Great food served evenings from 5-8pm and a good choice of craft ales available (3 draught & the rest cans & bottles. Owners are extremely friendly & helpful. Visited twice & would have gone more but only open Wednesday to Saturday.

We had the best Francezinha we’ve had in a while and will be going back to Tasca’s regularly from now on!

The team was very welcoming, the food was delicious and the great choices for wine covered all tastes. We had the Ploughman’s with the Chorizo, and would highly recommend!

My husband and I were staying in the area and called in the pub. My husband had ordered the drinks and the landlord had pulled the drinks, it was cash only and neither of us had any money on us. The landlord kindly gave us the drinks and trusted us to come back the next day to pay. He pulled us another drink and we chatted with the locals. We went back on Sunday and had lunch there. It was lovely, all home cooked and fresh vegetables and piping hot. Would definitely recommend, very nice landlord and his wife . We paid the bill including the drinks from the day before. Definitely go back if we stay in the area again.

Went here before playing a gig at the venue next door. Great friendly service, chill atmosphere, super fresh tasty food with generous portions. Insanely good value for money too! Will definitely return if I’m in the area.

It was great. I went with my friends and was recommended the vegan wrap, and got the pistachio brownie. It tasted great with good portions.

What a little gem of a cafe Maggie is French with a wonderful accent (and she tested me! Lol) but is multi lingual and one of the friendliest people you will find in a restaurant Maggie knew all the customers that came in whilst I was there, and they mostly Knew each other too! Such a change from the normal hurry up and order and get it put in front of you as quick as possible restaurants My first but not last visit, and glad my breakfast partner was running late so I could stay longer Looking forward to returning often as I think you will too! An absolutely amazing experience. Sean and Keith worked constantly to make and explain their wonderful food, but still found the time to exchange banter with the customers sat at the counter. The food on the taster menu was varied and all perfectly cooked and presented. The wine flight was spot on and complemented each course. Definitely a place to go.
