Very comfortable hotel for every need. Too bad it needs a general overhaul

We spent New Year's Eve in this restaurant. The service was good, but the food was served a little too quickly. That said, they were really delicious. The negative point was the loud music, which made conversations at the table difficult.

Adar took great care of us for out Afternoon Tea! Exceptional⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent experience. Good food and cooking with great attention to detail. I am gluten intolerant and had no problems choosing a dish. Manuel- the waiter who served us- was very thoughtful about it. Very satisfied!

We ate breakfast everyday and servers Monika and Joselito were excellent! Both very hardworking and pleasant people. Hotel management should be very happy to have them as employees. We need more people like them. Happy holidays to them!

Went to the st martin lane for cocktails and bar food with friends. Fantastic food / great atmosphere / impeccable service Highly recommended esp during busy christmas period. Manuel our waitor made the night. So attentive, friendly and very funny.

The only positive point of this establishment is its location. For the rest, the welcome is as warm as a post office counter on a Monday morning. It almost feels like the staff are competing to prove that they are more important than the customer. Empathy ? Interest ? Words clearly banned from their vocabulary. The hotel seems to have been designed as a profit machine where the stars serve more as decoration than as a guarantee of comfort. Besides, in terms of comfort, apart from 2 tea bags and 2 coffee pods, don't expect much. In the bathroom? Not even a toothbrush or other courtesy product worthy of the name. As for toilet paper, it is so thin that it is advisable to use several sheets at the same time at the risk of facing an unfortunate accident... The bedrooms are a masterclass in acoustics: flushing toilets from the upstairs neighbors, nocturnal frolics and sneezing next door, and if you're lucky, a symphony of raindrops on the windowsill. Add to that 140 cm queen size beds that would make a 3-star hotel pale, and you will understand why sleep is only a distant memory here. In short, this hotel convinced us of one thing: we will stay elsewhere during our next stay in London. If you are looking for a real 5 star, go your way. This one is only to be recommended to your worst enemy.

If you are thinking about whether to come to this hotel, I do not recommend it! We are now at the hotel and absolute disappointment. The rooms do not have a closet, just a kind of storage room with a curtain and 5 hangers. It does not correspond to its category at all. Basic bathroom. The closet thing is unacceptable! Very bad, a shame because we came with enthusiasm but it was a mistake. No solution! Rafa's treatment was unbeatable. For now, the best of the hotel!

Very nice hotel and attentive staff, perfectly met my expectations

We recently stayed at this hotel with our baby and had an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was more helpful than we could have imagined. Special shoutout to Keisha, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we were settled into a room that could accommodate a baby cot. They even set it up for us before we arrived! The staff was always friendly and eager to assist, making our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. As Americans traveling with a small family, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would definitely stay here again!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Incredibly kind staff and good sized rooms for London. The overall service is truly top tier. Whatever the staff is getting paid now they deserve a raise. Special thanks to Visa (sorry if I’m misspelling your name), he goes above and beyond. Great person. Location wise if you want something relatively central to downtown London this is great. It’s near trafalgar square so it can get a little busy and touristy, but it is what it is, most of London is touristy anyways. The food is also great and what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel.

This is the best hotel in London well i think it is as soon as you walk in it feels so fresh the smell of lemon grass 😀 makes you forget you are in the centre of London The staff are so welcoming they treat you just like a VIP The rooms are spotless there's plenty of room Well the location is just perfect definitely recommend 5 stars every time

I visited the restaurant inside the hotel on a weekday afternoon. We had a 2-course meal for £29. We ordered two non-alcoholic cocktails as well. The food and drinks were both excellent. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Manuel! You’re amazing.

The location is in Covent Garden. Walking, shopping and coffee shops are within walking distance But the rooms are very narrow and the bed is for one and a half people. We asked for connecting rooms because we are a family with children and this service was not available to us The breakfast is good and the service is excellent

The staff were welcoming and very professional, unfortunately their hard work is let down by the room. We had stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and the decor of the room had not changed in that time (we checked a photo taken in 2014). The general fixtures and fittings were very worn. Various chips and cracks on furniture showing many years of wear. We had expected to see a much better condition for the price paid. The room was clean and breakfast very good, but the general appearance of the room was a significant let down.

Needed a drink and lunch while shopping in town. They immediately sat us in the garden at a lovely table, looked after the dog, delivered perfect cocktails and tasty food. Monica, our server, was a delight.

We stayed at St Martins Lane for anniversary trip and the hotel, staff, and property is beautiful. When you first walk in it smells sooooo good. The only thing I didn’t like was the garden room is directly above the kitchen and staff area. So there was a lot of noise such as doors closing, staff coming and going plus lots of dishes clinking. So I don’t recommend the garden room. Also the rooms are NOT sound proof(as advertised) so be cautious if you are with your partner on a romantic getaway. It was little embarrassing but neither was a huge issue just in case that information is helpful to anyone.

Love this hotel, definitely our go to in London! And the signature smell of the lobby is mesmerizing, brought back home the room spray for my daughter who was obsessed with it and kept throwing herself on the carpet in the lobby. 😍😂

Inventive and fairly priced, and everything we had was subtly seasoned and cooked. Our dinner, on the lovely (and quiet) terrace, was never less than superb and with dessert reached the sublime. The skilled and hilarious service from Manuel was a treat in itself. It was a meal none of us will forget, or want to forget either.

Fantastic location. Many sights can be easily reached on foot. From Heathrow you can take the Piccadilly Line directly to Leicester Square. Then it's only about 150 m to the hotel. However, you have to know that this underground station is not barrier-free and you have to carry your suitcases up/down a few stairs. However, most of the altitude is overcome with a long elevator. The three of us had a deluxe room with a king-size bed and an extra bed. The room was very clean and bright. We had a view of the Nelson statue in Trafalgar Square. Very cool! The beds are comfortable. The bathroom was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want to complain, then on a high level: there wasn't enough space for suitcases in the room (probably due to the extra bed). And overall there are very few compartments/cupboards or general space for clothes. And we didn't really get along with the air conditioning. It was either too warm or too cold. We definitely want to come back one day, but then we'll probably get a bigger room and be introduced to the air conditioning at the beginning ☺️.

St. Martin's Lane Hotel is hands down one of the BEST hotels I've ever stayed at. The location is absolutely perfect, placing you right in the heart of everything. The bar was fantastic, offering a great atmosphere and excellent drinks. While the room (we chose) wasn't particularly special, the service more than made up for it. My sincerest commendations go to Franco, Analise, and Carlos. Their exceptional service and friendly disposition truly stood out. Although I don't recall the names of other staff members, every single person I encountered was friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful. And just sitting in the lobby, I realised they treated every single guest with the same care and attention. Overall, St. Martin's Lane Hotel excels in hospitality and provides an outstanding experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch stay. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the service we received from every staff member was exception. The attention to detail and fantastic service had exceeded all the previous accommodation we had stayed in over the last 3 weeks. Well done!

We had a wonderful afternoon tea - there was so much we had to box up the last two tiers to take home! Skender was an exceptional host and server: incredibly polite, attentive and knowledgeable. Our dietary requirements (halal, with my Mum's allergies) were catered to sensitively with no problem. The quirky paintings and references to them in the tea were a fun touch!

I can’t believe how amazing the food is!! The server Manuel was so knowledgable about the food and very intuitive on mine and the other guests taste and told us about the various meals and sides to go with them. Manuel was SUPER amazing with my 7 year old keeping her occupied with a colouring book and making her feel a sense of responsibility ordering for herself.

I took my mother here for her birthday this Easter weekend. We were exceedingly well looked after by Skender. Service was exceptionally good without being intrusive. I also think 2 courses for £25 is great value. All in all we had a fabulous day.

We popped in for a late supper after a screening at BAFTA. Marek mixed us some delicious cocktails, and we were looked after superbly by Marek and Kohinoor. I had an excellent Ribeye steak and my wife had the Celeriac Mille Feuille. Both were superb.

Went for a typical afternoon tea at St Martins Lane. A warm welcome at the reception. Soon we were guided to the Den. Juliana was our host who welcomed us warmly. After explaining the storyline around the tea we were good to go. She offered a great service and was around when needed.

Such an amazingly special Afternoon Tea! If visiting London and looking for a unique tea experience, this is it!! The Den is cozy and feels exclusive with so much character and detail that adds to the story of the deserts! So clever!
