My husband and I come here regularly. We love here! Their food is always super delicious and their wine selection is incredible! They always impress us with amazing wines. Their monthly specials of wine and food is also something that I always look for. It’s not a huge place but very cozy and friendly atmosphere. Plus, just a few minutes walk from Liverpool Street station, so convenient. Highly recommend for anyone for any occasion!

This gem of a bar is well worth visiting A great atmosphere where you can hear each other speak and knowledgeable, friendly staff. We never go anywhere else!

Super cute and lovely inside. Food was amazing, specifically the burrata and cauliflower. Service did ruin the experience unfortunately, we felt really neglected throughout the night. We had to ask for the bill three times and on the third were told it’s just a QR we scan and pay through that. It was hard to get anyone’s attention- it felt like staff were trying to ram more people in rather than giving normal service to existing guests. It was really hard to move around and to get to the bathroom as well, we just felt like sardines. I don’t think I would come back but I would recommend Passione Vino which is also a wine bar and nearby.

What a fabulous wine bar away from the hustle n bustle of Liverpool Street. The sparkling wine was fantastic and the moussaka and cauliflower starter were to die for! I will definitely be back again.

Booked at the last minute on Monday evening, excellent discovery! Recommended for its atmosphere, excellent wine list and very tasty cuisine! On Monday evenings they charge the bottle of wine at the supplier's price, therefore -45% from the cost of the card! recommended even just to drink a glass of wine!

Such a lovely wine bar and the service was impeccable. The host / waiter was really friendly and even though there was no space inside he accommodated us outside and gave us a complimentary glass of wine!

Went here last night for a belated engagement celebration and we had the most wonderful experience. The amazing lady helping us was fantastic, every glass of wine was stunning and the bhajis they sell are insane. Highly recommend. We'll be back, thank you for an incredible experience 🥂🥰

Warm atmosphere, good food, great wine, not to mention a great International team, with Marcello, Rui and Antonia accompanying the clients in a nice epicurian trip through grapes and flavours of all around the world. To be visit absolutely!

Marcello was just such fun and so knowledgeable - I appreciate that I tried to explain that I’d love a wine that ‘once licked a stone’ and he absolutely nailed it with a minerally Hungarian white that was delish. Such fun.

Gorgeous wine selection in a beautiful intimate location. The bar staff were really kind and let my friend and I sit in there as late as possible because we could not stop chatting. The cornish wine was delicious and hugely discounted on Retail Mondays.

Absolutely superb, from the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and energetic vibe. We were seated at a lovely little table and ordered some delicious vino which was recommended by the wonderful Marcelo, our fabulous waiter. The cheese and wine board was delicious- again, Marcelo recommended. Our sausage dog, Olive was well accommodated with lots of off cuts and love. Beautiful vibes. 10/10

Was quite excited to come here as I had heard good things. Unfortunately though it wasn’t all that busy there was rarely service downstairs and were there for over 30 minutes before we were served our first glass of wine. Decided not to stay for anything else

Nice atmosphere, good wine, but service was very slow and the waiter had no knowledge about the wine, @ the wine place 😂. Also downstairs it smelled of mould - not good. The food was tasty but portions were pretty small for the price, 17 pounds and I was still hungry after my main.

Just found one of our preferred places in London! Friendly service, amazing food in small plates that allow for an unforgettable experience and a very cozy environment. Did I mention the crazy variety of wine available? I can't picture returning to London without going there again.

A cool cosy place for a delicious wine and nibbles! My friend and I stopped by for a bottle of Spanish red, Camembert and grilled sardines. The food was superb, wine was fantastic with excellent recommendations. We sat by the window watching the world go by, the atmosphere was busy which was lovely. Marcello and the team were wonderful so many thanks to them! We will be back 😊

Small, cozy place for a couple of nice glasses of wine - great selection - combined with tasty food. The steak was delicious! Next time I’ll try the sharing platters for sure. Hugo - best costumer service ever! I will definitely come back!

Humble Grape Liverpool Street has excellent quality wines with very friendly staff who know their wines well and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a good time. In particular, Marcello is the best sommelier one could ever ask for! The food choices that accompany the wines are also delicious - particularly the cheeses (not only the cheese board, but the burrata and baked Camembert are fantastic also). If you’re looking for a post-work drink with a relaxed ambiance, this is the best place for it.

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years, it’s a “local” as far as I’m concerned. Always excellent and convivial service. The small little bar, tucked away on a small side street moments from Liverpool Street station gets a nice, polite bunch of drinkers. I have no quibbles with “house wines”, quality across the board is excellent. Don’t forget the good value Mondays!

A lovely "non-City vibe" place in...... The City. Upstairs is the place to be and thank you Marcello for the finding a place at the window. Not my first time there, nor my last.

There’s a small little alley in a mad a place as Liverpool Street where you can honestly find one of the best experiences in the area that saves you a flight to the continent. Marcelo is an absolute gem as was everyone else - 100% recommend if you’re in the area.

Marcelo is a full legend. The service he gave was charming and he recommended wines that were well balanced, authentic, and in general all out cosmic. I had a great time in a truly atmospheric place.

One of the nicest wine bars I’ve ever been to. A really intimate and authentic feel. Both the wine and food were equally amazing, and we couldn’t have been better looked after - by Hugo who offered brilliant recommendations and made my best friends birthday so special. Kudos to him, he was the star of the show ⭐️

Great little wine bar close to Liverpool Street Station. The wine is the star and it is certain that wine lovers will be happy with this bar. The wine list is extensive with special features to wines from various countries (when we went was Bulgaria). The service was helpful and very polite which made the experience even better.

I went here for an early lunch and honestly it was amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic. I really enjoyed that it was a smaller venue that made the space very intimate. The decor was great with wine bottles placed all over the walls highlighting the variety of wine available. The service was amazing and I unfortunately didn’t get the name of the gentleman who served us but he was great. He was attentive helped with wine selection and was super friendly. The food was amazing. Honestly the quality really was amazing. I ordered the steak which was stunning. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The quality of the meat was on display by keeping it simple. I highly recommend this small local wine bar and restaurant.

We were a little disappointed when we were shown downstairs for our table but that did not last long once we were shown the wine list and menu, actually there was more room, service was great and food was delicious. We had a great evening toping off a wonderful weekend visit from France. Staff were very friendly and proffesional

I cannot stress enough how great my experience at this wine bar was. I came there last friday night with some friends for initially a couple glasses and a few french-inspired tapas, which turned into more bottles of red wine and even some desserts. Everything was perfect! The food was amazing, the wine delicious... I want especially to put the emphasize on the IMPECCABLE service of Pierrick, the bar sommelier, who was with us from start to finish, picking the best wines for us aswell as giving us some interesting facts about the wines and even some tasting tips. Thank you!!

Steaks all ordered medium rare with one blue, 2 came out perfect and two of them basically cooked medium (overcooked). We spent around £450 between 4 people and the service was not upto scratch, the waiter downstairs looked sightly inconvienced everytime we asked for something, it looked like it was too much effort to answer some of our questions, maybe its due to one staff memeber for a whole area. I still tipped him, hopefully the next person gets better service. It would have been nice to have been asked if we wanted sides with the steak (it doesn't come with any) if asked we would have ordered some. The wine was actually really good, great little intimate venue. I would return but would complain if the service is bad again.

Friendly place with quite an extensive choice of wines by glass. The choice ranges from a monthly changing flight of wines, to over 20 individual wines (red, white, sparkling, rosé, orange...). Lovely plates you can choose from, on the side, and you're well on your way for a lovely evening.

Bit of a mixed bag here. Main issue is that the place smells of toilets. Several of my party noticed this. Second is service. We sat downstairs as a party of six. We were served by a guy who was great and a woman who was completely disinterested, and at one point walked away when we were asking her a question. The menu is heavy on small plates and light on main dishes. But the food was tasty.

Fantastic food, wine and service!

They fit us in very last minute and late, the wine was amazing, the service so friendly, and the chips were honestly some of the best I’ve had in London!

Arrived on time for my booking to be told that they was no table available, only two high chairs by the entrance. I explained that I was hoping to eat so would prefer a table. The member of staff said that there was no table for me due to other customers turning up at the same time. He gave no solution despite acknowledging he had my booking. I decided not to stay and spent my hard earned cash elsewhere. Very disappointing!

Was so pleased to have managed to reserve a table has I had not been able to on a previous occasion. Turned up on time for my reservation which they confirmed they had, but no table was available. The only place I could seat was some high chairs by the entrance door, despite there being an empty table. I explained that we wanted to eat so I was expecting a table. The server was pretty blaze that there was no other options. So disappointed and totally ruined our evening. Decided not to stay. Awful customer service.

Excellent wine. We chose a bottle of Rebolo Riberio Godello with the help of one of the excellent bar team. We had never been before and had needed a place for a business meeting near Liverpool Street station. The service was excellent. Attentive but not intrusive. We only had snacks with the wine but they were all very good. Highly recommend.

We recreated our first date anniversary at Humble Grape. The service, wine and selection thereof, as well as food were all impeccable. We would recommend it for any intimate and cosy date idea.

Brilliant atmosphere - classic wine bar

Wine is really good. For the sharing starter, enjoy the one with rice and cheese . However not many choices in food , and didn’t see gluten free friendly alternatives.

We only did drinks here and the champagne on the menu was great. We got a bottle to take home too! The flight tasting not so much though. usually with tastings there is at least one I like. Not this time...

Really loved this place. We had a very nice and knowledgeable waiter, the wines we tried were all delicious, steak was cooked to perfection and just a generally good atmosphere. A bit more of a treat night in terms of price and I’d advise people sit upstairs as there is a bit more of a vibe but I would so recommend.

Best people working there! Staff is super kind and warm, they will help you with anything you need including recommendations on hotels, places to visit etc. if you are a tourist. Wine is incredible and at a very reasonable price. Totally recommend this place!

The atmosphere is like sitting together in a small, dark space and drinking wine. It's not uncomfortable and it feels like entering a local love room and everyone chatting excitedly. The price is reasonable and friendly. If you're an office worker around here, wouldn't you come here often?

We didn't eat so I couldn't rate that but everything else excellent. Friendly professional staff, helpful advice, nice vibe and it felt particularly welcoming for women. I would go back.

We booked the downstairs of Humble Grape as part of a Hen Do. The service was fantastic from start to finish, wine tasting was fun and informative, and the venue bent over backwards to accommodate our requests. Really can't recommend them enough. Thank you to the team!

Just walking down the road to look for a bar and a glas of wine and found this bar. Very cozy. A good experience and great selection of wines. Not the last time.

The wine was alright, not bad, not good. The service was tough to take - I booked a table and was still left standing near the door for 20 minutes. When I finally got the table, someone made a motion for me to go down the stairs, at which point I had to work out which table was mine through process of elimination.

we had a table booked and were on time. we were asked to wait for 10 min on the high chairs at the window and would then be sat down on our table. It never happened. We were not even given a menu or told how to order. Very unsatisfied experience unfortunately
