Very good place for large parties

Into a private party here the venue is simply amazing and it is just designed for pure partying what you can do with the space is really unbelievable and highly recommended...

A beautiful venue for any kind of function. These guys really are professionals and have every eventuality covered. Everything ran ridiculously smoothly and meticulously and we don't have any complaints at all. Great staff, Great atmosphere and an over all incredible night.

El menú para los canapés y la cena que tuvimos que elegir era bueno, eran muy serviciales también. La cena fue muy sabrosa, y mis colegas pueden ser difíciles de complacer. Tuvimos una actividad previa a la cena y un DJ después, y sin duda había suficiente espacio para ambos. Matthieu y su equipo en la noche fueron muy profesionales y no pudieron hacer lo suficiente para nosotros. Sin duda recomendaríamos la vainilla como lugar de celebración.

Pretty venue, very modern, smells like vanilla which I found amazing as I hate awful smells. I went there for a wedding reception, the food was great, staff too. Sad thing was the price for the alcoholic beverages was expensive. Fun things to do like photo booth with costumes to wear.

Lovely spot. The manager is great and extremely helpful. It’s always best to arrange a visit to discuss space and discuss arrangements in person as the manager give you a full run down and also allows tastings (Ovi let him know prior to the visit that you would also like to tasters) It’s unfortunate that the latest closing time is 1am however it’s still a location to hold events such a christening after party.

We held a corporate event in Vanilla this week. The venue is a tucked away little gem. Easy location to access with public transport, the venue itself was spotless. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner, security, bar staff and manager. The food had rave reviews from all our clients. This really is a hidden gem of a venue. Would highly recommend.

Matthieu and his team at Vanilla were absolutely fantastic at our event last weekend. From the very minute we met him, Matthieu’s professionalism and charm made us confident that he would produce exactly the style of event that we wanted. On the night, the team were brilliant, warm and friendly, making sure the whole event ran smoothly. Not a table went unwiped, not a guest went unserved. From the security guys, to the barmen, and even the lovely cloakroom lady, all were professional and charming. The attention to detail was faultless. The food was delicious, the sushi bar was fresh and beautifully presented, everyone went home full and nothing went to waste, Matthieu knows exactly how much food you will need to order! So many of our guests told us that our event had the best atmosphere of any function they had ever been to. Of course, that was very gratifying to hear, but it was due in no small part to Matthieu and his staff. Vanilla is a complete venue, beautifully dressed with a fantastic lighting system, sound system, DJ deck, selfie mirror, and full technical capabilities. If you want to show a film or have a presentation, as we did, Matthieu will ensure it is all set up and working for you, no stress! We had the most fantastic time at Vanilla and the team were an absolute pleasure to work with.

We dealt with Matthieu when booking out engagement party here and from start to finish, him and his team were incredible. We had over 100 guests and he helped guide us as to what drinks and food to have, how much of it we were likely to need and what time they would be best served throughout the night. We also sent him photos of us which he made into a slide show for everyone to see which was a lovely touch! In addition to this, the venue looks super contemporary which we loved. The night completely exceeded all of our expectations so we would very highly recommend Vanilla.

I cannot fault Vanilla, I booked the venue for our work Christmas party for around 70 guests. Matthieu the MD is meticulous with his organisation, briefed the team ahead of the event and was on site the entire evening. The drinks were constantly flowing, the glasses were regularly tidied away and there was always someone on hand if we needed anything. All the guests were really impressed with the quality and quantity of food. It's the perfect venue for a party or event. I really recommend it, we had a great night, thank you.

Lovely event space in the centre of London

Matthieu and his team made our charity event so easy to run. With their incredible attention to detail, high levels of service and flexibility it was a great success. They consistently went above and beyond what was expected. The venue was impeccable, and the glamourous look and feel provided the perfect setting to host our guests with a magical evening.

The food was very disappointing I only had one course from a three-course meal

Amazing space, creatively lit and good sound system. Food was amazing although limited places to sit. Bar was well staffed although a bit slow. All other staff were friendly and nice. Toilets etc were clean and cloak room worked well. Great party.

Mathieu and his team are world class! Our first big private party and everything went like clockwork. The food was amazing and the alcohol flowed all night. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Looking forward to our next opportunity with them all.

This was our second celebration at Vanilla; a 50th for a great friend who knows how to throw a party, not to be forgotten, and this one certainly won't be!

La comida era deliciosa y la iluminación y el ambiente no podría ser mejor. Después de la cena tuvimos una fantástica discoteca. El menú de bebidas, seleccionadas con ayuda de matt era perfecta. Recomiendo Vainilla sin titubeos y tener Matt celebrar el evento fue impecable.

Teníamos una increíble fiesta privada de cumpleaños y con decoración blanca. Es lo suficientemente grande para un grupo grande que más de 80 personas.

We hired this venue for a private dining/awards presentation event. Such a nice venue in a great central location. Staff were efficient and friendly, and the food was amazing! Highly reccomend!

thank you Vanilla for helping me host my 40th so well. Matthew was so accommodating and helpful. All the guests were wowed by the white theme and it's sound system means DJs have minimal setting up. The bar staff were good and the venue allowed us to drop off alcohol the day before, which was helpful.

Vanilla is a nice place to have a meeting or a banquet in a quite street in central london. Even though its a old property but the maintanence is quite decent and well staffed. this is just infront of my flat and lot of parties and people i notice over the week ends.

Good location - just a gentle 15 minute stole from Euston.Vanilla is easy on the eye and staffed by real people who care about how well they do things. No one seems to have graduated from fake-smile school and everyone is discretely attentive. We will be back.

I had a great 30th celebration at Vanilla last week. The venue was perfect for c.100 people and all the guests loved it. The staff were extremely helpful and Matt was on hand to make sure all was going to plan. I definitely recommend this if you would like a private celebration in Central London.

This was my second time of hiring Vanilla and its amazing staff. First the space is looks amazing, is impeccably clean and has great facilities, from coat check to rest rooms, to AV equipment. Again I had an unusual ask, I wanted to cook my food for 60 guests - though I live in Australia! From early liaison with the MD via internet and email, to the follow-through when I arrived in London. Staff were courteous, co-operative, professional with great attention to detail. Krimo the chef is a legend and so hard-working. The floor staff are of the highest standard. It all comes from the top and that is why it works so well. It made me very proud.I would not hesitate to recommend them and would be delighted to work there again.

We recently hosted a party at Vanilla. Not only was the food delicious and plentiful and the cocktails fantastic, but the staff were polite, super-attentive and helpful. Events manager Matthieu was a total pleasure to deal with, gave superb advice and ran the night so smoothly that we were able to be guests at our own function without any worries. We had a ball and the feedback from our guests has been nothing but positive. Incredible service, clean and trendy venue and fab food.

This place is such a huge success story and Matthieu is on stand by to help point you in the right direction and with any additional contacts you may need. I was over the moon with the charming personal service, the attention to detail and the act we hired 'a Katy Perry' look-a-like was spot on, a huge hit with my daughter's crowd so much so they still talk about it now. The food was great quality and pitched perfectly for teens and adults, there was so much of it you will be confident that no one will go home hungry. The sushi bar was a sensation. It proved a memorable event for us all and I would not hesitate to recommend it on any account.

We were guests at family 60th birthday party. The decor and atmosphere were fab. All the staff were really lovely and friendly. The canapés were tiny explosions of flavour. Who would have thought a mushroom vol-au-vent could put such a smile on your face? And the cocktails........oh my God, the cocktails.......

What a fabulous place for a party! Door staff, bar Staff, waiters/waitresses all so polite and friendly. Decor is fantastic! The food was delicious! Plenty of seating, big area for dancing. All in all a fantastic venue! Oh and the DJ and the photographer were great!

I could not speak highly enough of the whole Vanilla team. From management to floor staff to the chefs who backed me up cooking my food. Everyone was courteous, co-operative, professional with great attention to detail. Simply the best and with some great ideas.I would not hesitate to recommend them and would be delighted to work there again. Mine was an unusal request - a dinner for our company in the UK but with me, an Australian TV cook, coming to London to cook in a new environment. They made it very, very easy.

I held a lunchtime party for my 60th Birthday – and for 60 people in Vanilla. I looked at 2 venues – the other being “The Groucho”, and the latter initially being my preferred option probably on the grounds of its status. But in the end I was delighted I opted for Vanilla. It offered outstanding value for money and ideal facilities for our needs. The staff were exemplary at all levels. The food was excellent and wine and drinks (plenty of lovely cocktails) instantly available to ensure happy well lubricated guests. We made good use of the AV facilities with speeches enhanced by audio visual. The room with its white décor looked magnificent on entry and added immeasurably to the convivial atmosphere that prevailed throughout. I could not have been happier with my choice of venue and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We choose Vanilla as had attended another party there a while ago. Everything was fantastic about it. Matthieu was very good with all his advice around the party, the tasting was great fun and on the night everything went perfectly. Oya the manager made us feel very well looked after and speical and attended to every detail beautifully, the bar staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. A perfect evening. So many of our guests were impressed as well. Thank you very much. Hope to be back to for another event soon.

My company hired this venue for a Friday night corporate event to celebrate our 25th birthday.I was amazed at so many things:1) the decor of the venue2) the friendliness of the staff - both bar/food and security3) the range of drinks that are available - at quite reasonable prices4) the lighting and entertainment systemAll in all, everyone had a fantastic night and I would recommend this to anyone who needs a small-medium sized venue that is modern, fresh and 5*

We were guests at a 50th birthday ball - we were very impressed by all the staff (door, bar, general). They seamlessly managed looking after us all and dealing with the inevitable spillage of drink etc. They did this all of this with humour and good will. Food was fantastic - cocktails delicious and a wonderful experienceThanks to all involved.

You might feel a bit nervous about going down to this basement restaurant, as you really have no idea what it is like from the road, but you really shouldn't be worried. The food is adventurous, tasty and served in decent portions. The decor could be stark, but it's livened up with interesting lighting. I love the ability to cocoon yourself off with curtains on some of the tables, and it has a very chilled, relaxed and yet stylish vibe all round.

I held my 40th birthday there and it was one of the best nights of my life! The food, drink and service were amazing and Matt, the manager, made sure it all went off like clockwork. We also hired a band and some gaming tables and Matt again made sure that the sound and general organisation were excellent. We were guests at a family party on Saturday night.Just the right amount of 'pazaaz'. Silver and black decor gives it a nightclub feel, but bright and jolly.Staff couldn't have been more accomodating. Hot canapes to begin with WERE hot and delicious. My husband's request for more spring rolls, and then for mustard for his salt beef were delivered quickly, with a smile. Buffet was varied and suited the occasion. We liked the slightly quieter are at the back of the room.Would recommend.

I wanted to throw a party in London to celebrate my 50th; we live in Australia and I hadn't been home for 2 years. My friend Peter found Vanilla and put me in touch with Matthieu the Manager. I arranged everything via email and phone with Matthieu and visited the club 4 days before the event. I sampled the wines and Peter had sampled the food prior to the event. I cannot fault any part of the evening; it went so smoothly, flawless! The club is as beautiful as it looks on the website and immaculately clean; the wine choice was varied and reasonably priced, as was the champagne. Matthieu gave good advice about the food selection of canapés, followed by bowl food and they were very happy to honour my request of another round of munchies at 11.30pm. Arranging balloons, our own band, a special "celeb" singer, birthday cakes, videos, speeches.......nothing was too much trouble. They even ordered a cab for us at the end of the night. The staff on the night were outstanding; as well as Matthieu, Benoit the Assistant Manager and Oya, our host gave a service level that you’d expect at the Ritz or Savoy without the stuffiness. They were discreet, timely, polite and simply delightful. They collected and stored my birthday cards for me, always made sure that I had a glass of bubbles in my hand; took care of one of my friends with the minimum of fuss when she went flying off the dance floor. I work in hospitality and event management so I had high expectations and I can honestly say that the team at Vanilla are one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The comments from my 120 guests were overwhelming. This venue is stylish, the technology is up to date, the staff are exceptional and it is amazing value for money. Look no further! Thank you Team Vanilla for making my 50th one of the best nights of my life!

We had a special brithday party at Vanilla, we were greeted on the door by two surly bouncers, and once names were given, we were in. Venue is lovely, and is all in Vanilla, food was very good too....... The venue is perfect for a party. The only shame was that alot of the party goers felt the same, that the bouncers were very arrogant and unneccesarily rude... We are all middle aged people dancing, no trouble makers at all, and no bad vibes, so the bouncers didn't need to be so rude and arrogant.... But its obviously their own ego that they need to feed. However, detracting from that, it was a great venue, and a lovely place for a party. Cloakroom staff were all lovely and very helpful.

I often eat at Vanilla - usually on Friday lunchtime. The all white decor is stylish (though I am glad I am not in charge of housekeeping) and gives a very clubby atmosphere (nightclub, not gentlemen's club).The food is always good but can best be described as small but perfectly formed - noone could complain the portions are too large. I particularly love the fish dishes, though the puddings are always a delight and most unusually for London restaurants the cheese board is worth consdering.I don't tend to drink much at lunchtime, but the various light white and rose wines I have sampled have been light and fruity and went well with the summer meals. I moved over to red for the autumn and have not been disappointed.The acoustics, like many London restaurants, make this a lively place rather than an intimate ones - if you want a tete a tete ask for one of the booths or side tables as the centre has lots of sound!

Well I don't know what the food taste like but I will never have a chance to try it. Tried to book it for a gathering with my cousins from HK about 3 weeks ago on the net and have heard nothing about it. About a week ago I tried to ring them to confirm, however I was put on answer phone, so I left a msg with my phone number. Still heard nothing from them. So I ring them last night and I was told that the online reservation is for enquiry and that my table is not booked!!! He didn't even make any adjustment!! What a joke!! He could have apologise and make some other arrangement. I only got 2 days left and I have to book another restaurant in a short period of time!!! I am so angry!!!

Vanilla Restaurant lives up to its name with white tables and chairs. Nice bar area too. We had perfectly cooked scallops and a tuna trio as starters, plus nicely presented lemon sole and John Dory to follow, with goopy choc fondant and superb intense flavours in passion fruit sorbet. We have a smooth rioja. Bread is charged extra at £1.50. Service from a citizen of Mayotte was attentive. In total we paid £110 for 2. I would go again.

A beautiful concept, you enter the restaurant at pavement level and go down to the basement where you are greeted by the Maitre D. Everything is white! The floor, the seating, curtains divide each area of seating giving a feeling of intimacy in the spacious area. music is classy and not intrusive. you feel spoilt by the attention of the waitors the minute you sit down.After we had had a drink we were shown in to a stunning black and white dining room.with either small cubicles or larger tables, extremely elegant yet intimate.The food was second to none and beautifully presented. Even the cheeses board was a work of art! we shall definately be going again next time we're in the city. Many thanks to Mathieu for a great experience.

The food gives pearl a run for their money and thats saying something...Heston is in the making with the chef Isi there...he's fantasic!! the food is amazing, the service spot on....can't wait to go back!!ooo they also hyave a members club....sooo tempted!!
