Little Portland Cafe in City of London, Westminster

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying an amazing breakfast at Little Portland Cafe, and I can’t recommend this place highly enough! The Big Full English Breakfast was simply spectacular, complemented perfectly by a delicious spinach soup. Both dishes were served in generous portions, ensuring a satisfying start to the day, and all for very reasonable prices. Despite being a smaller establishment, the cafe impresses with its cleanliness and tidiness, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. What truly sets Little Portland Cafe apart, though, is the incredibly friendly staff. Their attentiveness was remarkable – I was asked multiple times if everything was to my satisfaction and if I needed anything else, which made me feel genuinely cared for. If you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast experience, Little Portland Cafe is the place to go. Their combination of delicious food, warm atmosphere, and exceptional service is unbeatable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Fantastic food (recommend the Big Breakfast!), excellent service and extremely reasonably priced. All staff are super friendly. Big portions for under a tenner! Highly recommend.

Excellent little cafe just off Regent Street. Only ever had the breakfast here which is always excellent and incredible value for money. Staff are very friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

This is a little gem of a cafe in central London behind Oxford street , not been in about 3 years and all staff remembered who I was , proper family business , please visit if your near , you’ll have the best welcome and best food at great prices x

Had pasta which was delicious and certainly filled a hole. Little furry man enjoyed his sausage too.

Authentic English breakfast, no-nonsense and very friendly

Bustling little place where locals have their breakfast. Fresh food and most of all, very friendly and efficient service. For 20 £ two bellies will be happily filled.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. The staff are absolutely lovely, the food is pretty good and the prices very reasonable considering you're two minutes walk from Oxford Circus. Haven't had takeaway but they have lots of regulars and are always busy which is the best recommendation you can get.

Nice cafe, friendly staff and reasonable price's for the West End would definitely recommend it over the likes of Starbucks

Proper cafe with a great menu. For the location the prices are very moderate. Enjoyed the big breakfast, (£9.50) everything was cooked perfectly, just the way I like it. Very friendly staff too. Btw, A Christmas dinner is on the menu at £12.50. I'll update when I've tried it. 2/12/23

Great little cafe with great customer service and tasty food. I will definitely go back on my next trip. I will note that it was my first time trying an English Breakfast and they didn’t have the blood sausage I wanted to try (could be a pro or a con I guess depending on how you feel about it) I should’ve asked if they had it but didn’t think about it until after the fact.

Pretty busy and popular cafe. We sat down and had a nice breakfast and bacon sandwiches. Service was friendly. Staff work very hard and serve fast.

A hidden gem! Amazing service, food and prices! I literally went by to get a sandwich and it tastes sooo fresh and great price. The man who served me was attentive, making sure the order was perfect and the most warming smile/atmosphere

Look here, screw the hipster cafes charging 4pound for a measly bananacake slice. Come here for good food, great price. Amazing service, bossman is nicest, most considerate one u can find. Had coronation chicken sandwich, giant chunks of chicken, not too sweet. May not look as dolled up and squeaky clean as ur botoxed new age coffeeshop but i rate this place a 10/10. Dont scam urself judging on aesthetics, ur mouth needs nutrition, not an IG filter, give it a try.

One of my favourite cafes discovered in London! The service was excellent, staff were so cute and friendly. The food was so delicious, we got breakfast at first but ended up getting lunch to go for our train ride. The location is fantastic because it’s on a no car road so sitting out on the patio was so relaxing. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I couldn’t be any happier when I went to this place. Little place (a bit busy when we got there) and you know what to expect when you see a lot of people waiting to be seated, it’s gonna be good. And trust me when I said, this is a good place. Very humble, very “honest” and friendly, very good overall. The quality of the food is good, the prices are reasonable as we’re talking about central London. I mean, this is a very good place and you shouldn’t be having breakfast at pret or costa, you should be supporting locals like this one! Highly recommend it.

Charming breakfast and lunch café in a quiet alley. It has a lot of character, great sandwiches and one of the best full English breakfasts you can get in town. They have a lot of regular customers which says a lot. The staff are friendly , service is great, as is the food. Perfect, especially if you'd like to avoid the more touristy places.

Just finished breakfast, it was very very good. Ask for the small/big breakfast. You won’t regret it. Also, the service was awesome and very polite. Great prices as well!

My partner and I were in London for a birthday getaway, and we stumbled across this little café. Got our drinks before I had a chance to sit down, and there was hardly any wait for our food. We had the full english breakfast and pasta carbonara, and both were just scrummy! Great staff morale and great service, amazing little place!

This is a great little cafe. The English Breakfast was just what I had hoped to find. The staff were friendly and helpful, calm with no rush to order. Service was quick and efficient, I will be returning throughout my trip.

Visiting from USA and found this place on google a couple of days into my trip - first time I got back to London I went to a Weatherspoons for an all day brunch - big mistake - this place is so much better - and cheaper - £8.50 for everything you can see in the picture below - don’t bother going anywhere else for better price/food/service

Absolutely wonderful cafe, with lovely fresh food. Went in for brunch, and had the Big Breakfast, but will be returning to try the other delicious food! It was an excellent portion, warm and tasty. Hope to come back soon!

I had the pleasure of having breakfast here today - a typical English breakfast which was very good and the apple pie with pudding was delicious! The service was very nice, the place also has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend. If I am in London again, I’ll definitely come there for breakfast.

Generous portion, wonderful service. They boxed up what I couldn't finish then and there for me to take to work and heat up later.

Looks amazing and staff were lovely but sadly we couldn't stay as there were no toilet facilities which are pretty essential at lunchtime on a day out, especially with children.

Amazing! Felt like home inside - the staff are not only very welcoming and friendly towards customers, but they also treat each other with love and that was beautiful to see! It's bustling inside - very busy, yet not too loud. Instead of over the top loud music, you'll hear people's chattering instead. Very much an old-school cafe. The food - delicious and cheap. A full english, a coffe and a coke cost me £9.40. Will definitely be back!

Awesome unmarked location for a brunch. They don't have a restroom though. You ll need to use the one located in topshop -2 floor

I think I got there near their closing time. I tried one of their special sandwiches which was truly not that special. Interesting place, prices seem affordable and fair for what you get. Sadly they didn't have most of the items available at 3pm so maybe it is worth giving it another try.

This is an absolute gem. The big breakfast is perfect - generous, everything arrives piping hot and the tea is quality. Great value at £7.90 (as of May '22). The staff are friendly and the place is popular - you can tell it's a decent spoon by the sea of hi-viz jackets at workers' break times. Highly recommended.

Just avoid if you don't wanna get charged more for removing items from a breakfast. Never in my life have I come across such robbery Over priced as it is. But to then charge someone extra for removing bacon and having an egg instead? Why not keep it the same price? How is an egg more than bacon? Absolutely ridiculous Then the manager was extremely rude when we questioned his decision on charging people an extra £ for replacing bacon with one egg !! Extremely rude . Would never eat there again if they paid me. I laugh at these reviews about it being the best cafe in London. They must be the most delusional bunch of people in London .
