First time here and definitely won’t be the last. I had Lamb Adana and my wife had Lamb Shish. They’re both £20-odd which is excellent value - with all these amazing sundries coming with them is a very fair price. Very tasty, succulent, spiced perfectly. Lovely textured bread (not pictured sorry) and softly cooked rice. The onion and mushroom dish which I think was in a stock sauce was also out of this world. For drinkers, the wine is very good and very reasonably priced too. We had a fantastic bottle of pinot noir for under £23. Didn’t get a pic of the mixed cold mezze starter but again top notch.

We had the most amazing experience at Grazing by Mark Greenaway. Excellent service from Eva, Caitlin, Michael, Jenny, Joanna and Elena, couples with mouth watering menu. It was the perfect dining experience including paired and recommended wines as well as servers’ favourites recommendations. We loved every minute of it and would recommend to any couple looking to celebrate an evening of great food and wine.

Had an excellent 7 course taster menu for my birthday...such good value in comparison to other fine dining restaurants. Each course was very tasty with excellent presentation. This was our third visit to Taisteal. The first being in the old Stockbridge venue. The second and third in the new larger restaurant. Was slightly disappointed in our second visit in 2022 but decided to give it another chance, and we were so glad we did. Could not fault last night's meal or service at all. Also preferred the downstairs seating to upstairs.

Visited here on Xmas Eve. Felt that the staff couldn’t be bothered having you there. My husband ordered the full breakfast and the haggis and black pudding on his plate were about the thickness of a piece of card. Ordered fresh juices, and they were more water than juice. No taste at all. Our hot drinks were on the counter for over ten minutes, but the staff kept walking past them. I ended up going over and taking them myself. Won’t go there again.

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Dine last Thursday evening, weather outside was cold and blustery, inside was the exact opposite! From the moment we arrived we just knew we would have a lovely evening . The welcome was warm and genuine, staff were exceptional throughout our visit. Food was presented in a very attractive manner, and was really tasty, in fact, exceptionally tasty. Such comfortable surroundings and great staff, we will most definitely be back!

We found this restaurant around the corner from our hotel and decided to have breakfast. We're so glad we did, what a great find! The menu choice was large and varied and great value for money. Our breakfast was delicious and the coffee great. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day. This time we also took away delicious canoli and scone. The ambience was good and our server was warm and engaging. We'll definitely be back should we visit the area again and will recommend to all

Me and my wife wandered in after a meal down the road, we are glad we did! The decor was lovely, the staff attentive and the drinks flowed. The service was good, table only, due to restrictions but this wasn't an issue. The young gent serving us was chatty, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a mixture or cocktails and beers, all great, the prices are also reasonable. Would recommend, a little out of the way but worth a visit!

Quick service, tasty food and great chai. The atmosphere was chill and welcoming and the staff expressed joy in their work. They had a lot of vegan options. The falafel toastie was yummie.

We've been to groats before when it was a pop-up, we were over the moon when it found a permanent home, then not so happy when they announced they were moving. On that note, we had to go back and try it again! Famous for it's porridge, we went for one porridge and one French toast. Two refillable coffees to wash it down. The French toast was perfect, thick sliced and perfectly cooked. When you do something so good, keep doing it - this is groats all over. Will be looking out for when they next find a home.

Ordered tzatziki and hummus for starters which was nice alongside the fresh bread however the mains were terrible. I ordered chicken shish and I got 4 skewers of chicken which were over cooked, no flavour and rubbery. The presentation was a mess, tons of vegetables, fruit and cold salad which didn’t go! The whole thing was covered in chili and brown sauce which made the meal taste worse. It was served with what I think is rice. Overall the worst £60 pounds I’ve ever spent.

This was so disappointing, we have been to Six by Nico in Glasgow and this was such a bad experience compared to the Glasgow one. When we sat down we had to wait 15-20mins before anyone even spoke to us let alone offered us drinks. The 3 tables next to us who were seated after us had their first course before we even got our first drink. I’m not sure why our table seemed to have such a terrible wait time compared to everyone else. I can only assume our waiter was forgetting about us. The whole night we watched table after table get their food before us (which would be fine but these were tables that had been sat long after us). The worst part about all of this was that when we mentioned to our waiter that our food was taking a long time he didn’t even apologise or offer an explanation. The food was incredible when it eventually came, just it’s a shame when you decide to do something like this as a nice treat and end up having a bad time.
