Great friendly place to lunch. Advisable o book ahead as its that popular . I opted for omelette without salad my husband chose the chilli jacket which came with cheese , salad & coleslaw. Mine arrived with beans, enough to keep 4 cowboys happy. :-) All served with a smile of course. Hubby had a glass of lager & I had a small glass of wine. For under £30 that considering the quality of the food and the portions sizes was very reasonable. Would definitely go back, nothing on their lunch menu was over £9 .

Las críticas existentes me sorprenden - no entiendo cómo pudieron haber tenido una experiencia tan buena. On our journey home from north Wales we called in at The Lost Arc for lunch. It is a lovely, unusual place; a cafe with real character. We sat outside in the lovely garden. Draft beer and lager was available which delighted my husband and sons. The food was delicious. Pulled pork flatbreads and rolls (plus vegetarian options) soup and a daily special. I chose quiche and salad, which was excellent along with all of our meals. There are cakes and ice creams available. In the evening there’s oven fired pizzas and the venue hosts live events. The added extra was the kindness and friendliness of the staff. Everyone appeared happy in their work and were lovely to us. Nearby there is a woodland walk along the river Wye.

Lovely tearoom in a quiet spot which was perfect as I was looking for somewhere away from the busy town centre.The scone with jam and cream was delicious, and the coffee was good too.

Lovely family atmosphere. Cafe pretty and clean. Service excellent and food perfect. Very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

We were travelling to Barry so decided to find somewhere to have a snack after crossing the bridge into Wales and plumped for Magor. We came across Donnies in the market place and was blown away by the friendliness, quality of what was on offer and the price. We'll definitely go back.

Fantastic pasties, the owner Kurmang is very friendly and caring, my partner is in a wheelchair and couldn't make the step, but he came out and helped her with the order. We live on the Isle of Man, but will be back when we are next over visiting family.

Very Dog friendly! Very busy when we went, lovely coffee and cakes. Friendly staff. Decent size place, outdoor space at the back for the warmer weather

Excellent Sunday roast. Lovely Staff, very friendly and helpful. Also, they gave a great space for playing darts and pool.

The food here never disappoints, highly recommended 😋
