This is our first time visiting Nando’s at Leeds and i was impressed. I love the chicken. Only got the chicken as i am trying to be healthy so no fries or rice today, but loved the chicken.

Very unpleasant experience Service was really unwelcome and very unhappy. Food not really at the level aspected for a place of that level. To be noticed that also the table behind us was really unhappy with the service and made it clear to the server. It’s a shame as the place has a very good potential. Definitely not coming back or suggesting it to friends

Having rebranded the hotel recently and therefore this restaurant the new place was thoroughly disappointing. We went here as part of York Restaurant week. Part of the voucher was to get 2 courses each. The main dishes were bland to the point I didn’t finish mine. The dessert was stale. I’m not one to leave desert uneaten but this one I had to. After telling the waiter this, all he said was he would pass it on to the chef. It’s not somewhere I would return which is a shame given the beautiful premises.

Today I purchased 6 cheese straws from Cooplands in Driffield. These cheese straws were then carried home safely in amongst the rest of my shopping from various other shops this morning. When it came time for my sister to eat these cheese straws, she put 3 on her plate. She ate two of the 3 with no problem and then when she got to the third cheese straw she took two bites and let out a very loud “OW!” as she had bitten into something hard whilst chewing her cheese straw. She proceeded to spit out the mouthful of cheese straw she was chewing and looking at the mouthful on her plate to see if there was anything there. She gasped and said “Oh my god thats a stone” I said “don't be ridiculous theres no way” and then she picked it out of the chewed up mouthful of cheese straw and held out her hand and said “look A STONE” I couldn't believe my eyes , she was right it was a stone which she had bitten into whilst trying to enjoy her last cheese straw. Me and my sister, Jess, are appalled, horrified and disgusted that this has slipped past the quality checks. This stone could have seriously injured her teeth so thank god she realised and spat it out. This unfortunately puts an end to us purchasing baked goods at our local Cooplands. My sister is to quote her words “too traumatised to eat anything from Cooplands again”. I hope this gets picked up and reflected on and that it doesn’t happen to any other Cooplands customers. Impresionante y subestimado. Por lo general, no espero mucho de los restaurantes de los hoteles, así que me sorprendió gratamente la calidad de la comida (sabrosa, bien presentada). Servicio rápido, bien decorado, excelente vino de la casa. La camarera Jordan fue particularmente atento y amable, elogio su servicio.

Mr Anthony welcome us warmly. Took a good care of us, even helped us with the menu. I would reccomend

Stopped by after we got off the train from York for a drink. Really lovely pub, had a really nice chat with the lovely lady there too! Had the most amazing rum there too - Coconut & Tonka Bean which I highly recommend if you love flavoured rums!

Diner in the bistro as part of ‘Restaurant Week’. Great service and a popular selection of dishes on the menu. It’s been sone time since we last visited and wow, what a transformation. Lovely decor and lounge to relax in. Planning a return visit for the Sunday lunch as recommended by our friends.

Fantastic array of breads, the sour dough was nice, the ciabatta wasn’t like an Italian ciabatta at all- also got some cakes which were ok- the window and display are lovely and the polish servers very nice.

Very good evening out with a large group. Food was fine, staff were attentive, drinks a bit expensive but overall very good.
