Great place away from the pubs and close to the train station. The seating is a little cramped and very noisy acoustics. The food and drink were good and very friendly service.

Visiting Humble Grape Liverpool Street is always a guaranteed mood booster. From the moment you step in, you feel at home—perhaps even more so than your own place. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel that this space is yours, allowing you to relax and express yourself freely, painting the evening in your own colors. Marcello, a true superhost, sets the tone with his remarkable energy and infectious enthusiasm. He’s not only incredibly entertaining but also deeply knowledgeable about wine and food, creating an experience that’s both refined and fun. And then there’s Chef Courtney, whose beautifully crafted dishes are a highlight. From the tender, perfectly braised short rib to her on-point medium steak, she truly understands what her guests want. I like my steak medium, and she delivered it just right—a true sign of someone attuned to her guests’ needs. Karen, with her extensive wine knowledge, recommended some fantastic selections tailored to my taste, and their wine list is versatile enough to suit every palate and pocket. Every visit here is a joy, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I think you should treat yourself and do the same!

Enjoyed the evening but could only book a slot for 90 minutes on-line. This meant there wasnt time to eat (other than chips) and it was a rush to finish the bottle of red we had purchased, in essence the slots need to be longer as we ended up spending more money at a different venue just because we had to move on.

Had a beautiful catch up with a friend who I hadn’t seen in 31 years. The place was perfect for our reunion and the service we received suites our special moment !

This is one of the best food/ dining experiences I have had in London. A very friendly greet, wonderful service and food and drink of the highest quality. The wine flight was exciting and tasty, the cured meats and cheeses were delicious and the atmosphere was warm and buzzing. Cannot wait to go back!

Great experience in this lovely winery a few steps from Liverpool street. The ambiance is lovely and the service is very good. Marcello is super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. There is a lot of variety of wines and their quality is really good. I loved the cote du Rhône one. They also have food menu and you can pick nibbles or mains to accompany your wine. I highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Excellent time at Humble Grape, such a little find. The atmosphere was great, choice of wines outstanding, we had the Champagne by the glass, next time I will be choosing a bottle from the huge selection you can see around the wine bar. And excellent service too. Very busy, people in and out, I am not surprised as it is busy. Def will be back... I highly recommend booking!

Nos topamos con la Humble Grape mientras buscábamos un restaurante no de cadena con buena comida y vino cerca de Liverpool Street. Es más un bar de vinos con una excelente selección de vinos. Sin embargo, el menú es mucho más inspirador que el de un bar de vinos promedio. Es un menú pequeño (no es un problema. Preferiría que este sea el caso con buenos ingredientes y cocinar) y por desgracia algunos de los platos ya no estaban disponibles (de nuevo una buena señal por 2 razones - la calidad de los platos, así como la probabilidad de que la comida no está sobreabastecida y servida al día siguiente). No podíamos fallar lo que comimos. El servicio era casual pero eficiente, y acogedor. Es probable que se convierta en un lugar favorito.

My husband and I come here regularly. We love here! Their food is always super delicious and their wine selection is incredible! They always impress us with amazing wines. Their monthly specials of wine and food is also something that I always look for. It’s not a huge place but very cozy and friendly atmosphere. Plus, just a few minutes walk from Liverpool Street station, so convenient. Highly recommend for anyone for any occasion!

Super cute and lovely inside. Food was amazing, specifically the burrata and cauliflower. Service did ruin the experience unfortunately, we felt really neglected throughout the night. We had to ask for the bill three times and on the third were told it’s just a QR we scan and pay through that. It was hard to get anyone’s attention- it felt like staff were trying to ram more people in rather than giving normal service to existing guests. It was really hard to move around and to get to the bathroom as well, we just felt like sardines. I don’t think I would come back but I would recommend Passione Vino which is also a wine bar and nearby.

What a fabulous wine bar away from the hustle n bustle of Liverpool Street. The sparkling wine was fantastic and the moussaka and cauliflower starter were to die for! I will definitely be back again.

Booked at the last minute on Monday evening, excellent discovery! Recommended for its atmosphere, excellent wine list and very tasty cuisine! On Monday evenings they charge the bottle of wine at the supplier's price, therefore -45% from the cost of the card! recommended even just to drink a glass of wine!

Marcello was just such fun and so knowledgeable - I appreciate that I tried to explain that I’d love a wine that ‘once licked a stone’ and he absolutely nailed it with a minerally Hungarian white that was delish. Such fun.

Gorgeous wine selection in a beautiful intimate location. The bar staff were really kind and let my friend and I sit in there as late as possible because we could not stop chatting. The cornish wine was delicious and hugely discounted on Retail Mondays.

Absolutely superb, from the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and energetic vibe. We were seated at a lovely little table and ordered some delicious vino which was recommended by the wonderful Marcelo, our fabulous waiter. The cheese and wine board was delicious- again, Marcelo recommended. Our sausage dog, Olive was well accommodated with lots of off cuts and love. Beautiful vibes. 10/10

Was quite excited to come here as I had heard good things. Unfortunately though it wasn’t all that busy there was rarely service downstairs and were there for over 30 minutes before we were served our first glass of wine. Decided not to stay for anything else

Nice atmosphere, good wine, but service was very slow and the waiter had no knowledge about the wine, @ the wine place 😂. Also downstairs it smelled of mould - not good. The food was tasty but portions were pretty small for the price, 17 pounds and I was still hungry after my main.

Just found one of our preferred places in London! Friendly service, amazing food in small plates that allow for an unforgettable experience and a very cozy environment. Did I mention the crazy variety of wine available? I can't picture returning to London without going there again.

A cool cosy place for a delicious wine and nibbles! My friend and I stopped by for a bottle of Spanish red, Camembert and grilled sardines. The food was superb, wine was fantastic with excellent recommendations. We sat by the window watching the world go by, the atmosphere was busy which was lovely. Marcello and the team were wonderful so many thanks to them! We will be back 😊

Humble Grape Liverpool Street has excellent quality wines with very friendly staff who know their wines well and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a good time. In particular, Marcello is the best sommelier one could ever ask for! The food choices that accompany the wines are also delicious - particularly the cheeses (not only the cheese board, but the burrata and baked Camembert are fantastic also). If you’re looking for a post-work drink with a relaxed ambiance, this is the best place for it.

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years, it’s a “local” as far as I’m concerned. Always excellent and convivial service. The small little bar, tucked away on a small side street moments from Liverpool Street station gets a nice, polite bunch of drinkers. I have no quibbles with “house wines”, quality across the board is excellent. Don’t forget the good value Mondays!

There’s a small little alley in a mad a place as Liverpool Street where you can honestly find one of the best experiences in the area that saves you a flight to the continent. Marcelo is an absolute gem as was everyone else - 100% recommend if you’re in the area.

Marcelo is a full legend. The service he gave was charming and he recommended wines that were well balanced, authentic, and in general all out cosmic. I had a great time in a truly atmospheric place.

One of the nicest wine bars I’ve ever been to. A really intimate and authentic feel. Both the wine and food were equally amazing, and we couldn’t have been better looked after - by Hugo who offered brilliant recommendations and made my best friends birthday so special. Great little wine bar close to Liverpool Street Station. The wine is the star and it is certain that wine lovers will be happy with this bar. The wine list is extensive with special features to wines from various countries (when we went was Bulgaria). The service was helpful and very polite which made the experience even better.

I went here for an early lunch and honestly it was amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic. I really enjoyed that it was a smaller venue that made the space very intimate. The decor was great with wine bottles placed all over the walls highlighting the variety of wine available. The service was amazing and I unfortunately didn’t get the name of the gentleman who served us but he was great. He was attentive helped with wine selection and was super friendly. The food was amazing. Honestly the quality really was amazing. I ordered the steak which was stunning. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The quality of the meat was on display by keeping it simple. I highly recommend this small local wine bar and restaurant.

We were a little disappointed when we were shown downstairs for our table but that did not last long once we were shown the wine list and menu, actually there was more room, service was great and food was delicious.
