Absolutely shocking prices and food! for a breakfast roll with 1 smashed up egg and half a sausage price £7!!! I waited 20min for food that looked like s#!t scooped up off the floor and squashed into more s#! I will not be going there every again and I will recommend to everyone I know how awful the food and service is there. I would of sed something at the time however, I’m glad I didn’t as I would not have been able to control my language at the slop I was served.

Such a shame that while many cafes and restaurants embrace allowing dogs into their premises, this does not, only guide dogs. Also noted chips in saucers and milk jugs.

If you want to visit a place which does good coffee, every time, go here. If you want food to add, especially breakfast, brunch type, go here! Lovely little place with really friendly staff run by the owners you'll never go wrong ordering from here. Sat in for food with and without the kids and always easy. They use common sense and will get the kids food out first if they're young which is great as parents as you keep the antics to a minimum. Highly recommended!

Sometimes difficult to find a seat or a parking space; this place has become deservedly popular! The menu is pretty egg and avocado heavy which is fine if that’s what you are into. The coffee is very good. The service is excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. The decor is what I believe is called ‘industrial’ and seems to work. It attracts a varied bunch, mostly above average in terms of friendliness. Great to see a local business working hard, with imagination and reaping the rewards.

Great for brunch - I really enjoyed my sourdough toast, avocado, bacon and a fried egg. Unbeatable BUT my companion who doesn’t eat either eggs or avocado was a bit stuck. He had the bacon roll which was excellent but wanted something else. Delicious but maybe they should extend the menu a bit. Something involving

Been looking forward to visiting this cafe for a while now as their insta is so alluring I had to come and see what the fuss was all about.... I put solo when asked what demographic at the beginning of this post mainly because I went here with my 6 year old son who I just had a feeling wouldn’t like what’s on the menu so I fed him at home first! I was right to do so.... not all kids like smashed avo on crispy sourdough toast or the like so if you have a “normal kid” (what ever that is 😏) maybe re-think who you come here with, if you love a decent coffee and I do mean decent I am exceptionally fussy about buying coffee out, this is the place to go, cappuccino was so good in fact I had two over breakfast which is not unheard of from me but is uncommon! I also ordered the crumpet stack which was literally a few crumpets with a heck load of avocado, bacon and a poached egg (done to perfection I might add!) my son had a brownie. It was a lovely birthday treat to myself as the staff were really friendly especially the young woman on the till! Who ever made the lemon and raspberry cake, that was absolutely delicious 😋, I am glad i came

Rag and Bone, without doubt, serves the best poached eggs in Swansea! The menu is fun, creative and varied and the food always delicious . I’ve eaten here a lot and the food has always been 10/10. As well as breakfast, brunch and lunch they also do fab cakes and an excellent cup of coffee. My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves visiting too - her favourite being a sausage sandwich washed down with a Capri sun! Service, again, always excellent, a warm welcome and the team will make any alterations or upgrades to your order, if you request. Highly recommended to all. They can get very busy at times but that’s a testament to how great they are... I think the reviews speak for themselves! If you haven’t tried it yet...Get down there!

This place is a credit to the owners and staff. They have managed to get everything right. Plenty of great places in Swansea but this establishment is pure quality.1) Food - fantastic selection, very tasty and good quality (bacon is beautiful), homemade selection of cakes.2) Drinks - coffee is beautiful, have all the soft drinks you want plus an eclectic selection of other soft drinks that you would not normally see.3) Ambience - casual, comfortable seating. Selection of high style seating, comfy couch style and normal seats.4) Service - faultless and friendly. My partner is a coeliac - ensuring she had gluten free meal was no hassle and her food (she reports) was beautiful. We asked for drinks and cake to take away and this was no hassle at all.5) Even the bathrooms were spotless clean!!Congrats - what a place. This is our new regular brunch venue!!

I managed to visit this place successfully after trying a number of times to find it closed (and it’s difficult to find opening times). It has a nice lively atmosphere. Service was a little slower than would be expected, especially for coffee. The menu has some unusual options; I ordered a bacon, egg and sausage brioche, which also had avocado and cheese. My sister and myself enjoyed a delicious panini, which had thick home cooked ham. The panini was accompanied by a small side salad with a delicious dressing and the nicest crisps I’ve had for a long time. We followed this up with a slice of Bakewell tart, which was also good. I’ve been really looking forward to popping here for brunch for a while, lovely reviews and the insta photos! Looked promising. I had an average flat white and a brioche bun with sausage patty, eggs, ‘cheese’ and avo. It was just plopped on the plate with no care - looked unappetising and all squashed together. The eggs were over cooked and rubbery and the bun soggy. My OH had the sunny side up egg, bacon and sourdough. Although his egg was hard too he enjoyed. I won’t be back in a hurry.

This is on my doorstep so I have always just walked past but today I was meeting a friend and we just popped in so we could sit and have a natter. Excellent coffee. My friend who is not a big coffee drinker asked for more hot milk which was bought speedily at no extra charge. We each had a toasted tea cake which was lovely but next time I will definitely order something from the menu as I had definite food envy from watching the other customers orders being delivered. How great to have this place so close.

Found this on TripAdvisor when looking for a good breakfast place close to our AirBnB house on the August Bank Holiday weekend. Went with our 2 young daughters on the Sat morning and it was a good job we got in around 8.45am as by about 9am it was full (had called in advance but was told they don't usually take bookings and we shouldn't have to wait long). Good selection of different hot breakfast/brunch options, variety of drinks (dairy free milks available) and a tempting display of homemade-looking cakes and tray bakes. The amazing doughnuts next to the till were too much for our girls to resist so they ended up having one for 'dessert' after the fantastic Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon (our 7yr old told them it should be called Eggs Royale!) and perfect scrambled eggs on toast (high praise indeed from our fussy 9yr old). My husband thought he'd died and gone to heaven when his order of the special arrived (a huge stacked bagel with melted Dutch cheese, pastrami, sauerkraut, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce), definitely an indulgent treat for our weekend away. They were also very happy to grant my request for gluten free toast with cheese, avocado and poached eggs which was delicious. Prices were very fair for the high quality of food, good portions and attractive presentation. Accompanied by the great coffee, it was a standout breakfast that we had hoped to repeat before returning home - we were all very disappointed when we found out they were shut on the Bank Holiday Monday!!

I've been coming to Rag & Bone for about 18 months now. Ever since I was introduced by a friend, its been a hopeless love affair for the food & coffee, as well as the friendly service and above all, incredible passion these lovely people have for their craft.Albeit a small and slightly cramped cafe, Rag & Bone offers a delightful menu, packed with variety and flavour. Avocado is a firm favourite but they'll happily take it off for you if you aren't too keen. Personally, I'd recommend the Brioche Stack or if you're looking for something a little more original and lighter, the Crumpet Stack. Its all about the coffee for me. I've been to most of the small pop-up and long-time serving coffee establishments in Swansea as well as Cardiff, but I can gladly say, the coffee served at Rag & Bone is without doubt, the best around. The barista delicately but expertly crafts every single cup, fresh to order. The attention to detail in the latte art makes for a winning Instagram post every time. I make a weekly trip to Rag & Bone which often stands out as the highlight of my week.

We visited R&B cafe this morning for breakfast. The cafe itself is fairly small and there isn’t a huge amount of space between the tables and seats. It was quite busy when we arrived, but were lucky enough to get a small table by the door. It was a bit of a tight squeeze because we needed a high chair for our 8 month old. The cafe itself is done out really nicely, with some cool light fixings and retro seating. There’s a large selection on offer on the menu... but it’s all a lil bit to fancy imo. Every other other option seemed to have avocado in it and they didn’t have a “full” breakfast option available. I settled on a bacon and egg roll and the wife had stacked crumpets (with avocado obviously). Service was pretty quick once we placed our order at the counter and when the food turned up, it did look and taste good, but I do feel it is very over priced compared to some of the other recently opened cafes in the SWANSEA area. All in all, I’d go back for a coffee with the wife if passing, but would prob go somewhere else if I wanted a breakfast or had the baby with me.

My partner and his family visited in November. We were made to feel very welcome. Great ales on tap. We were lucky enough for them to let us eat a takeaway in there as the restaurant we planned to go to had double booked which was very kind of them. We had a great night and was so privileged to hear Hermione the bar manager sing in a cappella an Irish folk tune. Wow we couldn't hear a pin drop when she sang. It literally took my breath away. Definitely recommend this place and we will definitely revisit .

I have waited several weeks before writing this. I rarely post negative reviews, particularly not for small independent venues. But the price of 2 pieces of cheese on toast costing £10.95 is still irritating me. I didn’t look at the bill until sitting back down and my bank account flashed up the amount. I went back to the counter and asked if this was correct. Then to add insult to injury, we had nearly finished our coffees and my wife went to the counter to check where the cheese on toast was. No apology from the staff, and they said it was waiting in the kitchen as they couldn’t remember what table ordered it. You would expect sour dough bread or some, artisan crafted speciality bread and a fine local Welsh mature cheddar for this price. What we received was big standard supermarket sliced brown bread and a meagre layer of big standard supermarket cheese, that barely covered the cardboard toast. It was now barely tepid and ranks as the worst and most expensive cheese on toast we have ever had. Our cake was good but I overpriced, and the coffee was OK, but no where near as good as numerous other coffee shops in Swansea. Positives are: venue is nice and clean, staff friendly but somewhat dopey. It’s a shame they demolished my old school Ty-Coch. I am sure the catering ladies would have done a better job

As a paying visitor, me and my friends were disrespected and humiliated in front of other paying visitors. Dave Jones the captain came over to us and started questioning our clothes even though I have had no issues at every other golf club in Swansea. Also, there were people dressed in clothes a lot worse than ours but he did not bat an eye lid just because we were juniors. I was considering getting a membership but after the disrespect I received I will not be returning to this golf club.
