The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Central Scotland

Stayed in Callander for weekend. This wee pub is amazing. Good food, excellent prices, hard working friendly staff who had time for a chat. Boston (the dog) is lovely and welcomed us on every visit. Had great weekend thanks to McNabs. We’ll definitely be back.

The Agacan has been open for so long for a reason, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. Turkish food is my absolute favourite so i was very much looking forward to our meal, the waitress made us up a custom meal that id seen a picture of on the agacans instagram page - going above and beyond. Scoffed the lot, the only very minor complaints i had were that the lamb was very chewy and the table next to us was very very loud which isnt the restaurants fault at all but made it quite hard for us to hold a conversation, anyone whos been to the agacan knows its a very small restaurant anyway so we are all sitting very close. Other than that it was a fantastic meal, great price and we will definitely be back.

5 / 5 for service and food Had 2 macaroni and cheese with chips and very reasonable price too. Less than a £5. Only issue was so much cheese it was just too much for my daughter..

Recién inaugurado (en enero) el restaurante 'Don Padrino' me ha bloqueado y eliminado mi comentario en su página de facebook, así que pensé en subir un post. Reserve una mesa hoy y estaba esperando la elección de dos menús, o "Platos individuales - Para aquellos que prefieren su propia indulgencia". Perfecto para personas con diferentes gustos. Muy engañoso, ya que cuando llegamos nos dijeron que teníamos que pedir el mismo menú. Uno o el otro. Lo siento, pero no estoy pagando £ 70 + si ni siquiera puedo elegir un menú diferente a mi pareja. El bloqueo de personas/eliminación de comentarios muestra que no puedes aceptar críticas por tus prácticas deficientes. Avergonzante tbh.

Was not happy the double beef burge i never asked for bacon and i dont like bacon and it was cooked with the bacon and then it had the fat on it and couldnt eat it. My sons pizza was soggie and was not edible and wasnt cooked properly.

I don’t usually review food but feel like I didn’t get my moneys worth. I ordered 2 x large hoagie wraps and they were perfect, two boys are stuffed and happy however I ordered a chicken kebab and the chicken was so thin I actually had mistaken it for Donner meat. It was lukewarm when it came which put me off as chicken has to be heated to at least 75-95 degrees to be safe to eat. Not sure if it was a busy day in kitchen or I just got the end of the kebab so it was thin but don’t think it’s fair to spend nearly 30 pounds on an order and my food isn’t hot enough and it’s barely chunks of chicken Requested a refund for the tikka.
