The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Abbey Bath and North East Somerset South West

Me and my partner are in Bath for a romantic getaway, we went to Cappadocia for dinner and I have so many things to say. I don’t know where to fully start, we were greeted and seated promptly even though we were 15 minutes early. Our waiter was Ersin, he was super knowledgeable about the menu and steered me in the right direction. I had the lamb, which was completely to die for; I have genuinely never enjoyed food that much in a long time. As a chef I always find it hard to enjoy food; but here I forgot I was a chef and simply just enjoyed every single bite. My partner had the mixed kebab and loved it; our desserts were equally as delicious as our mains. My partner had the Baklava and she said it was perfect. I had the cheese and pastry dish (sorry can’t remember its name) it was another great recommendation by Ersin. I genuinely enjoyed everything about my meal, and the service matched the food. Both are a credit to Cappadocia. If you are going here, please book in advance; as it was busy but it’s easy to see why. We will be coming again. And once again thank you for a perfect meal.

We arrived without a reservation, and Eren immediately seated us. She was very kind, discreet, and professional from the start, accommodating our needs and explaining every dish as it arrived. We had a mixed appetizer, grilled fish, and meat. Everything was delicious. The other young woman who served us was also incredibly lovely. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Lovely small intimate restaurant . Gorgeous decor and and subtle lighting. This is the second time we have eaten at Eight and both times the food was exquisite, beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are quietly efficient and attentive. We visit Bath often and Can’t wait to visit Eight again.

Really nice coffee. Yummy sandwiches. Coolest coffee mugs made from recycled coffee grounds. Will definitely be returning.

What a fantastic restaurant! We had a lunch there for work and everything about dining there was perfect. The food was pure heaven, the service was lovely and friendly and we felt so well looked after. I highly recommend!

Absolutely outstanding vegetarian breakfast, fast and friendly service and great atmosphere- highly recommend seeking this place out.

What a wonderful place. Great food in a really cosy atmosphere with excellent staff all round. We would recommend this restaurant most highly for all those visiting Bath. If you look inside you may think it is full but it has two floors of great experience and well worth a visit.

Ubicado en un edificio clásico de Bath, el restaurante cuenta con dos mitades a las que se accede al entrar por la parte posterior del restaurante y volver a la parte de atrás para la segunda mitad. Las habitaciones se envuelven alrededor de la puerta de entrada principal y la escalera al edificio (la puerta está separada para los residentes de arriba). Nos encontrábamos con amigos y esperábamos una buena noche. La comida no me decepcionó, sin embargo, nos pareció que el servicio era un poco desdeñoso y excesivamente lento, no había ninguna posibilidad de sentirse apurado. Además de eso, cada vez que se abría la puerta, estábamos sometidos a una ráfaga de viento helado. También se sentía como si muchos lugares estuvieran abarrotados en el restaurante: una mesa o dos menos le habrían dado un ambiente más relajado. Si puedes soportar eso, la comida valió la pena.

The landlord of this pub is a living legend, I will definitely visit when I'm next in the area.

Both nights we visited this pub (Wednesday and Thursday) the pub was full of young students who came in droves causing a delay on bar service whilst each student bought themselves only a drink and had their ID checked. They then visited a room upstairs where other students were until that is the pub managers went up and cleared them out! However, about 30 minutes later another group of students came and the whole process started again. If I want to go for a drink in Bath next time I will go to a proper pub and one that is not a kindergarten!

We have visited many Ivy restaurants and this one did not disappoint on venue, beautiful building decorated in the Ivy style. Staff were delightful on booking and on arrival. We chose some cocktails, my husband is a negroni fan, however he was surprised to find it quite unpalatable and not balanced. Our food was excellent, the soufflé starter and the truffle fries with main particularly delicious! We were too full for desserts but ordered tea and coffee- it was quite strange when my husband's double espresso arrived in a huge tea cup - not the done thing to get the best out of an espresso, and I was also quite put off when my mint tea arrived and the silverware was almost black with tarnish. Maybe this is a style thing with the Ivy? Not one we were really keen on if that is the case!

Una fabulosa cafetería independiente y cafetería que sirve comida de estilo sueco y excelentes pasteles caseros. ¡Siéntate mirando la abadía o las salas de bombas en el maravilloso café Bath! El bollo de frambuesa es para morirse.

He conseguido probar la mayoría de sus fabulosos productos. Todo es fresco, sabroso y de gran valor. El pastel de carne es excelente. Los giroscopios de pollo un miércoles son un placer. Los sándwiches y rollos están llenos de rellenos frescos. Gran servicio y muy recomendable.

"¡Una celebración de cumpleaños perfecta en The Botanist en Bath! " Tuvimos una noche fantástica en The Botanist en Bath el fin de semana pasado para celebrar un cumpleaños. El edificio es impresionante, el ambiente es único, y el bar, famoso por la televisión, era igual de impresionante en persona. La comida superó nuestras expectativas. Los calamares con salsa de algas y ciruelas eran increíbles, y el pollo con mayonesa de harissa era igualmente delicioso. Los platos principales estaban muy bien preparados, y los cócteles eran excelentes. El servicio fue cálido y atento, haciendo la noche extra especial. El Botánico es el lugar perfecto para una celebración, y no podemos esperar a volver!
