I have managed to try most of their fabulous products. Everything is fresh, tasty & great value. Steak pasty is superb. Chicken gyros on a Wednesday is a treat. Sandwiches & rolls are packed with fresh fillings. Great service & highly recommended.

What a find, wonderful friendly bakery just on the toe path to bath from Newbridge. Great helpful staff. All kinds of things to choose from, bread , biscuits, rolls, pizzas excellent Greek baking and specialities. Wish we’d found it sooner . Would return in a heart beat.

Never known anywhere to have so many staff changes within such a short period of time which results in the staff always learning so never sure about what they are doing - went for a gyro today and I not only did they get the order wrong I think they forgot to put the chicken in - the place has gone considerably downhill recently and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Wonderful bread, excellent pasties and very fine coffee - not to mention friendly service. Basil's is a great spot for a take-away lunch or snack (the cakes and sweet things look amazing too).

Terrific bakery for sandwiches, bread and other freshly baked goods. Family owned and run. Sourdough loaves baked by Basil are truly exceptional and best in Bath. Better anything you get elsewhere in shops. Always friendly and helpful. A delight!

Lovely Swedish cafe. Had the cinnamon bun and a cappuccino. They were delicious and the staff were very friendly. I sat in and it had a lovely cozy atmosphere. Very relaxed. Nice to slow down. Fika indeed! Will definitely visit again to try their other pastries, sandwiches and wraps.

We both ordered the flat iron steak. Came cold and tasteless. £17.75 each. Sent it back and got a refund. Very helpful staff but the food was awful. To be fair we have had a good steak at a Greene King place before but this was disappointing.

Came here yesterday after my cousin from Sheffield was here last week & highly recommended it. Wonderful place with a great, relaxed atmosphere & lovely staff. It was so good we stayed here instead of going sightseeing & had some of their delicious pies for dinner. They were so good we came back for breakfast this morning which again was top quality & delicious, but the thing that really made our trip to The Raven was the amazing marmalade, never had such a yummy marmalade, dark, bitter sweet & totally unctuous. The chef kindly gave us some to take home with us. We're hoping that when we return The Raven will have put it in jars & will be selling it on the bar #nectarofthegods

The full English breakfast was clearly entirely or in part reheated in a microwave. After eating more than 6 English breakfasts in the UK this week, this has to be the worst. The French toast was excellent tho… the prices advertised outside are lower than the prices inside. There’s also a service charge when you pay.
