holder as it had blue ink in the bottom 😳, I had to change my glass again, which came and i awkwardly decided to just drink out the bottle. We only wanted a chilled evening as was flying early hours. I wouldn't use the bar again, il Stick to the restaurant like normal next time.

We stayed here prior to flying from the airport. The checkin was efficient and quick. We left our car there and used the shuttle bus to drop our luggage off in the evening before 10pm, it makes it so much easier for travel on you departure day. The restaurant offer a deal on food, but we used the bar and ate there. The food was ok, but it seemed expensive for the quality, plus drinks are expensive , but your in a hotel at an airport so expect to pay more.
