Great place, we were there on the weekend

One of the best Jazz Clubs that I visited. The atmosphere is a most amazing. Book your table before you go so you avoid waiting for too long. amazing people

I have visited Ronnie Scott’s on several occasions and have always enjoyed the experience. However, my recent visit was disappointing. My partner and I were unable to secure tickets for an event, so we decided to queue outside the venue, as we were informed that tickets would be available at the door and it’d be easy to get them if we queued from 10:30 PM. We arrived on time and waited in the cold for over two hours. Unfortunately, a few people ahead of us were told the venue was full. Bad luck this time. While we understand that space is limited, what we found frustrating was the lack of communication. Despite the long queue, no staff member came outside to inform us that the venue had reached capacity. Instead, people had to approach the door themselves to find out. After waiting for hours in the cold, this felt inconsiderate and could have been easily avoided with a simple announcement. However, the most disappointing part of the evening came when one of their staff members began picking people at random to let them inside. This unprofessional behavior left those of us who had patiently waited feeling angry and confused. It was something I would expect from a lesser venue, not from a reputable place like Ronnie Scott’s. Sadly, this experience has left a bad impression on us, and I fear they have lost two loyal customers as a result. I hope they will address these issues to ensure that future guests are treated more fairly.

Excellent evening out at a great iconic location. Food is poor, but you are there for the music, so I would advise you to eat before you arrive

Last time I was there was 1974 and it is just as good. Food was great and fair prices. Will make an annual visit.

We went to the Late Late Show. While we had to queue a little outside, it just made us heave a sigh of relief that we'd prebooked tickets, which I'd definitely recommend you do. The venue is super sharp, and while you can see it gets a lot of traffic through it, it's kept in pristine and polished condition. The waiters are all in uniform and will provide a drinks service to your table. The whole vibe of the place feels so unique and special. And this isn't even mentioning the music yet! Absolutely incredible musicians, atmosphere and venue. I was also pregnant when I visited so I was truly delighted to see the extensive non alcoholic drinks options on the menu!

Fantastic evening of entertainment, drinks and food - as usual. Curtis Stigers & his band were excellent, service was superb. I'm already looking forward to my next event/visit.

I’ve always wanted to visit Ronnie Scott’s and was really excited to finally go, especially after purchasing my ticket in advance. However, my experience was completely ruined. Despite having a valid ticket, I was denied entry by two bouncers who accused me of being drunk, even though I don’t drink at all. To make things worse, they made racist comments, calling me a 'cracker.' I was shocked and deeply offended. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially from such a well-known venue. I left feeling disrespected and extremely disappointed.

Was our first time there and we loved every minute of it. Music was wonderful, drinks were nice Even the meal was surprisingly good.

We booked for a Sunday lunch session and we were entertained by the fabulous Jiving Miss Daisy. Once seated, our food and drink orders were promptly taken and the food service was prompt with the drinks a little slower. Everyone in our party agreed that the food was superb. The atmosphere was lovely throughout the session and the music was outstanding.

Amazing venue, good old-fashioned service and great views of the stage, no matter where you sit.

What an immaculate vibes totally perfect for a romantic date. Had the pleasure to attend Cécile McLorin live performance which was my first time to a jazzy night. Loved how quiet the place was and how respectful the staff is. I tried the non alcoholic margarita and it was right on spot

This iconic jazz venue is simply the best. We did have great seats, only a few feet from the stage and I felt like I was among the musicians. You are quite closely packed together, not so you're touching but I think this added to the feeling in the room. The vibe, the atmosphere. The staff are exceptional. Friendly, happy to be there, happy to be serving you. When you're engrossed in the music you'll feel a touch on your arm and there's an attentive staff member who noticed your drink was low before you did. They're like ghosts moving around in the limited space. Always attentive, never annoying. The food was good but that's not what you're here for. Top service, eaten then quickly taken away. I had burger and fries and it was good. I can't wait to go back.

Amazing experience seeing Curtis stigers in such an intimate setting. Good food. Avoid bench seating at the side if you need space around you. Very enjoyable evening.

Saw the amazing Curtis Stigers at this amazing venue for the first time on Tuesday 10th Sept. The experience will stay with me for a long time. I normally feel anxious when out to gigs especially in one people hold with such high esteem. As soon as I walked in the staff were amazing, and I felt, for once, like a VIP. Thank you. I will be back soon.

Fantastic music, service and atmosphere

First time at Ronnie Scott's & it was brilliant. Great atmosphere, smaller that you think, not a bad seat in the house, ignore if they say restricted view not really. Highly recommend, go! Curtis Stigers & his band were brilliant, such a nice guy, still got the voice! I believe he is returning I February, don't miss him!

We didn't eat as we wanted to focus on the music. I love this place, such a great vibe, the staff are always friendly and the music is always brilliant.

Wonderful English FULL ... it's worth visiting this place

Music really good. Service and seating a bit weird and not worth the price. We were 7 people. They split us 4 and 3 and sat on opposite sides the room. Us in a 4 were cramped into a church like seating with legs cramped up and sat on a plank of wood. Service was very slow. If it was cheap tickets then fair enough but this was £55 each for only 1.5 hours of music. Not sure I could recommend it. Maybe if you had more comfortable seats

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here with our grown up children. Food is unexpectedly nice and the band, Blue Harlem were fabulous. Win, win. Sharing this intimate space, filled with glorious live music was quite moving.

One of the most disappointing places Ive ever been. Me and husband took my parents and a couple of he friends to the apparently one of londons most famous jazz bars. It turned out to be extremely embarrassing. We got super early so we could get a table and most of the customers were 60+ which you expect it to be at a jazz bar. When the show were about to start more young people came in despite the lack of space even if they wanted to stand. It soon became impossible to order something at the bar or even walk around. Not sadly enough, the woman performing started to beat box, yep, at a jazz bar. And between performances it was playing rap music (even rihanna). Music was also so so loud I asked to turn a bit down twice without success. 30 min into the shows started everyone that was 40+ left. Not to mention the £8 wine priced as £40 something. Sadly disappointed

Excellent Soul Night at Ronnie Scott's. First time for the wife and I and the band were nothing short of excellent. Each band member having a particular skill and singing style which meant a varied set of songs to suit everyone's taste! The food was excellent all round and faultless service throughout the night. Definitely going again!

It was a quality time to forget about everyday life with live jazz music in a wonderful space. I decided to sit without eating, so I had a drink. I had a side seat, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We lined up outside until the venue opened, but the doors didn't open on time. I live in a land of perpetual summer, so the July night in London was much colder than I expected. It's better to have a jacket.

Great atmosphere in this cozy jazz joint. Not a bad seat in the house...cocktails were really good (Sazerac, Manhattan and wife had a couple Mai Thais). Thought pricing for cocktails was fair for the environment and the band we watched were super talented...we would go back.

Great venue. Best for those who don't want to stand for the whole gig 😀.

We loved the atmosphere and the music the food was ok but the service wasn't brilliant a lady brought our food but that was it she didn't tend to us we wanted a drink and couldn't get her attention then she got pissed off when we tipped her what we thought her service was worth. Would definitely return but not for dinner.

Just love Ronnie's. We were seated quickly. Service was great, very fast. The cocktail's were strong and good value for money. The sunday roast was delicious and I could not eat it all and the music was brilliant. Ronnie's is such an iconic venue and it is always an honour and delight to be there.

My friend and I love this place; it’s our usual spot. It's such a classy venue, and the music is always the best. The staff are super friendly, and hospitable especially the management and security. I hope they can always maintain these high standards.

Super traditional Jazz bar in London. Excellent experience, music, atmosphere. I highly recommend it. You have to reserve. You can just have drinks or have dinner and a drink listening to jazz masters.

Want to say w3 were fantastic as expected. But I must say Daniele was by far the most attentive waiter. The front of door staff allowed us to move due my noise sensitivity which was amazing. But out of all the ismay, Jacque, amd daniele me me feel most comfortable and the ladies helped me out of a dress malfunction amd I am so grateful for there kindness and respect. Those 3 plus Sally made my evening xxx

A stalwart of the London jazz scene for many years, Ronnie Scott’s still retains it’s atmosphere of top quality jazz where you can rub shoulders with jazz aficionados, gangsters and your average musical appreciator over a cocktail or five and emerge at 3am feeling like time has stood still for the last 7 hours.

I was so excited when i so the high reviews, but it was a Real disappointment, the worst sound system i still feel my head buzzing , the band members just a beginners ,, and not even playing Jazz, ppl where leaving ..i wish i didn’t waste my last night in London 💔

We went for Jazz, and it wasn’t really jazz. It was just some loud music by amateurs that knew nothing about jazz. The music was just painfully loud and annoying to the point where people were just leaving every few minutes. This might be a strategy to have more people come and go for more revenue per table. If you are planning to have a classy night with nice jazz music, don’t let the the high reviews fool you and simply don’t go.

Booked to see Secret Night Gang on a whim and it was amazing! There will be a queue to get in even with a ticket but that’s how you know it’s amazing. Loved the seating and the ambience - feels quite intimate. I would say talking is kept to a minimum and loved that people didn’t record the band either. Service was okay - I think they need more waitstaff. Felt it took ages for get food and drinks and we didn’t order another drink because we couldn’t get the attention of anyone. Would highly highly recommend this to anyone visiting the city!!

Saturday night is old school and the music and vibe is brilliant...if you love the 70's 80's Jazz/funk grooves music. Friendly people too.

One of the best jazz performances I've seen, by a band called La Viva de Ferro. Great sound, wonderful ambience, very helpful staff.

Service was sparse, but lovely when you found a waiter. Food took a minute, yet the burger and fries was up to snuff. The atmosphere was good for a jazz club! It’s a little rough around the edges and the upstairs can get crowded and unnavigable quickly.

Had been a while since our last visit. Was even more impressed than in previous years. We went to see Blues on a Sunday night, the band were absolutely fantastic. We didn't eat a meal, but had some fries with our drinks. Service was attentive and fast, which is pretty impressive given the number of tables. Was surprised the cocktails were so good, the espresso martini was spot on, which was not always the case. Tickets are booked in categories and seats allocated on arrival. The only negative is the legroom in the bench seats is really restrictive, someone very tall probably wouldn't fit, in which case get there early.

Absolutely love ronnie scotts! I've been here multiple times and always bring my friends when they're visiting the UK. The drinks are a little pricy - but because it's a live music venue with performances. The popular shows get sold out weeks in advance. I was worried that the show I purchased for was very different to my music taste but did not disappoint in the slightest! I have full faith now that all the shows are amazing quality. The late late night shows are usually tickets by the door and much cheaper - though the show ends around 2/3am. Do get there early if you want more decent seating! There is also option to dine in.

The calibre of musicians here blew me away, even with my expectations set sky high. Yes, yes, yes! Ronnie’s is worth the visit.

This for us was a most do thing since we are jazz lovers… It has a jazz feel inside… But for us, I don’t think we will do it again but it was a tick box life thing that we have achieved.

Great atmosphere and what a history this club has!

The only Club in London with decent Jazz. Unfortunately, the great names don't come to the capital often. There are 3 or 4 top shows a year. The room is small but cozy. The only decent seats to see the show are the tables, which aren't easy to book unless you're a member. The other seats are uncomfortable! The menu is rather small but the food is good although expensive. The portions are tiny! You need to queue for at least 30 to 45 minutes before each show, otherwise, you end up getting the worst seats. Members are admitted first and only then the general public.

My wife and I booked to see Jose James last Saturday, 1st June. This was our first time at Ronnie Scott’s and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience! Aside from Jose’s (and band) incredible performance, the venue itself is just simply fabulous. Very friendly staff, great food and service. Considering the size of the venue, the sound quality is just superb. With so much history, it is just mind blowing when you realise who has played there in the past. We just had the best night, and as if the performance wasn’t enough we had the pleasure of meeting Jose at the end of the night. Incredible. We will certainly be visiting again!

What a great place! Beautiful service, amazing music. We didn't eat but drinks were great, especially the cocktails, made by a professional bartender. Will definitely return. Only thing we'd do differently next time is book the later show. We went to the 6:30 and it felt a bit rushed

Incredible experience! The band is just too good! We came for the music and it didn't disappoint, but the food and service were better than expected, which was a nice surprise. If you like any type of music, but especially funky music, this is not to be missed!

Super civilised and arty environment, well run place, good acoustic, good visibility, well ventilated, easy to find. We have booked more events now but we never have been disappointed by the musicians and the staff provides first class service.
