The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in East of England

Recently went to this Nando’s with a friend, and overall it was a lovely experience as always. I’ve never had a bad experience with this Nando’s but there was just a tiny issue, the garlic bread I ordered was very hard and extremely tough to bite into, I really gave me teeth a challenge trying to eat it, but overall the experience was lovely, food was great and the service was quick and friendly as usual!!

This was an awful trip, they had no chicken, no bottomless drinks which we were only told once we had ordered and that they didn’t have any. One meal came within 5 mins and then had to wait 40 mins for the second meal meaning we just had to watch each other eat. Helena (I’m assuming the manager as in checked top) did not know what was happening was just flapping around and not getting anything done. There were dirty tables everywhere and only around 8 tables of people eating. No apology or anything for the wait for the second meal when we ordered together and that I had finished my food and when we asked were just told this is hospitality

Visit this shop on a weekly basis with the family for take away - the staff are always so polite and friendly! The food is good value for money and plentiful! Nice to see them remaining open during lockdown whilst following the social distancing!

The course is absolutely fantastic and with the sun out our day couldn’t have been any better. The staff couldn’t have been any more helpful, what a great atmosphere, definitely coming back .

Excellent attentive bar service and a good selection of food from the bar menu along with an excellent selection on the specials board.

This is such an underrated restaurant, come in for birthday lunch. No one was in only me and my fiancé. The staff were very friendly and the food was tasty! Quick service, large portions. Really recommend.

One Star - Appalling Service and Bizarre Behaviour My recent experience at Nando’s was truly disappointing, primarily due to the unbelievably unprofessional behaviour of the staff. While the food was mediocre at best, it was the service that left a truly sour taste. Upon ordering a Coca-Cola, I immediately noticed it was completely flat. I politely informed a staff member, expecting a quick replacement. Instead, I was met with disbelief. What followed was truly bizarre: the staff member proceeded to pour themselves a glass from the same machine, and then, incredibly, shared it amongst several other staff members, all while standing in my view, as if to conduct some sort of public taste test to "prove" me wrong. The sheer audacity of this display was astounding. Not only was my feedback dismissed, but I was made to feel like I was being unreasonable. The staff seemed more concerned with their own internal debate about the fizziness of the drink than with addressing a customer's concern. Needless to say, no replacement drink was offered, and the entire interaction was incredibly uncomfortable and insulting. Beyond this bizarre incident, the general demeanour of the staff was lackluster and inattentive. Getting their attention for anything was a task, and there was a distinct lack of care for the diners' experience. I strongly advise anyone considering dining at here to think twice. The combination of mediocre food and truly unprofessional, almost comical, staff behaviour makes for a thoroughly unpleasant experience. There are far better establishments in lakeside that value their customers and understand basic customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Great food, piping hot, quick delivery, delivery driver, courteous, happy and friendly! Asset to the company!!

We were walking to the station and passed this place - I remembered a friend's brother recommended it so we went in and I am so very pleased we did! The food was impeccable and the manager is a dote - turns out he's managed a few places I rate very highly prior to this so I'm not surprised how nice it is. Didn't take photos of the food (next time!) cos 1) hungry so snarfed it 2) low on battery and needed it for the train. We all had the prawn starter which was delicious. Prawns cooked to perfection - still juicy and tasty, with fantastic flavouring, and the sourdough was divine. Mains, two of us had mussels and the other the crab linguine - again, top notch. The sauce the mussels came in was so nice I had to drink the remainder (sorry friends, I know, I know..!) and my friend was defending her linguine with her fork when I tried to snaffle some, it was that good 😄 Sadly, too full for pudding - again - next time. Good wine list (restock your albarinho tho..!).

Lovely quick service, great food from sandwiches to mains very tasty. Best apple pie and custard I have had. Good atmosphere and very clean. Thank you. We will be back.
