The owners of Banquet were sitting outside later in the evening when we arrived, looking tired and hungry after a long day of travel. They welcomed us in and made us feel at home. We were so excited to see that the menu had so many delicious options. We all enjoyed our food and a lovely bottle of wine. We had the Kashk Bademjan to start - a nice alternative to Baba ganoush we usually get. For our mains, we got Fesenjoon- a wonderful slow cooked chicken with so much flavor- and the lamb kabobs, which were spiced just right! The owners were very friendly and patient with us. Highly recommend!

We had lunch upstairs in the cafe. A busy wee place, but got seated no bother. We ordered a soup with a BLT wrap and a Stovies. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. The stovies were a wee bit peppery for our taste, but still lovely. Very generous portions. The staff were all lovely even though they were run off their feet. I would highly recommend lunching here. 👍

Place is a joke. Placed an ordered at 7.20pm through nandos app. 1 hour later get a call from the delivery guy to say he was at the drop off which was 10 minutes away from my house and refused to bring the food and wanted the code to say he delivered the food to the wrong place. Called customer care to be told that there was a pin error to call the nandos restaurant. Called the restaurant and got the manager to be told they would remake the food and send out with another driver and will take another 10 to 15 minutes. 45 minutes pass and no food turned up. Called the restaurant again and the girl we got basically said the food was never prepped, made or sent out then told they can't refund us. Fantastic service time now 9.30pm

I don’t usually review food but feel like I didn’t get my moneys worth. I ordered 2 x large hoagie wraps and they were perfect, two boys are stuffed and happy however I ordered a chicken kebab and the chicken was so thin I actually had mistaken it for Donner meat. It was lukewarm when it came which put me off as chicken has to be heated to at least 75-95 degrees to be safe to eat. Not sure if it was a busy day in kitchen or I just got the end of the kebab so it was thin but don’t think it’s fair to spend nearly 30 pounds on an order and my food isn’t hot enough and it’s barely chunks of chicken Requested a refund for the tikka.

The macaroni and loaded fries were absolutely disgusting. There was about 12 chips supposed to have cheese and bacon on them. Didn’t think you could go wrong with those choices. But you obviously can. Weren’t cheap either. Awful food. Wouldn’t even give it a 1 for food
