Fantastic array of breads, the sour dough was nice, the ciabatta wasn’t like an Italian ciabatta at all- also got some cakes which were ok- the window and display are lovely and the polish servers very nice.

Fresh delicious breads, cakes and pastries in this busy student area. So much delicious looking products that all are tasty and very reasonable priced. Not small and delicate so choose wisely!

I always used to order from this place but from last few orders the standard of this place has gone down terribly. I ordered 2 chicken tikka and donner wrap the food was awful. All the filling was out of the sub no mayo what so ever,cold and damp food. Never will order again. Disgusting.

I was disappointed with my meal, shop bought chicken strips etc and it wasnt very nice. The food is usually very good from here. I will still order from here but just not the chicken boneless meal.

My fish was in an undercooked soggy batter and the chips aren't even fish shop fried chips! My curry sauce was just like water and cold and my breadcake was a burger bun so disappointed!

The takeaway ran out of one of the items I ordered. I received a call within minutes of ordering to let me know and ask what I wanted instead. The delivery time was 10 minutes earlier than expected which was great. However, the food was disgusting which is a shame as I've ordered plenty of times from pride of hull. The curry sauce was really watery, the chips were both undercooked and over cooked and the fish cake tastes burnt. A real shame for a takeaway that I rated very highly

Very disappointing!! Food was 30 minutes late and then the driver couldn't find our house. And the Food was freezing 😞

Cold food delivered over hour an half after ordering. Driver said here have a free garlic bread.... The one we was gonna get anyway for ordering over a set amount. Would have refused if we hadnt have prepaid. Wont order again

Bit unhappy with the chips, they were quite soggy asif they had been reheated, this combined with the estimated time of 5 past 10 yet it came about 15-20 instead leads me to believe they were reheated

Brill. Chosen as hubby fancied fish & chips & I wanted something else. Was dubious as usually can be disappointing when more than one cuisine available. Delivery did take a while but food was great. Piping hot & really tasty. Hubby said fish & chips were great too. I had wedges & chicken wings both well cooked and full of flavour!

I wouldn't order from here again the pizza I ordered was suppose to have chicken and mushrooms on and I paid a extra £1.00 for onions but it didn't have mushrooms or onions on just chicken it was so bland it all went into the bin. Your paying for extras but don't even get it what a waste of money.

Hot, fresh, good portion sizes/prices and exactly as ordered (even though we sent a message being arkward.. e.g. no onions, mushrooms etc...) Will continue to treat us from Pride of Hull they never let us down x Thank you

Bought a large haddock and chips and a child's fish and chips, chips were soggy and so was the fish, the fish also had a weird taste, breadcake wasn't all that nice either. Havnt eaten most of the meal and won't be reordering from here again

Mains were fine but were missing drinks and sauces and lolly for kids meal was really looking forward to our cake and was majorly disappointed took one bite of mine and spat it out tasted like it had been sat for days all the cakes were really stale also ordered a 500ml tub of Ben and Jerry's for £5 and they didn't have any so sent 3 100ml tubs for the same price won't be ordering again

Absolutely awful. My order arrived within 10 minutes of sending order which indicates how NOT fresh it was. All of it was cold and the chips were all burnt and dry as if they'd been cooked hours ago and left there. They were so crispy that they would break your teeth! I can only assume they had an old battered sausage left over and some old overcooked chips because that was how it arrived and presumably how it arrived so quickly. Inedible. Won't want to order from here again.

The chips was soggy and the onion rings they messed up the order also we did not get what we orderd. Delivery was 1 hour 20 minutes even though it said 45 mins and the pizza was awful. From beginning to end this take way was bad don't order from here word of warning

I ordered the chips under the 'Fish & Chips' tab. Must have clicked on the wrong chips or something, I don't know. Anyway, they were nasty AF. The chicken burger was just as bad. I was expecting a chicken fillet burger and I got a fish-cake looking thing. The beef burger was nice though. Average anyways.

The food arrived early which we don't mind at all, we were charged an extra 2p that we also did not mind however we didn't receive the garlic mayo for both meals and no coleslaw. We also asked to be called on arrival of the food but the takeaway failed to do so.

My sons fish cake was basically frozen. The chips where undercooked and also cold. The garlic bread was gross and cold. Would not recommend at all. £14 for the family to end up still hungry and the bins full. Gross.

Food was absolutely revolting. Dripping with grease and tasted so bad that I had one mouthful and threw the rest in the bin. Surprise surprise, I now have a stomach ache. Will never order from Pride of Hull again and I advise others not to either. Delivery was half an hour early so good job I wasn't ordering for when I got home later. The delivery driver was brash and instead of coming and knocking on the door he sat in his car and told me to come to the car and get my order myself. The only good thing about my order was the can of Rubicon Guava that came with it. The rest is trash. Now to get rid of the discusting smell from the living room. Since found out that Pride of Hull has one of the worst food hygiene ratings in Hull at just a 1 out of 5.

This is our takeaway of choice in Hull, so much choice and great staff, so friendly! Plus their milkshakes are the best I've ever had!

Chips was under cooked a little bit. The fish was dry the batter was really good. The peas had a funny taste. Also got a sage patty and it was very nice. The Kebab we got was ok. Would give a second chance.

Not very happy. Food was unfercooked. Wouldn't even chance giving the cat the fish just in case. The batter was hard on the sausage. Chips seemed dark but again where hard. Wasnt very hot, more like just above warm. Past food has been good but very disappointed tonight.

I am disgusted at the service we received tonight firstly the order was wrong we ordered a tuna and sweetcorn pizza and ended up with tuna and pineapple pizza and also the food was cold. The delivery guy rang for us to collect when he could of brought to the door all he had to pull into a courtyard which the gate was open but we were passed our food through a car window felt this was because it was raining and he couldn't be bothered. I'm really disappointed as I have used pride of hull numerous times in the past even told people to go there as it's that nice I don't know if we ordered on a bad day but this is not the service we are used too. Really disappointed

ordered food and everytime Ive ordered its been at least half an hour late. Ordered today and it took 2 hours to get delivered for a very small order and then the delivery staff were really rude. Really disappointed.

The order took 1hour and 20 mins. Arrived cold. I called to complain and was told I could get discount or new(didn't want either if I'm honest ). Apparently it was busy... was told online it would b 45 mins -60 mins.i feel oinline orders get put to the end and it cost me £9. 00 for a cold pizza n soggy chips. A call back to keep your customers informed regarding delivery times may limit complaints in the feature. Be honest regarding delivery times.

I paid 20 quid the fish and chips was a disgrace and the fries weren't edible, 4 times iv ordered here and it's been shockin. Robbers I will say. Use too much grease

Great food! Only thing I had a problem with was peanuts being in my Ferrero Rocher milkshake!!! My boyfriend was close to ordering one, lucky he didnt as hes allergic!!!

Driver couldn't change a £20 note, gave me £10 change, £5 in silver coins and said he would bring the rest of the change and never turned up

Food was cold when it got here . My fish was really nice, their ferrero rocher milkshake is really good. My mum said her cod didn't even taste like cod and wasn't that nice. The delivery guy didn't have any change and neither did we so we had to wait for him to come back with change

Best kebab I've had in a long time, in which I was sober to eat it. ETA was meant to be 11pm and it came 25 mins early, meaning I wasn't as hungry for long. The food was fresh and nothing was left over. You are now my number 1 choice.

My order was over an hour to be delivered BUT there was a mix up and they didn't send all of my order.. When I rang and told them they straight away sent me what wasn't in my order plus extra so I was very happy.. And the food was lovely!

Very very disappointed with this meal ... We ordered fish and chips .. Which was cold then when we had reheated it started eating the fish it had a hair inside the fish ... The sausage and chips were also cold ... The chips also Tasted very oily and not nice at all .... Also the gravy we purchased had Onions in it and there wasn't mention of this on the order form ... Would never order from here again

Friendly takeaway service and good food

Food is always excellent and perhaps the nicest delivery driver around.

Chips are cold sausage is cold gravy is cold was told a hour which is ok but seems no attempt to keep food warm consider be only 5 mins in the car away little disappointed.

Really quick delivery, like 20 mins. Chicken bites are delicious!! Chips taste like they are cooked in the same oil as the fish so vegetarians be wary.

I was very impressed with how fast the delivery was. I live round the corner from the takeaway but most of the time it's about 10 mins from the the delivery time that it comes but today it was about 15 mins. Good service guys

Fish and chips was nice, kids enjoyed there meals, the cheese chips wasn't nice the chips where warm and the cheese was not melted enough was like rubber, that put me off eating the calzone which I tried a quarter of it and the dough was not cooked all the way through it could of been left in the grill or oven abit longer.

Really nice food! The pizza tastes really fresh and the bases are fluffy. Will definitely be ordering again!
